Elder Tales was originally an American MMORPG created by Atharva Inc., a Los Angeles-based company. Over time, as Elder Tales popularity grew, the number of servers expanded up to 13, when Elder Tales became a fully-global MMO with a server on every continent. Each server has its own company running the game, coming up with their own special events, classes, and subclasses. However, transferring to another server is as simple as taking a Teleport Gate or a Fairy Ring to another server, having no restrictions. Furthermore, to allow better communication between players, there is a highly-accurate automatic translator that works even for voice chat.
The world of the game, Theldesia, is based on ours only at half scale, mirroring many cities and landmarks in it’s own unique style. It is built on what is essential a post apocalyptic earth with run down, overgrown buildings and skyscrapers littering the land.
Elder Tales functions as most MMO’s, offering the player to choose a race, class, and one of several subclasses that are usually roleplay centric. In this RP, Race won’t have very much impact other than character appearance, but Class and Subclass have benefits worth pondering. Our story: It has been about a month in game since the apocalypse, which refers to the event on May 3, 2018 that trapped all players who were logged in inside of the game. It was triggered by the release of the game's twelfth expansion pack, Homesteading the Noosphere. Among its most immediate effects was trapping over several hundred thousand players worldwide. The NPCs, known as Landers or People of the Land, were also affected by this incident. Depending on the perspective, either they suddenly gained memories, personalities and backgrounds. Things were rough at first, with no idea whether one would respawn anymore and all the food tasting bland and all liquids tasting of water, but over time the adventurers adapted. Cooking foods without the in game menu gave them flavor and a brave, stupid, or suicidal adventurer discovered one could even respawn.
In the last month, the people of the land have gotten more bold and bitter toward the adventurers, players are in disorder and have taken to killing others as opposed to the monsters, and guilds have started becoming the pseudo government. One guild, Neon Colossus, headed by the Elven Summoner with the Noble subclass known as Parks, is known for ruling alongside several other guilds that act as a pseudo-government for the area known as the Cleftlands, near the great lakes. Other guilds in this alliance include an formerly purely roleplay guild known as The Knights of Bahamut who take Lawful good to new levels and act as the police of the city, headed by Platinum Knights who act as sheriffs, and several other crafting, raiding, and merchant guilds, none with more power than another.
When making a character, feel free to make them the head of a guild other than Knights of Bahamut or Neon Colossus or just a member of one or even guildless! Feel free to be any level, 1-92 as very few will have had time to get higher without socially isolating themselves and hard grinding. Being in a guild will have no affect on your power level in game. You can even make a Lander character who just happens to hang out with us, or even a Lander turned adventurer.
In the wake of an event that happens every december, players are taking advantage of a recurring quest where the landers send out gifts to be delivered by adventurers for a small amount of experience. The problem is, these presents were usually represented as mules with bags of gold, weapons, armors, and potions that the players would get a cut of upon delivery. Without the game mechanics that would normally bar access to these inventories without completing the quests, the adventurers have started accepting the gifts and taking them for themselves leaving the people of the land upset, the monsters spawned by the quest left to roam, and has only increased player killing for the promise of nearly free rewards.
The North Wen Alliance has started enlisting scribes to post wanted posters for known player killers and some adventurers find this cruel, as dying means losing your memories. Unrest among adventurers, landers, and monsters alike is at an all time high this holiday season. Can our brave group manage to calm the server with the highest population in the game?

Guild Title: Neon Colossus Leader: Parks Type: Roleplay/Generic Guild Description: Neon Colossus was a guild built around the idea of RPing life in the world of Elder Tales. It was headed by a Noble who had achieved the King tier of the Noble subclass and GMed the roleplay to be based around issues in his kingdom. It's 300+ members would go on raids and perform fake quests for the other nobles and players of the guild to keep the game exciting in the endgame beyond the fashion component of it. Post Apocalypse: After the apocalypse, only 106 members were logged in and of those only 30 or so decided to continue their characters into their new life. This left Parks with a small band of followers and knights that he mostly orders around as equals, no longer fully acting as a king due to these people no longer just being avatars on a screen.
