Whilst having human parentage, Kyniah takes after her high elven ancestry more than she does her human ancestry.
The half-elf stands at an even five foot, and appears like a limber human with lengthy elf ears. Excluding what grime may be stuck to her person, Kyniah leans on the fairer side, with her skin being mostly free of any blemishes. Kyniah's hair, often tied into a short ponytail, is colored a light brown, whilst her irises are a brilliant shade of aquamarine, reminiscent of Azeroth's oceans. Despite devoting herself to Theramore's cause, Kyniah's gear is hardly standardized, being not a fan of the heavy storm silver and/or plate armaments Theramore soldiers use on the field of duty.
Personality
Energetic, with something to prove.
Like many half-elves that came before Kyniah, she strives for acceptance. With racism still strong between the various Alliance races, Kyniah wants to push it all aside in the struggle for a worthy legacy to pass on. Having followed her parents' religion, Kyniah finds herself as a strong believer of the Light. Including her feverish passion for greatness, the teachings of the Light forms the core of Kyniah's being, proving herself as a virtuous warrior. Despite this, Kyniah still holds distrust towards the orcs and trolls, having heard stories of her ancestors' homelands being ravaged by these races years and years ago.
Biography
Born twenty-five years ago as the result of a interracial coupling, Kyniah remembers little of her homeland: the Eastern Kingdoms.
What Kyniah does remember, however, is the constant warfare that took place. Kyniah remembers living in a nameless human city in lands ravaged by conflict, where her elven father would be called to war, only never to return. Human children would often mock Kyniah, claiming that the reason why her father never returned was that because he was an elf, he was weak, and likely was killed by an orc. Often, Kyniah would try to ignore their childish bullying, yet even then, she often found herself roughhousing with those that sought to bully her, and even more so finding herself in trouble because of it.
Still, the warfare and conquest Kyniah had heard plenty of would soon cease once the Alliance were proven victorious against the Horde. The orcs would be placed within internment camps, while the Alliance sent out a contingent to Draenor to defeat what remained of the Horde army. It seemed, for a time, Kyniah and her mother, along with the rest of the Alliance, would be able to live in peace, but they had been wrong. The way to Draenor had been lost, whilst the orcs would break free from their internment camps and form a new Horde. Meanwhile, a plague of undeath would begun to spread from within the kingdom of Lordaeron, raising the populace into undead soldiers.
To many, it seemed like there would be no escape, and even Kyniah's mother had begun to lose hope, much like she did beforehand when her husband would never return to her arms. However, a savior would appear in the form of Jaina Proudmoore, who gathered as many of the surviving populace as she could, and left for the unknown lands of Kalimdor. Realizing that the Eastern Kingdoms were likely doomed in their current state, the Azurestrider family were among those that joined the humans in their voyage across the seas.
