Name: Rainna Rivera

Backstory: Having lost her parents at an early age due to an incident involving a rogue mutant, Rainna, for most of her life, was raised by her older brother, who had developed a resentment for mutants due to the aforementioned mishap. Rainna was at a loss as to what to do on the day she discovered her abilities, but eventually decided to run from her home and out onto the streets when she felt that she could no longer face her brother and guardian.

She was not out there for long, however, thanks to her being at the right place at the right time to stop an attempted robbery of a woman in an alley one night. The woman, who was grateful for Rainna’s heroic act, was distraught to learn that the then thirteen-year-old girl did not have a home and readily took her in. Well aware of the girl's superhuman abilities, Rainna's adoptive mother began to seek out any connection she could to The Academy and enrolled her there. With a new start with young people who were just like her, Rainna continued keeping her past a secret, hoping that her brother would give up searching for her one day, if he has not already done so.

Abilities/Weaknesses: Rainna is able to generate a sweet-smelling mist, similar to floral perfume. However, despite the alluring smell of this mist, it has some hazardous effects. Rainna can produce this mist through her mouth and nostrils at will, and is able to control the concentration of the mist when she does. At lower concentrations, breathing it in can cause headaches, dizziness, and even unconsciousness after prolonged exposure. Her mist in high concentration can cause an acid-like burning to flesh and haemoptysis if inhaled. This can lead to death if not promptly treated. A continuous stream of this highly-concentrated mist can corrode metal and other materials of similar resistance or weaker.

Generating highly-concentrated mist drains Rainna’s energy, causing her to slip into unconsciousness after prolonged use of the ability. Also, the mist will start to break down a minute after it is released into the air, and its effects will then be lost completely.

Personality: Rainna is ever-curious and adventurous. She is usually perky and optimistic as well as warm and friendly, though some may find her lack of consideration for personal space to be rather annoying. Since she can be really comfortable around others, her naturally blunt words may also unintentionally get on one's nerves. She is easily excitable, and her childlike enthusiasm is apparent most of the time. She dislikes negativity and finds joy in cheering her peers up, or at least attempting to. Although she does this with good intentions, it can be to a point that she appears to lack empathy.

Backstory: Dav came from a broken home where he never knew his father and his mother gave him up for selfish reasons being a neighborhood trick and wanting to always get high and drunk. He lives with his grandparents but still was not an easy dealing with a deadbeat uncle and cousins that were assholes. After his powers awakened when he was being attacked by his cousins and dealing with neighborhood goons, he was scouted by someone affiliated with the Academy and offered him an opportunity to be a real someone. After hearing Dav's story, Dav was given a proposal of bringing about justice that he never be able to get before. Thus...this allowed Dav to join the academy, being part of it for about a year now.
Abilities/Weaknesses:
Psychic Constructs: can change psychic energy into tools, objects, weapons and structures. Construct structural strength may be limited by the users will and focus.

Expert in hand to hand combat and melee weapons use.

Skilled in Parkour.

Personality: Usually to himself and seems a bit serious as if he don't like others and rather reserved but despite his demeanor and expression, he's actually quite kind but he has get acquainted enough with someone to trust them and to be more talkative. He'd rather talk things out instead of fighting but would not hesitate to defend himself or anyone else if they are in danger. He has a great dislike for bullying and a soft spot for females. Not that they are his weakness but he has great respect for them. If there's anyone you could rely on, he's willing to show that he's dependable even if it may be an inconvenience to him.

Anzo Chaza

Name: Anzo Chaza

Appearance:

Backstory: Anzo was 12 when the incident happened, it was "Bring your child to work day" at his moms job as a spacial scientist (someone that tries to make teleportation/portal movement possible (idk what I should have called it just roll with it)) at 14:35 they started a test that went wrong and blew up the portal machine making some people disappear on the spot and some people having half of their body disappear making them die a most gruesome death as they feel the blood dripping out of their half heart. But some people survived and these people were either thrown into madness as they saw the terror around them or was too young to understand what happened which is what happened to Anzo. He was later brought to a hospital where they made sure nothing was wrong with him, while doing this they tried making him sleep so that they could run tests on him, while they were trying to stick the needle in him he got very scared and without meaning it stretched out his arm and created a portal in front of him protecting him from the needle and cutting off the arm of the doctor as the portal closed. Since then he has been running from a special squad of the military since then as he was deemed dangerous by them

Abilities/Weaknesses: His abilities is that he can make a portal anywhere around him in a sphere of 2 meters from him, and then create another one really anywhere making travel really easy.