Neon Colossus has taken to Lander relations more than ever, due to their history speaking of Parks as a King among the adventurers and therefore a sort of leader. He explains that his kingdom is small but they assume he is modest. He has since embraced this title and while in the presence of Landers plays up his lordship in order to assist in negotiations. Among Adventurers, he's nothing more than the leader of an RP guild.
Username: Ch0p Ch0p "Chopper" Real Name: Ntaj Yaj Gender: Female (In Game), Male (Out of Game) Age: 22 Race: Ritian Class: Youxia Subclass: Food Fighter Level: 76 Appearance:
Background: Ntaj was just a young college student playing Elder Tales when the apocalypse happened. He didn't have much going on with him; he was just an average Joe playing games for fun. Something of a roleplayer, though he's never really stuck to a community long enough to be remembered. His only noticeable trait is his love for sea food; a big fan of sushi, crustaceans, and other barnacles. There is something about him however that's not quite normal; before the apocalypse happened he was using a VPN to take his characters into different servers in order to obtain unique items in different dungeons for his build. He was in the middle of one such excavation when the Apocalypse happened, trapping him in the America server. Stuck in America, he's now gotta figure out what to do with himself.
In Game History: So far things aren't too bad here in America. Having already obtained 3/5 of the items he needs for his build, he's been debating journeying to the other lands to obtain the rest of his equipment. However travel is difficult due to the turmoil across the land; even if he tries to travel on his own, he'll often get overwhelmed and forced to retreat or even killed. And so now Ch0p Ch0p, also known as "Chopper", has been doing mercenary work in an attempt to form a party willing to accompany him on his world-wide treasure hunt.
Guild/Position: No Guild
Personality: Easy going but ambitious. Chopper doesn't seem to have much in the ways of a goal in life, but when he sets his sights on something, he'll often go above and beyond to obtain it. Still he keeps himself in check and tries not to get obsessed over things out of his reach. He has enough self-awareness to realize when it's time to work on long term goals and when it's time to accomplish short term things. Doesn't particularly care for politics in the sense that he'll get involved, but if asked he would have some passionate opinions about it. A darker side of him is a manipulator and cheater; all too willing to spread rumor and insults about others, but doesn't have the courage to face them head on. At least not without stacking the odds in his favor first. A self-proclaimed liar who enjoys the paradox of telling honest lies to mess with people, obfuscate his true purpose, and generally try to seem more interesting than he isn't. Rather enjoys being a girl too.
Class Skills: Vacuum Slash - A weak range attack that sends out a blade of air pressure, good for getting the attention of foes too far to attack in melee. Big Whirlwind Slash - A melee AoE attack that does heavy damage to all foes around Chopper, though it has a long cooldown. Whirlwind Vacuum Slash - A wide-range AoE attack that causes enemies around Chopper to become paralyzed for a few moments. Also a very long cooldown. Dihngwōng Fósehk - A unique ability from the Youxia class. This ability allows for rapid fire strikes that, while doing no additional damage, will guarantee to hit the opponent first even if Chopper and her opponent attack at the same time or even if her opponent is statistically faster than her. Highly accurate and has a high priority over other attacks. Can be chained with other skills. Màahngon - When Chopper strikes an enemy with this skill, it changes their health equal to Chopper's own percentage, even if she is at a higher health then her opponent. Useful for against allies an enemies; if she's at low health she could strike an enemy with this attack and make them just as wounded as she is, or if she's at high health she can hit an ally and bring them up to her strength. However this ability has a long cool down. Gitsaht - A passive ability. If Chopper is brought down to 0% health when she is at 100% health, she is instead brought down to 1% and can immediately retaliate with a single attack or ability. She cannot use this ability again however until she is back to 100% health. Sīnchéung Sīnyìhng - A counter skill, if Chopper is being attacked by a melee skill, she can immediately cancel the skill and attack using the same skill. However it has a very long cool down and can't be used on the same skill twice in a row. Sīnkyut - A defensive skill that allows Chopper to know specifically what kind of attack is going to be aimed at him and increase his dodge chance to avoid it entirely, even if it's an Area-of-effect attack. While it has a low cool down, successive use of this ability deceases it's effectiveness and making any sort of offensive move will remove all the evasion bonuses.
