so I was looking at images for my two characters and wanted to know if you had anything in mind with our characters appearances since the siblings should look at least somewhat alike?

Well, I'm thinking for the kid I'll use the kid version of Kiritsugu Emiya, so yeah, I guess darker hair, and… Actually, that's pretty much it. I'm still trying to pick a specific picture, but yeah. I don't really know about my second character yet. I'll probably build that one around your ones.

Doesn't matter. What with the two families though, maybe we could even have both! I don't really have a firm idea of where it'll be set, but to avoid making things to easy with everyone having a gun, I was thinking maybe Europe somewhere. As for the characters, it looks like you'd already had the same idea, but I'll have my awesome kid brother be the girls younger brother, and then make an older brother for the epileptic one.

Although I did just realise that you may have thought I meant Shirou, what with the whole red hair thing. Of course, I might just go with that anyway, and then use Kiritsugu for the older brother, so I guess it works out anyway!

oh crap, I immediately saw Emiya and thought Shirou (I'm a Fate fan, I swear :') ) but yeah, if you want to go with that, then that sounds good! I don't know if you had any ideas for the family dynamics, but I would think the first pair I listed would be full siblings and the other pair be half or step siblings? And then we could rp their backstories as we see fit? Or did you want to plan everything out beforehand?

btw, I'll have a basic cs of one of my character up soon ^^

I'm down with that idea. I'm thinking we just make stuff up as we go along, makes things less predictable. I'll probably steal your CS for my characters as well, but there probably won't be too much except for the basics, and maybe some stuff about their personalities so we can know how the siblings will act around each other.

Na is a young and beautiful adult with long ash red hair that stops around her lower back, purple blue eyes and fair skin. Standing around 5' 4", Na is often seen dressed in a slightly over sized navy blue raincoat with simple clothes underneath. She normally has on skirts or shorts on and always has on a dirty pair of combat boots.

Personality
Peace, love, and harmony is Na's main objective. Most are instantly be swept away by Na's rustic charm and pleasant demeanor, enchanted by her wide array of conversation topics. She can be reserved and formal at first. But once you get her talking, a five minute conversation can morph into a three-hour philosophical discourse. Because Na seeks compromise, she dislikes conflict and anything that feels “unfair.” In fact, that's the only time one would probably see her angry. Her system simply can’t tolerate it. She's a natural diplomat who will do everything to negotiate between warring parties that just can’t get along. She can accurately see both sides to a situation, and often resolve disputes in an equitable way for all involved. Although she hates doing such, Na will use her natural charms and good looks to manipulate others into taking care of her or doing her bidding. When it comes to her own decision-making, she has an even harder time and will vacillate between “Should I?” or “Shouldn’t I?”. And when it comes to her little brother, she'll glad fight for him and take his side in almost every argument.

Nino is a very small and sickly young boy with short pinkish purple ombre hair that stops around the nape of his neck, purple blue eyes with noticeable bags under them, and naturally pale skin. Standing just under five feet, Nino often wears baggy clothes, hoodies, and worn out hand me downs that fit his bony frame. He normally doesn't have shoes and instead just wears socks.

Personality
Nino can be tricky to spot. With his reserved and sick persona, he seldom starts a conversation or express interest in others openly—unless he feels out the situation first or its his older brother; and even then, he has a hard time talking to others in general. Once you get him to open up, however, he shows a vast amount of silent love and appreciation towards said person. Known to read people as easily as a children’s book, Nino seems to just KNOW all secrets, soft spots and fears. His focused attention can be addictive, and even painful when it’s pulled away. While he doesn’t give up his loyalty and trust easily, once he does, he’ll stick with you through thick and thin. Don’t even think about double-crossing Nino or his sibling, though, because he WILL unleash his fury on you despite his sick body, divulging all of your secrets and airing your dirty laundry. On a positive note, Nino is the perfect person to talk to about anything as his patience is incredibly high. He secretly yearns for the very thing he fears: true intimacy with others, but it takes a lot for Nino to reveal his vulnerability until it him right in the face (i.e. getting sick). As Nino opens up and learns to show his shadow side, he can heal in ways that are truly profound.

- Has a terrible immune system and is known to stare off into space if left alone for long enough.