His portals can kind of backfire since he is not trained in using it, Sometimes the portal goes to what you could call a limbo zone where you are stuck in there for as long as 10 days depending on how long he tries to portal away.

Personality: He is kind of a jester, messing with the people he is fighting or fleeing from.
He is a child of the streets so he knows how to fight and how to blend into the background.

He likes to learn new things but doesn't like sitting still or not doing anything so in school, he is usually seen making a momentum trap with his stress balls that he always keeps with him

-Backstory; As they say, there are both good and bad witches, gifted or cursed with inhumane powers, used to either help or torment others. However, Aira tends to hold a different story.

Aira’s family, consisting of her mother and aunt, kept her true nature hidden since the day she was born. Though they knew they couldn't stop the inevitable and would have to confront her about it one day, it was only a matter of time where they had no other choice but to disclose it out of force when Aira was just 16 years old.
One night, she and her mother had been involved in a public assault by strangers, attempting to murder if they don’t do as they are told. Helpless with anger, the girl looked into their eyes with pure demise, feeling the rush of blood boiling up to her ears, only to suddenly witness the next moment where her assaulters burst into flames.
Aira’s panic rose until she watched her mother bravely take a step and chant a prayer-like spell upon the burning figures. The flames shriveled down to reveal not people, but birds that swiftly fluttered away.

It was a long night for Aira. For her to sink in that her ancestral line had consisted of witchcraft and sorcery. That she had powers that she never knew she held. Following events only made young Aira shift from one emotion to another. Hoping it was all just a pure misconception, she attempted to brush it all away, only for things to eventually become worse. What happened that night continued to haunt her in her slumber that she set her own bed on fire. She noticed she strangely felt no discomfort or pain from the flames, only for her aunt and mother to barge into her room in the next moment. Appearing unusually calm in a red, lit up room, she eyes them as they cast a strange spell for the flames to disappear and, what more, for her own room and bed to look as if nothing has happened.

A year passed, both Aira’s guardians believed that with Aira’s curiosity rising above the roof, it would be time for her to go more in-depth with their history as well as gain the chance to properly study an extensive number of spells that she can be capable of performing. And they knew no other perfect place but The Academy. With her new soon-to-be environment, Aira wishes that the path she takes into The Academy will make her into a well-defined witch, or as she prefers to call herself, a sorceress.

-Abilities/Weakness; After the incidents and in a span of a year, Aira was given the chance to study a few numbers of spells taught by her aunt and mother. It takes perfection for a spell to come out successfully, so learning a spell can cost Aira an extensive amount of time and patience to excel.

Aira’s main power is fire which, at times, can have a distinct connection with her emotions. The more she can control herself, the more controlled her powers with fire can be. She can produce fire from her bare hands, make fire disappear and inevitably be a danger if she can get out of control with her feelings. Imagine a whole room bursting into flames because of stress.
Other than being able to perfect and gain strict control over her powers with fire, she was able to perfect other few spells like being able to heal physical pain, make herself shape-shift into a phoenix, and perform telekinesis; being able to control physical elements using her mind and energy, in which this spell can cause great exhaustion for Aira's body when and after being used.

Ironically, water and ice would be one of the few of Aira’s discomforts at times. Other than being able to take a shower, but a bath (and in cold water!!) is a whole other story.

-Personality; Other than curiosity and determination completely enveloping her whole being, she knows there is more to than the idea of witches being evil and performing evil traditions. Aira became more than prepared to risk it all to find out all about her origins. She knew she was far from done.

Young Aira can be a very studious person, burying herself in her studies and work, especially when it involves practicing spells. She can be easily irritated if someone tends to break her train of focus. Other than that, Aira is a warm-hearted dear, someone who you can easily form a light companionship with. A kind, humerous young lady with quite a charming persona. But like all humans with flaws, she can be forgiving, but if you push any wrong-doings on her, best believe she'll find a way to push it all back.