Subclass Skills: Glutton - Consume items faster. Iron Stomach - Nullifies the effect of poison. Taste of a God - Appraise items by their taste.
Theme song:
Equipment: Dragon's Enlightenment - A unique set consisting of five items: Gauntlets, Boots, Headgear, Body Armor, and a Cloak. Each item comes with a unique ability and a skill, however these features can only be used when the character is using no other items except ones part of the Dragon's Enlightenment. However they can use weapons and accessories unrelated to the set without incurring these drawbacks. Thus, Chopper has less-than-normal stats due to not using any sort of body armor or cloak accessory, otherwise she won't gain the benefits of her current incomplete set.
Dragon Roar - A unique head armor that gives her winged dragon ears. While wearing this armor she has a heighten sense of sound but also a greater resistance against sound-based effects such as sonic attacks or magic songs. This helmet also gives Chopper a unique skill called the Dragon's Roar which is a wide range AoE that causes the enemy to become deafen and fearful. It has a very long cooldown. Wyvern's Might - A unique pair of gauntlets shaped like a dragon's claws. These claws allow Chopper to do unarmed strikes with her claws. In addition these gauntlets have a skill called Wyvern's Might which allows Chopper's melee attacks to do at least 2% of damage equal to the enemy's health even if their skills or abilities would have otherwise nullified the damage. It has a very long cooldown. Wyrm Step - Unique leg armor that actually mutates the body so that Chopper grows a tail. While the tail lacks prehensile ability, it can be used to help maintain her balance and gives Chopper a bonus for anything requiring acrobatics or maintaining her balance. The unique skill of the Wyrm Step allows Chopper to choose a specific target, and towards that target Chopper will move so quickly that they cannot use counter or retaliation attacks against her. Has a short cooldown, however it can only be used on one target at a time.
Shell Bell - An uncommon low level items that introduces the idea of health absorption for aspiring Scarlet Knights. Attacks made by the user equipped with a Shell Bell restores health equal to 1/8 of the damage dealt. Fairly weak compared to higher tier accessories, but it's the only one that Chopper needs thanks to it's low rarity making it easy to stockpile.
Bardiche - A seemingly plain bardiche. While magically enchanted to do additional damage and being more durable, there isn't really anything unique about it. Chopper just likes it and hopes to one day find some way to upgrade it into something more fearsome.
Fun Facts: Chopper's primary goal is to seek out the Dragon's Enlightenment, a set of five items that will grant her great power when they're all used together. Currently she has obtained the helmet, gloves, and boots. All she needs now is the armor and the cloak. The only trouble is that each piece is located in different country-locked servers; ideally Chopper can trade for them, however now she needs to personally go and travel to these distant lands if she wants to complete the set. Chopper's real character, Ntaj, currently lives in Thailand and has been altering his VPN in order to freely switch to different servers around the world to make it easier for him to get the items, but alas he was in America when he got stuck in the game. He first obtained the Wyvern's Might in the Chinese Server, the Dragon's Roar in the Yamato Server, and the Wyrm Step in the North America server. He knows the cloak is in the West Europe Server, however the chest armor he isn't too sure about. Last he heard before he was stuck in Elder Tale was that it could be found in the Russian server, but he never found out where or how.
Ch0p Ch0p isn't the only account Ntaj has. He actually had a few Bot accounts that were also being used when he got trapped in the Elder Tales. He's not sure what happened to them and he's never found them. Last he knew was that they were in the Chinese Server gold farming.
I am interested in this RP, I will try and have a cs up by Thursday at the latest, I want to learn more about the source material to see how it all works first so I started the anime because it is Def something that interests me
Username: C4ss10 "Cassio" Real Name: William Jones Gender: Male Age: 38 Race: Half-Alv Class: Swashbuckler Subclass: Swordsmith Level: 90 Appearance:
Cassio's avatar appears to be a younger male with gray hair. He wears simplistic clothing that seems to resemble business attire. In fact, Cassio refuses to wear actual armor, instead using magical items that are modified to appear mundane. He keeps this relatively unassuming presence to allow opponents to underestimate him, while also giving him the added presence of having to rely almost entirely on pure skill to accomplish his goals.
