Area(s) of Expertise: ⟡ Main Dancer - Dance has always been her passion and she plans to never let that go. ⟡ Sub Vocalist - She isn't good at high notes or stuff like that, so sub vocalist will put her voice range in the perfect spot. ⟡ Rapping - Not being good at high notes had unlocked her talent for rapping. ⟡ Fake Maknae
Appearance:
Jiwon's face is considered a visual in most cases, though since standards continue to grow many do surpass her as the role of visual. Her body is very fit and athletic from being part of a dance troupe as she was growing up, this does give her the much needed endurance that the company requires for trainees. She's quite noticeable because of her rather fair skin, her hair colour changes from time to time but it remains straight, sometimes with a fringe and sometimes without. Her distinct facial features would be her button nose, and cute little smile, her cheekbones, and her dimples. Jiwon stands at 164 Cm or 5'5" which is average for women of her age from where she's from, and weighing around 108 lbs,
Fashion wise, Jiwon is often seen with a exposing skin when performing since her body type fits it very well. But other than that, her outfit is standard female Korean fashion that she switches up every now and then. For someone who has a an obvious love for hats, she doesn't wear a lot but when she does she pulls it off really really well. Jiwon has a pair of glasses and contacts that she switches from every now and then, but contacts are more proficient when performing, her glasses are those thin and round frame ones, but since her lifestyle is a bit too active with performing and stuff she doesn't really want to break it by dancing or training, so she's often wearing contacts.
Personality:
"Captain 4D reporting for duty!" In the company, Jiwon is known for her eccentric, and strange ways of thinking that always seems to surprise the people in the company; one time she hung a folding chair on each shoulder while doing a run-through of a dance routine, she said that conditions the arms so that it won't be stiff during actual performance. though Jiwon is someone who has a large amount of potential to be the center or even just wow the stage from a fan making a quick fancam. Her allure to those who look at her seems to always catch people off guard since people quickly undermine her after seeing her.
Jiwon is a people person, she loves people and loves meeting them or even just doing cute little things for her fans to enjoy. Though, Jiwon's off-stage personality is much different to her on-stage personality; Off-stage, she's someone who's very approachable and easy to talk to, hell she'll even initiate conversations most of the time, always making people smile to every little thing she does, some even say her smile is the most contagious thing in the world, but on-stage she is someone who is serious and only ever smiles the song is lively. Jiwon is definitely someone worth keeping, just for her people skills alone
Jiwon does get upset pretty often when people neglect her after she's given all she's got. She's not really good at hiding emotion, and would most likely express herself when the cameras are off or when she's away from the crowd. Though, it is quite easy to cheer her up, and figuring that out is practically the fun part.
History:
Growing up in Daegu, South Korea, Jiwon was lucky enough to have a supportive family in her career choice, A strong-willed but loving father, a caring but yet stern mother, an older sister who she could talk to and a younger brother who looked up at her and her sister. The Kim family has always been very supportive of each other, even until Kim Joohyun (the mother) got sick. Jiwon was around 15 at the time, and her mother kept regretting that she won't be able to see Kim Yoona's (Older Sister) graduation in time. It was a sad time, but Jiwon continued to stay positive since her mother would have loved it if she kept following her dream.
In school, Jiwon excelled in her academics, always somewhere around the top 10 while maintaining her ranks as the leader of the dance club in her school. She was the one to carry them to victory and teach them the things they wouldn't know; like the club's Noona/Unnie, she was very sweet to those who joined the club to show their prowess in dancing. She would always tell them to do well since she wouldn't always be in the school to teach and be dance captain. She told them that as long as they enjoyed themselves and gave it their all, it wouldn't matter if they win or lose.
Jiwon did graduate from high school, and moved on to have her one year in college. Why the one year? Well it was during that year where she had joined the university's dance troupe and competed in an interschool competition and it was there where someone had filmed their performance and it went viral due to school's well coordinated choreography as taught by their current leader at that time and a little bit by Jiwon herself. This video going viral has AS Entertainment scout her before calling her in for an audition.
In her audition, she had gave it her all with dance and was accepted mostly for it. She's been training for 4 years now, so do not dare underestimate her since she knows what she's doing now.
Extra: ☼ Her family visits whenever they can, especially her older sister Yoona.

☼ Jiwon has a cat back home named "Bong Bong." ☼ Jiwon is fluent in English, she learned English from watching gaming channels. ☼ Jiwon loves gaming. ☼ Jiwon has a phobia of snakes (Ophidiophobia).
"Give me all your tears and worries, and I'll make it go away!"
added at the bottom of the character sheet template is another section for relationships. do with that as you will. it's more of a add-on than a requirement; as the story progresses it'll get more attention.
we good? good. i'll be working on the IC post, aiming to post Thursday after I've gotten fat and can no longer move. see you then!