Thats pretty good! Ok, I'll get started on my two now. For the irish kids, I was actually thinking they were just on holiday, when everything went to shit kind of abruptly, maybe Ireland closed their borders or something and they got trapped on the mainland. For the others, no idea really. Maybe Italy? It's one of the few european countries I actually know more about than the basics.

Also, fun (probably stupid) little idea I'm gonna cannibalise from another story I came up with. Somehow or other, this apocalypse leads to a second Roman Empire. Maybe surviving rogue Vatican elements or something, where enough of them survive to keep a relatively stable chain of command, but they're also a bit more fanatical then they are at the moment, so the italian brothers, assuming they actually do end up being italian, have had to escape, which is how they end up meeting.

Hell, maybe those rogue elements even created the plague, who knows?

Alright, well in that case, I've got another idea that kind of stems from that. Basically, outside of Italy, this whole situation hasn't been going on too long. It's maybe been four days or so since everything collapsed and the anarchy and madness began. In Italy however, it's been going on for just over a month now, but other governments had managed to keep it relatively quarantined until recently. So basically the Italians have been through quite a bit before the RP actually starts.

Oh, also, did you still wanna make Nino and my older character step brothers?

So essentially we're making Italy the source of said plague which resulted in the outbreak? That would be really cool actually and possibly make outsiders shun the brothers because of where they came from (and then this could add tension with all our characters with the possibility of both of them already being infected)? Overall, I like that idea!

And yeah, just for a different family dynamic.

Yeah, wouldn't be fun if one of our characters died or became a monster because of it >.> Although I am curious, will it be sort of like the Last of Us, where people want to capture them in attempts to create an antibody that would save people from the plague? Well, we could only do this if someone saw the Italy brothers run away or if a higher up knew of their existence and immunity.

Al is a young boy with short red hair and light brown, almost amber eyes. Somewhat short even for his age, he stands at just 4’7, and while the clothes he wears tend to vary wildly, he was wearing a red hoodie, white shirt and jeans when everything went to hell.

Personality
Al is a very… lets just say boisterous kid, often shouting and grinning. Rarely quiet, he’s always jumping into situations that others would avoid, and isn’t afraid to step up and blurt out a decision if he feels like the people around him are acting too slowly.

Nowadays however, things are a little different. Ever since the anarchy began, he’s seen things that have horrified him. While he still tries to act upbeat and unshakable, if for nothing else than to keep Na from worrying, he will sometimes find himself staring at nothing in particular, less than pleasant memories replaying in his head. Oddly enough, he’s also found himself becoming a lot more protective of Na, ready to fight anyone he perceives as a threat.

Giovanni is a young man with brown hair and eyes. He stands relatively tall, at just over 6’3 feet, and will wear whatever the hell he finds. He’s not picky.

Personality
When one first meets him, they couldn’t be blamed for having a fairly low opinion of Giovanni. He is quite blunt, often telling people exactly what he thinks of them, and acts pretty lazy. He can also be quite selfish, hypocritical, even a little cowardly, and is just a general bother to deal with.

However, work your way around these blatant faults and you’ll find someone ridiculously good at rising to the occasion. He is fiercely protective of Nino, even if it doesn’t always look like it, and if anyone he cares about is threatened, he will fight relentlessly to keep them out of harms way. He can also be quite cunning, using all kinds of dirty underhanded tricks both inside and outside fights. Finally, he’s bluntness can almost count as a strength, as it means that when he complements a person, they can know he really means it.

Yeah, their immunity might make them targets later on, but I have to say, you bringing up the possibility of them becoming monsters is actually a little intriguing to me. I'm thinking of making my older brother, Giovanni, a bit of a fighter, and now I wonder if that might be an interesting side plot, for him, or for one of the others...

ah, you really think so? I think it could bring up a lot of drama and interesting plots throughout the rp. Its definitely something we could keep in mind, especially if we could explain and provide a good reason as to why Giovanni or any of the other characters got infected when they were said to be 'immune' to it.

Kinda an idea i just thought of, we could have Nino get attacked by one of the monsters prior to the rp (which would explain his very sickly persona). Seeing that he hasn't been turned into a monster or hasn't died yet, they make the wrong conclusion that both brothers are immune to the plague when in face they're step brothers and have no blood relation? This could give reason to why they think he's immune when he really isn't?