Background: Will first learned of Elder Tales when he was a senior in high school. Him and his friends signed up early on for the Beta, and were able to secure decent usernames as a result. Will was a Shakespearean nerd, choosing a relatively obscure Othello reference as his username. The kids ended up forming a guild on the MMO called the Arcanian Vanguards so that they could stay connected when life tore them away physically. They were about twenty-five strong at the most. By the time of the Catastrophe, there were only eleven active members of the guild.
Outside of playing Elder Tales, Will was the "Community Development Manager" for his alma mater's theater department. He had graduated from the university with degrees in advertising and film. He was a husband to his high school sweetheart (and former member of the Guild), and had two children. He would dedicate as much of his spare time as he could playing Elder Tales to ensure that he could keep his levels up for raids. He was the first to reach the level cap in the guild, and is considered one of the best Swordsmiths on the server before the Catastrophe.
In Game History: The greatest disappointment Cassio faced during the catastrophe was realizing that no members of his guild were online. His friends, most of whom he'd known since childhood, were completely separated from him. Being the only online member of the Arcanian Vanguards, Cassio quickly disbanded the Guild and moved to start a new guild, The Blades. He reached out to every Swordsmith he could locate through his contacts, and started up the relatively small guild. He's spent most of his time training up his members in Swordsmithing, while also working to begin his slow climb upwards through fighting and adventuring.
Guild/Position: Guild Master of the Blades
The Blades is the premiere Swordsmith guild of the North American Server. Will, upon realizing his other friends weren't online, started the guild shortly after the start of the Catastrophe in order to keep himself busy and in an attempt to grant any Swordsmiths the chance to train and gather together to develop their skills and trade their products. The Guild is relatively small, given how unpopular the Swordsmith subclass is.
Number of Members: 28
Personality: Cassio is highly trained and regimented in regards to his play-style. He is a min-maxer, and has dedicated himself to optimizing his skills and mastering his craft. As a result, Cassio seemed distant to most when he played "for fun" over the years. More recently, Cassio's nature as a father has become more apparent. He is nurturing of the skills of lower-level players, taking as many in under his wing over the past month. When he interacts with other guilds or participates in quests, his old tendencies to communicate only when necessary and focus solely on completing the objective reign supreme.
A Goal that he has placed for himself is to create two swords that have been deemed only a rumor: the Sun Blade and the Moon Blade. Some minor rumors in dialogue trees, minor quests, and deep diving into game files years ago hinted that they could exist. Part of Cassio's reason for establishing The Blades was to determine if it was possible and how these twin blades could be crafted or located. He's recently picked up a reliable lead, but it would require journeying far from his guild's current location to pick up specific components.
Swashbuckler Skills: Early Thrust: A skill that can only be used when a combat encounter first begins, or before it begins. Does a moderate amount of damage, and places three marks. Razor Edge: Interrupts a target's casting of a spell. Moderate cooldown. Places a mark. Viper's Thrash: A powerful DOT (Damage over Time) skill that forces bleed damage and reduces the target's accuracy. Places a mark. Snake Bites: Reduces Target's Accuracy. Can stack up to 4 times on each target. Places a Mark Lightning Step: Teleports user behind target in a flash of light. Moderate Cooldown. Whirlwind: Basic AOE attack that deals moderate damage to nearby enemies. Moderate Cooldown. Cheap Trick: Concentrated attack that deals moderate damage quickly and interrupts target's action. Often used as a powerful swashbuckler counter move. Moderate-Long Cooldown. Places a mark. Thrust Joker: Powerful Thrust move that deals moderate damage and high DOT with powerful Bleed damage. Can only be chained as a counter when user receives damage. Long Cooldown. Places a mark. Round Windmill: Large AOE Move. Sees the user jump into the air and perform a high number of critical slashing attacks while mid-air. Useful in clearing out mobs or dealing a massive amount of damage to a boss. Has a long cooldown, and causes a long "freeze time" for user after triggering. Break Trigger: Finishing Move that causes all markers on all enemies to detonate at once. Markers are typically placed due to other, minor skill attacks. High Cooldown time.
