Hi guys-- Did anyone have dibs on Lust or Envy? I am inspired by this idea and would gladly write for either of them, or potentially Gluttony, depending on what other people want/where I fit best. I'll work on and post a CS for Lust once we get an OOC thread. I think I can do her justice. I'm rusty on forum roleplaying, but if you'll have me, I'd love to join.

In the current age, he appears as a young, white male of an unnassuming demenour. He tends to wear a dress shirt and tie, dress pants, and wire-rimmed glasses. Occassionally, he will wear a matching dress coat. His shoes are leather business shoes.
His demonic form is bestial, strongly remonicent of a canine though no specific type, including dagger like claws and oversized fangs. Massive in size, he stands well over ten feet tall. While in this form, his body ripples with thick muscle and his limbs become longer, equally equipped to carry him upright or on all fours. The jetblack fur that covers him is a stark contrast to his glowing red eyes. In all, his apperance is likely the source of any number of ancient, canine-associated myths, such as wolfmen and black hounds.

13.8 billion years, approximately; Or, just over 6,000, depending on who you ask. He largely doesn't care.

Pre-Sin-hood Biography

He has held the title of Wrath since it was created. Before that, he was counted among the general's of Lucifer's armies. The title of Wrath was given to him as a demotion. When it came time to name the horsemen who would ride out during the end of days, Set believed himself the obvious choice for War. Not only was he not named War, he was not made a rider of any of the horses. In blind fury, he cut a swath of destruction through the rank and file that lasted until Lucifer himself cast him into the deepest, darkest pit in Hell.
In truth, the title of Wrath was given to him as a punishment. A reminder that even the greatest warriors in hell were not above reprisal for foolish actions.

Special Sin ability

Contrary to popular beliefe, his ability is not simply to inspire anger in others. Wrather, he has the ability to look into other people's pasts. Then, he can make people remember whatever events he wants them to remember, and can even alter the way people remember them. Most importantly, though, he can force people to hold onto the memories he creates, cementing them in their minds forever.
With practice, though, he has learned to use this ability to great effect. While he can generally dig up something within anyone that can get them upset, more careful administrations, over time, can accomplish so much more. To him, a sudden, violent outburst of rage is a failure. Instead, he looks to instill the seeds of loathing into his targets, aiming to turn the often overlooked and unnappreciated into gruesome serial killers and devastating terroists.

Lust most often favors the form of a pale and slender blonde woman with a penchant for taut dresses and high heels. She is the inciter, the tease the instigator. Every look is practiced, not a hair out of place. She strides with a purposeful, self-assured demeanor.	Lust's human disguise extends beyond those craving the female form. With perfect hair, a piercing gaze and a knowing smile, he seems endlessly amused by some naughty joke. His suave demeanor is effortless and confident.	Mag'mora's true form is effervescent and ever shifting, but unyielding when she chooses. 'She' has many mouths full of teeth, wispy appendages with claws and pincers, and elongated black wings stitched together from various leathers.

Pre-Sin-hood Biography

Personality & Age

Mag'mora wasn't always so sensational. She crawled from the shadows, the nooks and crannies of the Underworld where collected the soot and grime of lives past. Incrementally, she formed, rolling from den to den, collecting their shorn off pieces and emotions. She liked those. Growing, meandering and assembling the body parts and feelings from other demons, Mag'mora eventually grew into her own power. She could produce any appearance from her little collection. She could cause any emotion to brew and bubble over in those around her. Though destined for greatness, she was accosted by her lessers as they desired their sentimentality back. Ripped to shreds, Mag'mora reassembled herself piece by piece, finding only one passion left: Lust. She grew into this niche just as she had before, engorged with the desires of others given willingly, wantonly, but forsaken by her peers and banished to live among the mortals.

Lust is, as most or all demons, evil. She craves power. However, unlike other demons, she can pry it from mortals and demons alike in the form of their passion, their love, their desires, their desperation. She is cool, manipulative, arrogant, vain and merciless. Mag'mora is one of the oldest of demons, fallen though she has. As soon as there was touch, there was Lust.