Amphibious: Levi can breath both underwater and outside of water.
Superhuman durability: His body is tough enough to survive at the deepest depths of the ocean.
Leviathan Form: Levi can transform into the giant biblical sea monster known as the leviathan. In this form Levi is granted herculean strength and powerful jaws and razor sharp fangs. He can also fire a beam of oceanic energy, which deals concussive damage as well as damage with a mix of heat and electrical components.
Personality: Levi is religious thanks to his Catholic upbringing and his view of his abilities are that he was blessed from God to protect the oceans from the horrors of the deep. His moral code keeps very close to his Catholic ideals and although he isn't a kill first and questions later type, Levi is a full believer that killing in self defense is completely justified if the situation calls for it.

▾ Name: Monalisa Brooks

▾ Nickname: Mona

▾ Age: Eighteen

▾ Backstory: Mona grew up in a single parent household; her family consisted of her mother, her twin sister, and their pet goldfish. Growing up, Mona had always been an avid music lover; singing was the one thing that kept she and her sister from falling susceptible to all of the unfavorable things that went down in their neighborhood such as gang violence, drugs, and more. Monalisa was thirteen years old when she first became aware of her unique abilities. She'd been practicing for a performance with one of her longtime friends when his eyes suddenly glazed over; as she continued to sing, the boy began to walk closer and closer to Mona, only snapping out of his trance when she stopped. Curious and slightly frightened, Mona ran straight to her mother, who revealed that she, too had this ability, but had hoped that it had not passed down to her children. After running a quick test, it was confirmed that Monalisa had been the only sibling to inherit these powers.

Per instruction from her mother, Monalisa immediately gave up singing; she was to only support her twin sister in her future endeavors rather than pursue her own as well. Mona's mother was scared for her daughter, and believed that this was the only way to prevent another incident from happening, especially on a larger scale. Unbeknownst to her mother, however, Mona stayed in contact with the boy she'd initially entranced over those few years; because he was also interested in seeing what Mona could do, he agreed to let her hypnotize him again. It was during this second session that Mona realized that she could also access people's thoughts and memories, something that only strengthened when she came into physical contact with them. Mona and her friend kept at it for days until the one time Mona managed to slip up; she ended up drastically altering an early memory that the boy had, which had a very negative impact when he went back home to his family.

Mona wanted to reverse what she did to the boy, she truly did. So, unsure of what to do, she went running back to her mother. Unfortunately, Ms. Brooks didn't know how to fix what her daughter had done since she had also been forced to give up singing when she was younger and didn't have the chance to figure out her abilities. However, after doing a lot of digging and making a few connections, Ms. Brooks found an Academy that she decided would help Mona learn how to control and hone her abilities; she figured that it would be better for her to have professional help rather than run more of her reckless little experiments. Mona has been at Skyline Academy for a couple of months; she's mostly been keeping her head down and her mouth shut.

▾ Abilities/Weaknesses: Mona is capable of emitting an astonishingly enchanting singing voice that is capable of hypnotizing/luring anyone who hears it to come towards her. Once within her reach, she is able to "poke around" in their heads; she can read their thoughts and access their memories. She can strengthen this with physical contact, which would then allow her to search the entire mind of her victims and even slightly alter some of their memories. There are a few limitations to Mona's abilities, the main one being that her target must hear the music to be affected; therefore, if someone is deaf or hard of hearing, they will not fall under her trance. Mona must also maintain a certain pitch for her victims to remain under her control; even the slightest change will have negative consequences.

▾ Personality: Unlike the majority of her family members, Mona prefers to keep to herself. She is a textbook introvert; although being a generally friendly and intelligent young lady, she isn't very outgoing or charismatic. She'll only speak when spoken to, preferring to listen, observe, and process what other people say rather than give her own input. Mona is a calm and girl, yet is by no means a pushover. She can surely take care of herself, but is smart enough to know when to pick a fight and when to let something go. She is someone who isn't restricted by other people's opinions, and is always herself regardless of the situation.