Swordsmith Skills: Forge's Flame: Minor Fire Resistance as a result of constantly working with blades. Passive. One with the Blade: Minor stat boost to attack and defense stats when wielding blades. Passive. Master Sword Crafting: Can craft nearly any sword in the game, so long as the crafting components are found and the recipe is known.
Racial Skills: Analyzer: You are an expert in artificial weapons created in ancient times. Unlike the descendants of its former creators, the Alvs, these machines can only be used for destruction. Dimension Walker: An expert in the Alv's transitory magic, you can freely control distance by sensing the world's fluctuations. Native Operator: You're a natural at operating various tools, from machines to apparatuses. Its complexity doesn't matter; you can use a steering carriage to an ancient Alv defense mechanism. Parallel Mind: A skill where your thoughts run in a parallel, separating your physical movements from your mind when hit with a bad status. Progressive Relic: You have a high affinity for consumable items said to come from ancient Alvs. You can even use complex items that cannot be used by other races.
Equipment:
Flash Lindworm: A pair of powerful and beautiful phantasmal-class dueling swords. Required components that took months of raiding in order to then be crafted within the past month as Cassio achieved the former cap in his Swordsmithing skill.
Gloves of the Duelist: Increases damage dealt by Early Thrust, and increases the damage and radius of explosions for Break Trigger.
Boots of the Rushing River: Decent boots that increase the movement and attack speed of the wearer, but penalizes the wearer if he stops moving to change direction. Once a gimmick item that now sees great use during the Catastrophe with the more streamlined "control" over the game.
Theme song:
Fun Facts: Cassio's username is a reference to the character "Michael Cassio," a character from Shakespeare's Othello. Will had spent much of his high school and collegiate life involved in performing with Shakespearean theater companies, and his first role was as Cassio.
Note: the Character sheets getting posted in the characters tab have been approved by me via discord or DM, post them here or DM me if you have questions and I'm almost always in the discord!
Username: BurntBlackBlademaster “B3” Real Name: Delilah Lee Gender: Male (In Game), Female (Out of Game) Age: 17 Race: Elf Class: Assassin Subclass: Poison User Level: 24 Appearance:
Background: Delilah was just joining Elder Tales on recommendations of her friends who wanted to start an assassins guild, what with her and her friends being total edgelords. It was pretty fun at first and her group enjoyed being “assassins”, but only Delilah seemed to stick to the theme. It wasn’t long before the rest of her friends either stopped playing Elder Tales or just started doing things other than assassinations, causing her to seek out new friends. It was hard though as most groups were too high level and wanted nothing to do with a newbie with delusions of grandeur, thinking her methods of assassinations were weak compared to simply doing as much as damage possible as an assassin should. But those people were singing a different tune once the Apocalypse struck...
In Game History: When Delilah ended up stuck in the Elder Tales, she was fearful at first. However thanks to her class abilities she was able to avoid the chaos initially, and her skills in poisoning became a much more notable ability. Players, unable to taste food, could be easily tricked into consuming poisons which left them debilitated and weakened for Delilah to steal and kill from. She began to rob and assassinate people for personal gain until one day she was caught. But instead of getting killed she got hired by the guild of her dreams: a guild for assassins and hired killers.
Guild/Position: The Eight Precepts - A guild for assassins and hired kills. Not everyone in the guild is of the assassin class, but rather their job is to kill others. Neither good nor evil, they simply kill anyone who pays them to do so. Though since they’re willing to kill anyone they’ve been branded as an outlaw guild since they have a few high profile murders to their names. It has many members however most are newbies who often end up quitting due to the difficulties of being an assassin, so only a small group within the guild are core members who enjoy the full benefits. B3 is one of such members since she’s professional enough to get the job done without the usual hangups. Though not high enough to make any important decisions she has access to various guild facilities to make her poisons, get assassination contracts, and improve her equipment.
