Oh, I was thinking that he was always sickly, but that's kind of why Giovanni's worried about the possibility of him turning. Of course, no ones actually turned yet, so they don't actually know about the monsters, but once they start showing up, he'll begin to worry again. Also, I'm thinking that the plague works by killing most, and then turning most of the rest, so even if you're immune to the properties that kill people, you aren't necessarily immune to the transformative properties.

ah right right. So the plague has mostly just killed people at this point and no monsters have surfaced yet. Okay that makes sense actually. Sick people could be more vulnerable to the effect which adds to Giovanni's worrying. I'm cool with that! So those that are alive currently are immune to the killing portion of the plague but maybe not the transformation part of it? And if that's the case is the plague airborne, or like what originally caused it?

I think it's more transmitted by people and animals, kind of like rabies I guess. Maybe water too. Thats how they kept it from spreading for so long. As for what caused it, maybe bioterrorism? Maybe this thing with the rogue Vatican factions has been going on longer than people realised.

ah okay cool. I'm curious as to how other locations treated Italy before the outbreak, especially since they didn't know what was going on until it was too late. And that plausible.

ayyy my boi Adachi (ngl I almost typed Akechi)! Who could blame you though (Persona and Fate are awesome)? Anyways, Giovanni seems like a very interesting character to interest with! ^^

So now, after we move our characters to the character tab, we need to figure out who posts first. Did you want to go first? Or should I? Only asking because I'm not sure what I would do with Nino since he isn't very physically athletic.

Actually, while I did watch quite a bit of them just a little bit ago, I was referring to the far less laudable Gintama, which I still don't think deserves to be as good as it is. Based enough of Joe's personality on the protagonist that I am legitimately ashamed of myself.

As for the other countries, they were definitely quarantining Italy, but there was no trace of the whole conspiracy side of it that they knew of. They just knew that some unidentified virus began to ravage the peninsula, and tried to stop it from spreading. Then, through unknown means (carefully targeted bioterrorism), it suddenly began to spread across the rest of the world ridiculously fast.

oohhh, i heard Gintama is pretty cool! The main character is Gintoki right? Or something like that? That actually really explains the personality if you based it off of his own lol

Referring to the first post, I could do it if I had some kind of premise of where each pair was. For the Irish kids, since they came during the holiday, they could be in a rented summer house and I could just make up some stuff from there? As for the Italy brothers are we rping after they've ran away and found some safety in an abandoned apartment complex (for Nino's sake) or something? Or rping right when they run away?

Yeah, maybe. We could have Al and Na hiding away in a house their parents were renting after they ran from the city the airport was in, not with their parents, of course. Instead of having them be dead straight up though, maybe make it that they were just separated from them, and they're waiting as well.

Meanwhile, Giovanni and Nino are looking for a safer place to hunker down for a little while, because the way they came is not looking great. Depending on what you want, we can have the two groups meet up right away by bringing Nino and Giovanni to the Irish's door, or we could have them wander alone for a bit. I personally reckon we should bring the groups together at the start though.

yeah, that sounds good. Sets them up nicely for the Italy brothers to knock on their doorstep. As for the other two, yeah, I was thinking they would meet up quickly instead of dragging it out. I could have the first post start with the brothers walking up to their doorstep and then Na's immediate reaction to it. How does that sound?

sorry, quick question, is Joe the type of person to bust down a door? Because right now I have them walking down a row of houses that look to be occupied until they find the Al and Na's house isolated from them. Maybe he thought it was vacant and let them both in? Or would he do something else in that case?

He would definitely bust it down, but… I don't know how to describe it any other way than 'lazily'. Like, he'd walk past houses because he'd find some seemingly petty problem with it rather than because they're occupied, and then he'd think 'Oh, theres a nice one', kick it down, and then try to make himself comfortable, wearing a bored, half lidded expression the entire time. Of course, beneath the facade, he'd have done it because he thinks its the only unoccupied one, but he keeps up the dumbass facade to get an edge on people if it comes down to a fight.

Ok, done. Probably one of my less wonderfully written ones, considering I didn't get to much of Al in there, but I tried to capture the essence of a first meeting with Giovanni as best I could.

Ok, so I'm getting started on my next post now, but I should warn you that I can't always use a computer for my posts, so in a few days the length of my posts may very well drop significantly. I mean, I'll try to get ones out with a similar length, but just be prepared for a few shorter ones when I need to use my phone.

Oh, also, I'll mention now that my plan is to, around the start at least, make Giovanni look completely and utterly unimpressive, so he can have a cool big reveal when he actually does need to fight. Only Nino will know that he's actually even remotely capable, while Na and Alistair will just see him as kind of a useless, annoying lump. Maybe I'll let him cook once or twice so they don't just abandon him, but until the fight, he's unnecessary meat.
