@Stern AlgorithmYou think those were Skull's boys? They're dead now. Skull's boys are the guys in the suits like the guy who spitballs hard enough to knock guns out of peoples hands. Those grunts were on the same chopping block as you including the flamer guy, and the shielder.
Stern you're also acting overtly salty if you have a problem with how I'm gm'ing that's fine a player has the right to be so but you're acting out in a way that is extremely sarcastic, and rude. Shadewalker is the boss of the general group he sees things fairly. His quirk can be considered overpowered but he has an extremely fatal flaw, in it that prevents him from doing certain things. Captain East is a pseudo drunk but he is vastly stronger than the average hero. He is second in command to shadewalker's group in its entirety. His rank is the reason why people have to listen to him respecting him is optional, Shadewalker certainly doesn't in his own right.
King Sakura got blown up by a car, that he barely survived, and used the last of his strength to escape the group. He managed to pull a civilian away once, and then put up a solid fight in which he couldn't intently kill player characters. I'm not sure how you want me to make a reoccurring character without them incompetent, or lucky. His friend elephants the elephant man was also sent to the hospital with extreme burns. Staying longer would've resulted in more heroes in what should've been a quick bank heist distraction. The objective wasn't to kill the heroes in the first place it was about sending a message about banks not being safe to certain backers.
The thugs at the bank were highly trained mercenaries payed by the black hand. They set the situation up in order to make the group's heist to go effectively as possible. Player uncoordination resulted in them losing a hostage, be it warranted or not I chose to let it happen because the heroes were prepped at that time, and were waiting for the mercenaries to make a mistake. Likewise I don't believe them ordering around the group was a thing they said to do things, and the players were free to ignore them, or not. The only time it specifically effected a player was to specifically make sure King didn't spear the aforementioned player.
White Skull is a psychotic. He was put in charge of the group, and is a defacto boss on the same rank as Shade but for a different department. Shade doesn't typically go for loud explosive parties like Skull. Skull here had a job that he chose to make extreme. Weed out possibly weak villains. He chose to do that through poison specifically with his own bio-engineered parasites. He made those parasites presumably for another job at some point. I was/am intending to introduce them as a assist later on our side. Skull simply is currently in a position where he holds most of the cards. I don't need to point out he is in no position to exactly defend himself against Midnight who has a distinct advantage on him specifically. Not that he specifically cares if he dies, or not. More over the current situation is only happening BECAUSE EVIL BROKE THE VIALS OF THE CURE SKULL SPECIFICALLY TOLD HIM WAS EXACTLY THAT. That is in no way, shape, or form my fault as a gm. More over Skull isn't so much respected because he's a boss but because hes a raving mad man who's capable of making insanely effective gases, and bio weapons specifically aimed to help The black hand. His role in the fight was only to hold off the cops, and he took out he teacher off screen with only the few goons he had helping him out.
The UA's lost the battle. More over auto-dodging, and such is a thing they're NPC enemies should i expound on how they MIGHT dodge something? The high ground in the fight with Mori allowed a quick hero, and two ranged heroes to effectively use their quirks to stone wall people. High ground advantage is a aspect of warfare. Same reason why the archer was hiding in the buildings. One is dead, Archer could've died if both you, and midnight had posted more he was pretty much cornered, and out of arrows. His last shot was a bloody boxing glove arrow that should tell you he used all his effective ammo. You all left before you actually finished him because posts were taking too long. The other girl is crippled mentally for life after seeing her friends shot up. Laser fingers lost his fight, Mori was the bakugo equivalent of the group he was the strongest. The other villains failed to help specifically for the reasons I have already stated including them being weak/inefficient. The girl called Chi got taken down rather easy. And Verd's attempt to attack the psychic's group was advertly wrong. He went for a front approach knowing the girl behind him was an earth manipulator in quirk. They were also second years which Shade Walker would've told you once you got back home. The speedster got away, and the angel girl did too but the girl was injured enough to take her out of the active fight. The tokyo special was arguably the only thing they did that inflicted any sort of minor damage. Keep in mind I can just say as GM the speedster got a 'second wind', and that can be the end of it. It should be as GM I am the person who runs the story. Figured having someone to build an arc out of the archer's sacrifice would've done something for the story as a whole.
@Stern Algorithm@Eviledd1984@Zelosse If this is all considered I'll present an ultimatum. I'll shark jump all of this. I'll have a skull grunt who is capable of copying physical objects, such as the syringe, copy the thing and fix everyone. The trade off being no more chances for anyone. If you do something overtly inane such as setting off a bomb inside a building while you're in it, or charge an entire line of enemy veteran heroes with no back up than that's it. Game set match. I believe that's a fair trade off for throwing away continuity. I alluded to that before I even got everyone in the trucks to escape. And before that something should have come from the red flag of Skull being so confident of his ability to deal with anyone who didn't beat the students. The only other options is to A. leave the roleplay, or b. accept it. Evil can either accept the previous statement, and drink the syringe juice off the floor. Or make a new character if you all hate the compromise i'm offering.
