They were volunteers who agreed to have animal DNA mixed with theirs. Some of them were soldiers looking for a way to help reduce the number of lives lost in battle. Some are first responders (cops, fireman, ect) looking for a way save more lives. Some are teenage criminals looking not to end up in prison. Whatever their reasons they agree to the experiment. Scientist spent use years trying to stabilize the volunteers. They finally got to a place where they believe the volunteers can be allowed out of isolation and into training. They must learn to control their shifts, instincts, and animal natures before they are allowed to leave the lab. Today they will start training.

Strength: Fearless, skilled in fighting, cunning, stealthy

Weaknesses: Women, over confidence, and comes off as untrustworthy

Animal: Black Mamba

Bio: Oliver was raised by his uncle, a crime boss, who was one of the most dangerous men in South America. Throughout his youth, he was prepped into becoming his uncle's top man and successor. Trained to be vicious, to be violent, to be heartless. Oliver quickly rose in the ranks handling specific jobs that his uncle handed him to further test his nephew until there was a specific assassination job he wanted Oliver to do. His target, a politician who was trying to bring down the crime family but the assassination attempt was a set up, causing Oliver to be captured and locked away. Which brings us to this point where he was offered to become a human experiment. Something Oliver willfully agreed to take part of.

Strengths: Communication; fighting; academic knowledge; fast and graceful; amazing liar.

Weaknesses: Doubts self often; superiority complex; will openly disagree/show disapproval bluntly; shuts herself down/doesn't open up easily; self-sacrificing.

Animal: Timber wolf

Bio: Addy grew up in a wealthy household, raised by a nanny and rarely seeing her parents. Unless it was for the public image, then they were the perfect little family. Addy hated her life. She never made any friends in her private schools, she never felt a true connection with anybody, so as a result, she threw herself into her studies. She had decided she didn't want to rely on her parents once she turned eighteen. And that, she didn't. She immediately joined the Navy out of high school, something she had been planning since middle school. She didn't look back as she threw herself into her new life. She finally made friends and connections she never had before, but it hadn't lasted long. Not even a year into her service, she got offered to become a human experiment, a promise of saving lives and bettering the world. She agreed, as did a couple of her friends, but she never saw them again.

@KatherinWinter A superiority complex is actually pretending to be superior to hide feelings of failure and feeling below others... so that feeds into her self doubt as well.

@dragonbutts I've read anything that indicated that. I can see her acting superior to hide insecurities. But that isn't the same thing as thinking she's better than everyone.

I am re-purposing a character I made for a RP that never started, if that is fine.

Appareance:
Name: Vita Sirkiene
Age: 19
Strengths: Fast, Focused, No fear of heights, great at jumping, honest, good self-control
Weaknesses: Light bodied, bad at direct combat, blunt, rarely speaks up, stares a bit too much.
Animal: Snowy Owl
Bio: Since she was young, Vita loved exploring the outdoors, it was both interesting and something her family, which did not have the best of finances, could afford. She was quick to join up any group in her hometown which offered such activities and across her teenage years, she never stopped developing such skills, soon working under her government as a ranger. However, when her father suddenly became ill and the treatment was beyond what her family could afford, the girl looked deep into any opportunity she could find, her superior knew of something, one thing led to another, and before she could see she was signing up to some experiments she knew little about.

@KatherinWinter I meam... a superiority complex is different than actually feeling superior. A simple Google search would reveal that. It's plausible she could feel both. Emotions often war against each other. People are complex. But, if it's that big of a problem, I can change it.