Personality: A quiet fellow who doesn’t like to get too close to others. He’s a silent killer but has a sense of professionalism that ensures that he doesn’t go too overboard with his work. He enjoys killing others but dislikes senseless slaughter; he sees the act of murder as an artform and thus strives to make the best art everytime he goes to work. Personally however B3 is just scared of being alone and what would happen if all of his sins were to come back and haunt him. He wants to believe that what he’s doing isn’t wrong, it’s just business, and that there are no hard feelings for what has to be done. So desperate for friends that B3 willingly works with a violent group for their approval, as he knows that if his past is learned by others they would reject him for his history.
Skills: Vanishment - A basic assassin ability that allows B3 to vanish from sight and triple his movement speed. The vanishment is dismissed if he attacks someone.
Sneak Attack - A basic assassin ability that has increased accuracy and damage if used on an enemy who doesn’t detect B3. It can also be used against enemies who are heavily debilitated by status effects, such as if they’re panicking, paralyzed, asleep, poisoned, and so forth.
Wire Knife - A unique mobility skill that allows B3 to throw a dart attached to a wire. If used against an opponent it can bring B3 directly towards them. B3 can also throw the knife at various obstacles or objects to pull himself towards things or pull the objects to him.
Swift Hands - A unique item skill that allows B3 to apply poisons to his weapons instantly as long as he has poisons in his inventory.
Detect Poisons - A subclass skill that allows B3 to instantly identify any poison in his view, including what the poison does, how it was made, and even who made it.
Craft Poisons - The primary skill of the Poison User subclass. By collecting various ingredients B3 can make different poisons of different potency and effects. Even without any ingredients he can make generic weak potions that can afflict different status effects or simply do minor damage-over-time. These poisons can come in different forms such as contact (I.e. coated on a weapon), inhaled, consumed, and so forth.
Signature Design - The capstone of the Poison User subclass. This skill allows B3 to be able to make one specific poison every day even if he doesn’t have the materials for it, and the materials needed for said poison are reduced. This poison is also more effective than normal and can bypass usual poison immunities.
Equipment: Ninjato - The ninja sword. Shorter than a katana but longer than a tanto, this sword can strike fast and precisely. The key thing about the ninjato is that their sheath is longer than the blade, allowing an assassin to hide things in their sheath. B3 puts poison in his sheath so that whenever he draws his sword it’s always poisoned.
Shurikens - Throwing stars that require much skill to use. Compared to kunai Shuriken do far less damage, but they are capable of more complex maneuvers through the air, allowing them to strike enemies at unexpected angles with great speed. Because of these qualities shurikens are great as poisoned weapons. Multiple shurikens can be held in a single hand to be thrown simultaneously.
Robe of Glamour - A low rarity magic item. It is a simple cloth robe that can change its appearance into any sort of outfit or armor, however it only has the protective quality of a cloth robe. Good for disguises on the run though.
Poisons - B3 carries various poisons that he has made himself. Though his character level is low, his subclass level is maxed out, allowing him to craft and utilize poisons well above his level. Most of the materials he gets through his guild however he would occasionally go out and get some personally.
Frostbite Venom - A basic poison made from giant spider venom. Causes moderate damage over time.
Taste of Death - A basic poison that is used in conjunction with other poisons. It ensures that when mixing two or more different poisons together, the mixture doesn’t cause any of the poisons to lose their potency. It also removes any notable features from the poisons that could be detected, such as scent, smell, or sight. Useful when poisoning food.
Twisted Tongue - An advance poison made from dryad oils. Causes minor damage over time but also silences the target, preventing them from speaking or using incantations for their skills or spells.
Clouded Eyes - An advanced poison made out of crushed basilisk eyes. Causes minor damage over time and makes the target blinded by turning their eyes to stone. Cannot be healed by conventional antidotes, only things that can cure petrification.
Choking Cloud - An advanced poison made out of the ashes of toxic vines. An airborne poison that can spread over an area depending on how high it was when released. Those caught in the cloud suffer debilitating coughing and difficulty breathing, doing moderate damage over time as long as they’re within the cloud.
Kiss of Defeat - A powerful poison made from the bark of a elder tree and mushrooms grown from dead bodies. Quite simply causes a long-lasting paralysis and high amount of damage over time.