Likes and Dislikes	Special Sin Ability
In the absence of direct acquisition power, Lust desires beautiful people and things. She likes precious metals, gems, anything that others seem to put a value in. She enjoys putting on the façade of a delicate creature, woe-beholden to being carried around by her lessers. She dislikes weakness and fools. She has a sharp tongue, a quick wit, and will not abide authority over her.	"Mortals are so easy to play with." Mag'mora possesses a slew of forms, from traditionally attractive and luxuriously sexy to horror-bound and sanity-testing. While she cannot use her power to manipulate the emotions of others as she once could, she certainly has an edge when it comes seducing a mortal to do what she wants.

OOC Notes
Pronouns: While normally I would totally stick to one gender for a character, this creature is something different. She is an abomination of pieces from countless demons and mortals and can manifest however she pleases. I'm using the 'she/her/hers' pronouns predominately, but there might be times when she appears male! Then we can use 'he/him/his' pronouns, or not. It doesn't matter and just to be completely clear: this isn't a commentary about transgender characters and pronoun usage. This is literally a demon.<3
Mature Content: Even though I'm playing literally Lust, don't worry about reading smut! Yes, she'll flirt with everything and make some naughty comments, but that's it. Any sex this character is involved with will only be implied.

Okay, some problems.

For one, I said earlier that the sins were respected, and their titles had value until the last century or so. Set would no longer be a general, yes, but instead much stronger and with more say in what happens until the sins are disregarded.

Secondly, the ability. I said make it reasonable to the sin. Yes, it doesn't have to be inspire humans with that sin, but as I told the holder of Greed, it could be something that only affects that demon.

Work on it a little more please.

I have only one issue, and that is with the pre-sin-hood. She could have been made in a similar way, but ripped apart and cast out? No, the sins had great power, then they lost it when others were more feared and avoided. The sins are demons who gained their title because the demons saw how the made the mortals fear what the caused. Demons looked up to them, but others did hate them, but the sins were just under Lucifer and the Archfiends. Demons would make a plan that took decades to usurp their power. Other than that, I'm fine with her...he...it...thing.

Okay, happy to modify it however. I tried to write vaguely on purpose and I think it'll help when we have the OOC thread for you to put your ideas on paper. It's a little unclear what the significance of Sin-hood is and what leads to that and why these characters have been cast out-- so we can solidify that in the main thread.

In the mean time though, it sounds like as Sins, they are too powerful for the idea of just being overrun by other demons. So maybe there is some meta reason why all of these Sins are being cast out of Hell at the same time? (Like a change of Archfiends or something) That would give all of our characters reason for being on the surface and give us a mutual enemy as we strive to regain our power and return (if that's what we want). What'chu think?

Yeah I agree with that statement. I think it's part of the reason I've been struggling so much to write Ag'thal's pre-sin-hood part of her sheet; we dont really know that much about the workings of the underworld and how all that is supposed to work. I've already made some adjustments to my sheet, but I'm thinking it's still off from what you're looking for.

Because the title was given to over a thousand years prior to modern day, and due to how religion and other trends decline, so did the respect and fame they had in hell. Hence, the titles have become worthless in the eyes of demons.

EDIT: Essentially, the demons, like humans, follow trends just like we do. And when one loses it's fervor, another takes it's place, but it's still there. The sins are no longer regarded in the modern world, and new evils take their place, but they are still there.

Like old actors and celebrities.

Hell works a lot like our world. But think of it like Hollywood. Celebrities rise and fall, and often replaced by who people want or like. The sins got were like the superstars, Lucifer the executive producer, the archfiends the board, and everyone else filling different roles based on what as needed. But hell is a lot less lawless, demons breaking the rules all the time. And Demons who are jealous or hateful towards the Sins, thinking they deserve the spotlight, plotted and fought their way to where they were in the prime situation to through the sins of their pedestals. The sins , angry, depressed, and betrayed, had nowhere to go but the deepest parts of hell. This Rp is them going to the mortal plane, or our world, to start life anew, causing some hell all the while, and dealing with challenges they've never had to deal with before.