Name: Yeojung "Yunnie" Bae

Age: 16

Appearance:

Backstory: Yeojung, or Yunnie, as she would love to be called, was just a toddler when her powers began to manifest themselves to herself and her parents. First it was her eyes. Then her hair. Then, prodded by the family doctor, she promptly turned his coat bright pink--Yunnie LOVES pink--and started to cry, which ended in an entirely pink room that had to be repainted. After this, her parents brought her up quietly, even taking her out of school until she was 16, because she… wasn't very good at controlling herself. You see, Yeojung wasn't quite sure WHY she couldn't show off her power because, the moment, it isn't very dangerous. It's just odd. But still, her parents insisted, which made poor Yeojung more than a little anxious about keeping her power under wraps and started cutting back on how much she used it. Thankfully, an opportunity to actually make her powers useful arises in the shape of Skyline Academy, and Yeojung is very excited to finally meet some people like her.

Abilities/Weaknesses: Yeojung can change the appearance of herself and other things, inanimate or not, but only very superficially, like through color and pattern. It seems to be closer to an illusion than anything, but in some cases it can last for a long time. Most of the time, her power is used for very small things, but logically, the bigger the item, the more energy it takes Yeojung to change it entirely. The time the illusion stays depends again on size and difficulty, and there is a limit to how much energy Yeojung can expend before her powers (and her body) give out.

Personality: Yeojung is bubbly and friendly, but can soon turn anxious under the right circumstances. She wants to show her parents her power is a good thing, as they weren't wild about their daughter having magical powers, and aspires to go into fashion design. She loves pink and glitter and cute things in general.

Name: Adam "Lift" Hill

Age: 17

Backstory:
Living in a city for most of your life will make you paranoid, and for those with super powers, with more then good reason. Adam spent most of his life trying to hide his powers, terrified of what the world might do to him if they discovered what he could do. As a child, he wasn't so good at hiding things. He would often say things and ask questions about things most children would never notice or think about, alongside levitating random objects at the drop of a hat. Sometimes literally.

He was far to perceptive for a three year old, and although his parents were the only ones to know of the telekinetic powers, any time he was jolted, his telekinesis would suddenly launch objects into the air. Many people grew angry with him. They didn't know of his powers, but they didn't like all the questions he was always asking, telling him his 'Meddling' was trouble, and so he began to clam up, until he stopped talking all together, at least until he arrived at the academy. Alongside this he began using his powers less and less. He couldn't turn his enhanced perception off, but he could ignore it, and simply use his telekinetic powers only when need be.

He can learn a lot from others just by interacting with them for a few minutes, which is a bit of a problem. His telekinetic powers on the other hand are easier to deal with, though he doesn't use them much in daily life, even after he was located to the Academy.

Abilities/Weaknesses:

Adam has perception far greater then the normal human being. He can learn far more about people in a few minutes then any Psychiatrist, and he can often piece together a persons motives relatively quickly, which could make him possibly one of the greatest detectives around, though he is far from perfect and has often garnered to much information at once, which gives him a major headache and can often be confused when someone is being far to truthful. He was also granted the power of telekinesis, though he has sometimes hidden this as super strength by lifting an object with his mind, but holding it with one or both of his hands to give the illusion that he's all brawn and no brain. He can lift any non living material under 300 lbs.

Personality:
Although quiet, Adam is a rather interesting person when people get to know him, as he's rather charming and funny, if a bit self conscious and slightly arrogant. He has something against liars, possibly because he see's through almost all lies, and for that reason has a hard time lying himself, leading to many awkward situations. There's a small joke about his telekinetic powers and his last name, meaning some people call him 'Lift' and although he shows some distain for the nickname, he's never bothered to do anything about it. For whatever reason he insists that Trench Coats are 'cool' when others bother him about the one he constantly wears.

Name: Morrigan Dorval
Age: 17
Appearance:
Backstory: Morrigan was your average 11 year old when her and a couple of friends went hiking in the nearby woods with a couple of friends. Her and the friends wandered from the trail, exploring the beauty of nature when they happened upon a poachers trap with a wolf pup stuck in it. They had just managed to rescue the animal when it's mother showed up, teeth bared and fur standing on end. Morrigan and her friends ran trying to get away while the wolf pursued them. Suddenly, Morrigan tripped and fell, as she turned around the wolf mother pounced at her. Morrigan threw up her hands in self defense and an icicle erupted from her hand skewering the beast. Her and her friends high tailed it out of the woods before any more wolves came to attack.