Nihopalaoa - A powerful poison made from a lich’s phylactery. Reverses the effects of items against those struck by this poison. Healing spells will cause harm, items that remove afflictions will instead inflict them, and things that create buffs will instead debuffs. The same is true if harmful items are used against the person poisoned: items that causes damages will heal them, poisoning will remove poisons, etc. Has to be dispelled like a curse.
Mind of Madness - B3’s Signature Poison made from demon’s blood. Those struck by this poison are taken by an uncontrollable maddess that increases their power but reduces their defenses. They also cannot understand or communicate with others even through magical means like telepathy. Finally they can only perceive enemies around them, and anything done towards them appears to be a hostile attack. This poison can affect those even normally immune to poisons, such as the undead or golems.
Theme song: Fun Facts: Like any ninja, B3 often disguises himself as a simple farmer. This is actually how he maintains his supply for poisons, working at his guild’s secret garden to grow ingredients for his more powerful poisons. He has different aliases everywhere he goes, even among Landers.
Unsurprisingly B3 does have a bounty on his head but only as one of his alias, back when he was still a solo assassin. It’s a small bounty since he hasn’t done bandirty in a while but low level bounty hunters might still go after him.
B3 doesn’t personally advertise his services to others. He usually gets assigned or offered jobs via his guild. He’s done everything from hunting down a few annoying players to killing guild leaders, though never in a straight up battle. Usually by poisoning their food and letting the poison get to them.
B3 intentionally tries to keep a low level. She believes that if she got too strong people might notice her more and that would make it harder for her to assassinate others. If she had bothered to level grind, she would actually be around level 88.
Imma have to say no to this, I already explained on discord but there was a lot of discussion so I'll post my reasons here.
I know you intended this to be a villain but the concept just doesn't work. Being level 24 in an MMO isn't just an aesthetic choice, there are a lot of setbacks they would have to deal with that a high level subclass wouldn't help with. In almost all MMOs, crafting is tied to your subclass so making these poisons is totally viable but powerful items are tied to your character level, and being level 24, the poisons you can use are going to do very little against even the lowest level party member so far who is level 48. The weapons they have would be level locked as well making their attacks just do very little damage in general and it just doesn't work for this kind of RP, sorry.
I could make him into a higher level character, he would have been level 88 if he wasn't trying to keep his level low for the purpose of going underneath the notice of other high level characters. I don't know if in Log Horizon other players can "see" each others level or if there's any way to obfuscate it. I suppose if he's higher level he might be able to access abilities that would disguise those things anyways.
Background: Fred grew up in the Midwest with a fun filled family. He is one of six kids, the fifth son in his family. He grew up an athlete, playing baseball all throughout his youth, earning a scholarship to college with his athleticism. During his sophomore year though, things changed when a car accident changed and flipped his whole world upside down.
Fred lost two friends and almost lost his leg, but managed to barely come out of it in one piece. He walks with a limp and lost his scholarship as he wasn't able to play baseball anymore. Depression hit him hard, but the young adult was introduced to Elder Tales by one of his older brothers, finding a new team to be part of.
In Game History: Adjusting to the realization that he was stuck in the world of Elder Tales, Fred did what he felt most comfortable with, and that was to find his friends and calm his mind. It was strange to actually be able to function like a normal person again as walking around the digital world he wasn't limping like he would have been in the real world.
The red head was able to get in contact with four of his in-game friends, who were all scattered around the server. So Fred made it a goal to reunite the ones who were stuck within the world of Elder Tales, as he felt it was his chance to make up for losing the ones he lost in real life.
Personality: Fred is a happy-go-lucky kind of guy. He tends to be very positive and cheerful, but can sometimes be a jerk as the awful stereotypical jock attitude of his can still be shown. He is an extremely competitive person and can also be very vain. He has a bright and warm personality as he now pretends to be happier, because that in turn helps him believe it himself.
In the world of Elder Tales Fred's avatar, Redds, is exactly the same. He is a fun-loving, adventure-seeking man who likes living dangerously. He also tends to showcase his competitive side when it comes to raids and joining parties. He still carries his outgoing personality though, making friends easily in the world of Elder Tales.