Area(s) of Expertise: ⋗ Main Vocalist - Known for his Angelic voice, Hyunjin sings very well. ⋗ Guitar - His instrument of choice, and what he used in audition tape. ⋗ Rapping - Raps as an off hand thing next to being a vocal. ⋗ Sports - Specifically Badminton and Tennis ⋗ Visual - "They call me supahawtboi and by they, I mean me." ⋗ Speaking in English ⋗ "I used to slay dragons before I became a singer" ⋗Paying for food
Appearance:
When Hyunjin was in a band when he was growing up, he was always the face of the group in their self made promotions and posters. He was always classified as the thinnest person in the group even though he always worked out and ate a healthy diet. People do see him as the visual because his jawline and his appeal to the crowd when he was lead guitar in school concerts and small gigs in bars and pubs. He has rather smooth skin with a fair complexion, his hair changed whenever it has the chance, "Hey! It’s not my fault my hair has a mind of it’s own!" And since he was born with his hair down, it usually stays that way in a messy, sexy way. Mr. Jawline puts himself well, with small lips, a toothy smile and a pair of glasses. He stands at 182 Cm or 6’0” flat, which might make him one of the taller ones in the company, and he weighs around 143 lbs, he doesn’t really want to say, because he threatened to eat all of the pudding in the fridge if he was asked that question again.
When it comes to fashion, Hyunjin’s outfit always brings out how thin he is with all the sweaters, hoodies and jackets that are quiet prominent in his wardrobe. Then again, he does rock everything he wears, from jean jackets over hoodies to sweaty sleeveless shirts and ripped jeans. Hyunjin’s signature is probably his pair of glasses that he rarely takes off, it just looks so good on him. Though Hyunjin does love his coats and jackets, they almost act as a signature look for him, he rarely wears anything light because he never saw himself a dancer but he knew that would change as soon as he became a trainee.
Personality:
" You find me on twitter, I tweet a lot of cool stuff like my face.” Even with the amount of boasting he does, it’s all in good fun since he’s just trying to make people laugh. He’s that type of person who is happy when his friends and will never be the reason for people to not be happy, he kinda vowed that during his 7th birthday. Hyunjin does find joy in other people’s happiness, his mood always seems to match the room unless it’s gloomy, in this case he tries to lighten up the mood.
Hyunjin does get angry every now and then, and his anger always seems to be spoken in full korean. He rarely gets angry and cusses in Korean, especially since he grew up in California. Though an angry Hyunjin doesn’t stay angry for longer than a day, since he’s really good at not letting such things affect him but instead makes it into an inside joke to the person he got angry with. He refuses to be rude to people even when some are rude to him, he just has to share his happiness with the world.
Hyunjin does get a bit silly sometimes, always joking and doing silly things when it comes to it. Though he isn’t a 4D person, he is a comedian to his friends and those who he sees would like to be entertained. It’s just Hyunjin being Hyunjin.
"I remember the good times..."
History:
Hyunjin was born in Seoul, South Korea with an absent father but a caring mother and a kind hearted older sister, his father had to work oversees in California while the two lived their lives in Korea. Later on, the two did move to California to live with the father which meant that Hyunjin grew up with English instead of Korean. As the family continued to grow, Hyunjin mostly learned his Korean knowledge from his mother and sister. He preferred speaking in English instead of Korean, but his sister states "He's not that good at speaking Korean in general but he becomes really fluent when he's angry for some reason."
In school, Hyunjin was always in the middle of class, never reaching top 10 or anything in the failing area, but he did just average - he was doing this while juggling learning how to play guitar and his passion for singing and he even joined the acoustics club because of it; when he was a new member the club had a leader that he would call Hyung even though no one in the club spoke Korean other than him, and this person who he called Hyung had mentioned that Hyunjin had the most potential to be a singer someday due to his personality and overall appeal to everyone.
Hyunjin graduated from high school, and moved on to a music college. While he was in that college, his love for music continued to grow, up to the point where he started a youtube channel and posted covers of English and Korean songs pretty often. That was how AS Entertainment found out about the young Hyunjin, this was how he got scouted, and how they wanted him to audition since he had a lot of potential. Since he was in California, he asked his parents if he could just try. He then flew there with his sister and went to the company to audition.
His audition was mostly covers but it expressed his voice with the use of guitar and the company loved his visual and his voice so he was accepted. Since his family lives so far away, he now lives in the dorms of AS Entertainment. His 4 years of training continues and he hopes to debut soon.
Extra: ⋗ He has a very supportive older sister named Jiyeon (지연).