Later that night, at dinner, a loud banging rumbled through the house. Her father answered the door and out on the lawn were about 10 men. One of Morrigans friends told her father what had happened and fearful of what the young girl was capable of decided that she needed to go. That night her parents researched where they could go to keep Morrigan safe. They stumbled across a message board pointing them to the academy.

Abilities/Weaknesses: Morrigan is a cryomancer, she can control and manipulate all things ice. Her record lowest temperature is currently at -180°F, but she can only achieve this after intense focusing. Her average is around -75°F, and can lower the temperature in a 50ft radius usually any source of water around her, even the moisture in the air.

Morrigan is susceptible to fire, she can't stand being near anywhere to warm and tends to constantly keep the air around her at a cool 67°F at all times (about a one foot radius).

Personality: Over the years Morrigan has become more and more distant, earning a cliche nickname ice queen. But if you can get past her defenses she is an intelligent, strong independent woman. She can be fiercely loyal to those she is friends with, despite not letting many people get to close. She does tend to get into trouble with staff for her attitude and the way she talks to fellow students.

Backstory:
Adrien doesn't actually know a lot about his past, with no memories from before 'the accident' that took his body. All he knows is that a little over three years ago, he woke up in an underground laboratory, inhabiting a very basic robotic frame. The lab wasn't in the best condition, something even he could tell through his primitive visors, and it honestly looked like it had been abandoned for years, if not decades.

That was when he met Alexander Lindall, his alleged older brother. The man was a brilliant scientist, knowing more about robotics than anyone else he'd ever met. However, it seemed like something may have been wrong with him, as he confessed to the cyborg that what he had done was more likely than not illegal, hence why he had taken over an old laboratory once owned by some forgotten supervillain to work in secret. This work almost entirely revolved around rebuilding Adrien, the man pouring all his effort and knowledge into creating robotic body parts to try and keep him alive. Sadly, he met failure at every turn, and all he managed to achieve was connecting parts of his brain to an artificial core, eventually building a fully robotic body to insert it into.

For a while, Adrien was incredibly suspicious of Alexander, but as time passed the scientist truly did prove to be a good brother to the cyborg, whether or not the story was true. He helped Adrien get used to his new body, teaching him how to walk and interact with the world again, uploaded information into his brain about all kinds of different subjects, including robotics, and gradually tinkered with and improved his design, with eventually led to the pair designing and building new bodies. However, he wasn't allowed to leave the lab, as Alex wasn't sure he'd be accepted yet, especially given the treatment shown to many mutants.

However, after three years of keeping Adrien hidden from the world, Alex recently learnt about Skyline Academy. It was a risky move, as it would involving sending Adrien half way across the world, but it was also the best hope to let the boy live something close to a normal life. And so, through methods that Adrien still isn't quite sure of, Alex managed to get him and all his additional parts through airport security as luggage, and got him to the academy. After a farewell that, thanks to a lack of tear ducts, was only tearful from one side, Alex left his brother in the hands of the academy staff and returned home, leaving Adrien to try and settle in as best as a socially untested android could.

Abilities/Weaknesses:
Adrien honestly has quite a few abilities. He is naturally durable due to being made of metal, and quite a bit stronger and faster than an average human too. He also never feels fatigue or pain, and doesn't need to eat, drink, or sleep, although he may do something similar to these in order to keep his body powered. In the end though, these all pale compared to the fact that, should there be a task he is currently incapable of, he can always create additional parts that allow him to do it. This can be seen in the fact that he has recently built jets into his legs, arms and back, working both as a sort of 'jump-jet' or just to hit that little bit harder in combat.

Despite this, there are a few glaring weaknesses that he has so far not been able to create countermeasures for, the most blatant of which are EMPs. While his core does have enough shielding that he won't just straight up die from one, he hasn't been able to find a way that he can shield the rest of his body and still be able to move easily, so most EMPs will cause him to collapse on the spot. In addition to this, as mentioned above, he still needs to find a way to keep his body powered properly. He does have multiple ways of taking in energy, such as taking in biofuel, or a pair of small solar panels he can attach to his back, but the most effective way involves a bulky machine he has to connect himself to. He usually does this once every three or so days, and not having access to it will result in a rapid decrease in abilities, until he eventually goes into a kind of 'hibernation mode' to keep his core from running out of energy, at which point the internal life support system keeping the pieces of his original brain would fail, killing him. He also doesn't really like water, because it makes him rust after a while, but whether that really counts as a weakness is up to you.