Monk Skills:

Username: Crosshot_21 Real Name:Alexander Willaims Gender: Male for both Age:26 Race:Human Class:Assassin Subclass: Tracker Level: 89 Appearance: Background: Alex was a lost soul in the real world. He worked a dead end job as mechanic, and was in his sixth year as a second year college student. Life was, as his girlfriend would describe his outlook, "A number of shades of grey." The few friends Alex had tended to only want to be friends with him when they can get something out of the deal. There was only two things in his life that brought any color to his grey life, his Mother Hannah and his girlfriend Alexis. It was thanks to Alexis, that he got into the online game Elder Tales. The two originally met while in high school. The two met while Alex was browsing a local gaming store, while Alexis was working there. It was Alexis that got Alex into playing Elder Tales and became his the first and greatest of his friends. She had bought him The game as a "New friends gift" and showed him how to play. The game opened up a whole new world for Alex, when his life had once been just grey, not he had a beautiful water color. Alexis and Alex quickly became closer and closer, Taking every opportunity to spend time together in and outside of Elder Tales. After a few years the two began to become romantically involved. Life lasted like this for a number of years until a week before the apocalypse. Alexis was moving servers, as for the last two weeks she had been living as an exchange student in Korea. In order to play with friend in her timezone she needed to move servers. While Alex was sad he understood and Alexis promised she would move it back when she came home. Then the apocalypse happened. In Game History: Alex was lost, all he cared for ripped away. The few friends he had were busy with their own guilds or securing their own safety. Alex walked the server, seeing his new world. He saw the Landers struggle as the players floundered for themselves. There was no real order to life, it was terrible to see all the he once loved thrown into chaos. As he walked He got into contact with several of his closest friends. For the first few days they did nothing but just sit and stumble around, unsure of what to do. Slowly the group of five meandered through the server taking on odd jobs for no other reason then to have something to do. Slowly they came to the realization, this was their new world. They were stuck here for better or for worse, they needed to make the best of it. quickly the group started brain storming ideas for what they could do. The could join a guild and be forced to take order with a group of people they didn't know or respect, or they could form their own guild. They decided to form a guild if for no other reason then they already knew how to work with each other. What kind of Guild would they form? A military guild like almost all the others that would have mammoth competition right out of the gate? A production guild that again faced huge obstacles when it came to recruitment and sales? After a long while Lamba was formed, since then Alex and ther others have began to form their information base across the server. Guild/Position: Senior member/ Co Founder of Lamba Lamba is a guild is made up of two groups within the Guild. The members and the associates, The members tend to be very secretive and don't interact much with others outside of the lander representatives whos job it is to find work. The Associates are those who have Temporary or those who belong to other Guilds. They seem to know very little about the inner workings of the guild, as they only get contacted by the members when Information or for missions. The guild seems to have major backing with Landers as a number of governments employ them in one way or another, with jobs ranging from caravan guards to Military adviser roles. Due to their renown as spy's and for their subterfuge a number of player guilds often employ them to get information on certain players, Landers and groups. On the rare occasion, some have even hired them for assassination missions, though these seem few and far between. Outside of these darker means of employment, Lamba has be active in the lander communities, offering help to those in need. These acts range from clearing out monsters to offering charity in the form of food and clothing. On at least two occasions they have been found to help rebuild towns and villages damaged by monster raids. They prefer to work with Landers over players. Personality: Alex is a very stoic and laconic man, often times uttering only a few words through out an hour long conversation. He takes his job and position very seriously, as he could always be found out working with his men during the day and in their Guild hall working on paper work late into the night. On the few cases he has free time, he spends time reading or playing with the stray cat Misha that seems to have taken a liking to him. Alex knows that he must be strong and tough to lead his guild mates, as many are younger then him with a large amount having families and people who cared about them back in the real world. Alex tries his hardest to not to let his own sadness show, as he has two people he thinks about every day. His mother Hannah and Girlfriend Alexis, the joke he is well aware of, are constantly on his mind. Alex can be gruff upon first contact but always tries to be friendly, often times coming across as stiff and awkward at the best of times.