Personality
Yun-Seo is a complex person, and it would be unfair to call her anything else. She was once upon a time a bright eyed and bushy tailed young child, who idolized the idea of being an idol. To her credit, she stayed that way for a long while. It’s part of the reason why she was so happy to start her training at the ripe young age of 10, with the blessing of her parents — who were in love with the idea of having a famous and successful daughter. They pushed her and helped mold her into what she eventually became.
By the time she turned sixteen, Yun-Seo became something of a control freak. Perfect, she felt, was no longer good enough. A true product of her upbringing, Yun-Seo was told by her parents, her trainers, and everyone else in her life that needed to be flawless, and the end result is someone who craves control and has a commanding and domineering enough of a personality to take over in most situations.
Once upon a time obsessed with the idea of being an idol, Yun-Seo has come to the realization that everything about idol culture is manufactured and fake, from the way they’re meant to wear revealing clothing while pretending they don’t know what sex is, to the way they have to pretend to be everyone’s flawless best friend. It’s a bit much, and it’s something she’s grown bored of. While in public facing interactions, she projects the perfectly manicured personality of a future idol superstar, she’s a bit different in private interactions.
It boils down to, in one short sentence: Yun-Seo is bored. Bored with her life choices, bored with the people around her, bored with the schooling, bored with the act she has to put on. It’s boring. She’s so bored, in fact, that she’s close to quitting the entire thing. Why not? She’s declined offers to join groups before — she’ll be in charge or she’ll be nothing — and no one has suggested she form her own. What’s the point?
She’s something of a callous person to her peers around AS Entertainment, because she struggles to care and stay motivated. She finds entertainment in the way of being a bit of a ‘psychopathic, control freak, four shades of crazy bitch.’ (not her words)
Once incredibly dedicated and driven, Yun-Seo does what she does now as a job first and foremost, not really a passion as it once was. A job she’s good at, yes, but she very much takes a ‘clock in, clock out’ perspective on it now. Why put forth the extra effort? The saddest part of the whole thing is, at this point, Yun-Seo isn’t good at anything else — if this doesn’t work out, she doesn’t know where her life will be heading.
She has a plan, of sorts, to revitalize herself and her opinion on the whole situation.
Background
Yun-Seo was born to a poor family in small farming village in South Korea. It was her mother’s idea that she be pushed to become an idol, and as a young girl, Yun-Seo wasn’t about to say no! Why would she? She grew up loving idol groups after all — if she had the chance to be one, then she would have been stupid not to seize it. Starting at the age of ten Yun-Seo began the intense training it took to become one of her childhood heroes. This consisted of being sent to several specialized classes throughout her childhood, including English classes, one or two acting classes (she was never a fan — it’s the lowest rung on the ladder, in her opinion), dance classes, classes on how to take care of herself, and of course, various music classes.
At age thirteen, it became clear that Yun-Seo excelled in one particular section of her idol training: singing. She had a voice that projected well, has a large range, and she picked up breath control without much effort. With proper training, Yun-Seo could have been headed elsewhere based on her singing voice alone, but her mother had a very specific roadmap in mind for her daughter, and Yun-Seo didn’t focus on developing her voice as much as she would have liked. Yun-Seo, to this day, has aspirations of embarking on a solo career where she can sing.
Yun-Seo worked as hard as she could, and by the time she was sent to AS Entertainment, she had a foundation of sorts to work with, and she was successful at AS from the start. She was good at the Academy at first, though she had a goal in mind: leader or nothing. She, in her mind, was made for it. Good at everything, weak at very little, and top of the class in at least one box. If she wasn’t the leader, then she simply wouldn’t be anything.
That is the main reason why Yun-Seo is still a trainee, settling for nothing less than the absolute best has held her back some, but she doesn’t care at this point. She’s had a falling out with her parents over this; her mother believed she should take the opportunities laid in front of her, while Yun-Seo was steadfast and determined to be a leader of a group, not simply a member. She hasn’t spoken to them since, and has no intentions to — if anyone asks, her parents are dead.
After four years at AS, and still not getting what she wanted, Yun-Seo is done with the whole situation — it felt pointless. In fact, at her lowest point, she may have joined a group — but she luckily found her motivation again, after spending some time focusing on the last part of this she enjoys: vocals and singing. With a renewed vigor, she decided that she’d just do it.
Yun-Seo uses most of her free time now to record singing on her own time, and analyzing her peers. She’s decided that she’s going to make her own group, handpicked by herself of course. Yun-Seo will be an idol; she’s just going to do it her way, and everyone and everything else can get bent. Whether or not the managers and people above her approve of it or not isn’t her primary concern.
OKAY. now, before you get to posting, i'll explain a teensy bit more. first, just put in your opening posts--no need to go on to performances just yet. once you guys have situated yourselves, i'll post again and get the ball rolling.
i'm thinking, once we start solo performances, i'll call somebody's character up, and once they're done, they call up another character up, and so on... does that sound okay?