Personality:
Adrien, as one might expect from a person who has next to no need to eat, is very laid back in day to day life. He is a great believer in the idea that whatever happens happens, and he should try to take each day as a chance to enjoy himself rather than stress over things. He has also become something of an optimist for these very reasons, tending to look on the best parts of a bad situation simply because the bad parts will rarely actually affect him. However, this could easily lead many people to see him as irresponsible, and they'd be right. It also means that he has a fairly hard time putting himself in other peoples shoes, because his priorities are always so different to theirs.

That being said, he isn't completely devoid of empathy, and will try to be friendly to people, especially if he feels like he might have done something wrong.

Name: Aaron "Ronnie" Loche Jr.

Backstory: As far as family life goes, Aaron got off easier than a lot of other people, but wasn't without his worries. His father, Aaron Loche, was a violent felon who'd split on his tenth birthday. Ronnie was often found himself as the object of his aggression, as his father believed Ronnie was a mistake. Early on, Ronnie developed a panic disorder and social anxiety. His father leaving was the best birthday gift Ronnie could ask for. Ronnie had yet to address the effects his father had on him, and Aaron Sr. lurks as a shadow in the back of his mind. Ronnie's older half-brother, Vincent, had been his role model, who'd taken his resentment for his father and used it to fuel his budding career as a policeman. After serving for four years, Vincent took a bullet to his knee in a gang raid, forcing him to retire young and giving him PTSD. Ronnie discovered his powers when he aided his brother with falling asleep and the frequent night terrors. As the years passed, Ronnie took care of the family with multiple part time jobs, while his brother Vincent went to college to pursue a safer dream. One year ago, Ronnie's mom was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer and declined chemo. Refusing to allow him to watch her wither away, she forced Ronnie to attend Skyline Academy. In the wake of her death, Ronnie struggles to return to school and maintain his formerly optimistic outlook.
Abilities/Weaknesses: Somnokinesis
Ronnie has the ability to manipulate aspects of a person's sleep and consciousness.
•At a touch, Ronnie can make his target fall asleep. Ronnie can determine how long and how deep they sleep, and for the most part, does not force people to sleep. His powers also serve to wake people up.
•Ronnie can dreamwalk, but only if he is asleep. Dreamwalking allows him to be inside someone's dream, physically interact with the dreamscape and dreamer, and influence dreams. However, when he dreamwalks into another person's dream, he can't leave until the other person wakes up, and can feel any pain and sustains all damage in a dream. Damage done inside a dream does not apply to his awakened form, but carries into any other dreams he walks into. To heal himself, Ronnie must be healed by a healer in a dream, or go into a regenerative sleep. This can take a long time, depending on how injured he is. If Ronnie dies in a dream, he becomes physically unconscious and unresponsive until his dreamwalking form is healed to a stable state. Ronnie can't dreamwalk while awake, but can watch other people's dreams in his mind's eye. Ronnie is rarely able to influence dreams when awake.
•Ronnie is able to project the dreams he is in into the physical world. This is mentally exhausting to him.
Personality: Ronnie tries to believe there is at least a little bit of good in every person, but time has worn down this childish faith. He truly does want to help people, but doesn't believe he can, often underestimating himself. He has a very dutiful attitude, so whenever he sets his mind on something, he rarely stops until he thinks he's accomplished what he was looking for. Ronnie is very adaptable, and agreeable to the point of being a doormat. Ronnie has a tendency to get lost in his thoughts, making him very absent-minded, a point of frustration to him and many others. He prefers to keep people at an arm's distance, rarely letting them into his personal life. He has an enigmatic, aloof air to him, almost cold at times. While he doesn't intend this, most of the time, he doesn't mind the isolation it sometimes fruits.
Lately, Ronnie has become very withdrawn due to his mother's death, and spends a lot of time in his head. Lately he's spent a lot of time dreamwalking into other people's dreams.
