@Pie Flavor Hmm, well if Plank doesn't get at it then go ahead an make one, if he has already got one in the works and finishes it by say, Friday, then I'll let him finish.
@Plank Sinatra So Plank you got until Friday before that last servant position is up for grabs.

I've got my character template halfway done already. Got held back by a couple projects that are due before the start of spring break. CS will be up tomorrow.

Name: Golden Drive Rank: B Type: Drive Noble Phantasm Ability: A large motorcycle imbued with Raijin’s power. According to Kintoki, it is a monster machine possessing 2 million horse powers. Its maximum speed is 2500 kilometer (around Mach 2). Its name that has been given by Kintoki is “Golden Bear Mk. 1”. The cherished mount bound to Kintoki when he is summoned as a Rider. It possesses the ability to transform by its nature. But on this occasion, Bear Mk. 1 has been configured to perform a super charging dash during its True Name Release.
Golden Huge Bear Mk. I The motorcycle Bear Mk. I is an abnormal Devil Monster Machine. Apparently, it is a mobile machine, but not actually a motorcycle. Kintoki says it can transform into a giant robot. Kintoki says it is impossible to use it in town. Kintoki says it is modeled after a giant prayer weapon blessed by Hachiman-jin, which was used in battle against the giant “Tsuchigumo of Rendaino, in Kitayama” that has the size of Shinchuu (a heteromorphic giant creature that expunges calamity). The authenticity behind those claims is not known.
Name: Golden Drive - Good Night: Night Wolf Death Nine Rank: B Type: Anti-Unit ~ Anti-Army Noble Phantasm Ability: A charging dash on Golden Bear in its Super Accel Assault Mode. At maximum speed, it can reach hundreds of times its normal speed. Wreathed in lightning, Bear Mk. 1 flattens its targets. Its tires are actually Raijin's transformed drums, and their lightning grows more powerful as they rotate. In short, this attack becomes more powerful the further Golden Bear travels.
"During my life, I was once plagued by dreadful nightmares when I lay down to sleep. These dreams, this... whirl of grudges by the many abominations, demons, and inhuman mysteries I slew, must have been sent by the curse of a Tsuchigumo. I was terribly weakened, and resigned to die. But, one night... Kintoki stood by my bedside beating Raijin's drums. He became brilliant lightning, and gently chased my nightmares away. Then, those cursed dreams, which had morphed into other-realms, were all incinerated by lightning."
"Yes, thus he saved me. During my entire life, I never forgot the joy I felt that evening. Even now, I still remember it." "Hm? You ask what this has to do with Bear Mk. 1? Ah yes, well. The wheels of that iron horse are the very drums of Raijin which Kintoki used to save me that night."
Above, a recorded conversation during Minamoto no Raikou's stay at Chaldea.
I cooked up a few Servant ideas for this, but this is the one I felt like doing the most to add some variety. If there are any problems, let me know and I'll edit or post a new CS accordingly.
alright I got no problem with Kintoki but for reference, and to remind everyone we have no ranged fighter. Mordred's phantasm is our only way of fighting something big, or something from mid range. If we run into a far away target our masters will be the only ones who can do something about it short of Kintoki, or Mordred charging them. Diarmuid doesn't have the speed to close the distance as fast but he serves as a good disabler.
Just want to voice my concerns about us being overtly specialized in close range combat.
Golden Drive has a range of 900 lol. And it can be utilized in more ways than just the motorcycle. Golden Bear Mk I is nuts in FGO side materials. It could pretty easily close distance or fight something big.
Yes like I said: Kintoki, and Mordred have the potential to close the distance. More so Kintoki than Mordred with mana burst but you're entirely missing the point I was trying to make. We lack an archer, or a caster capable of fighting at range. There may be moments where we fight and the group can't rely on melee combatants. I'm not trying to belittle Diarmuid but he is as middle of the road servant as it comes and is overtly specialized in close ranged combat. Kintoki is fast, and strong but he is still also a melee specialist who can use lightning at medium ranges. Mordred is a melee specialist who can theoretically hit at medium range if given a clear opening with Blood Clarent but is otherwise stuck to throwing Clarent, or trees around like King Kong.
I'm just trying to make sure we have our bases covered here. Ultimately its up to Ice as GM on what they put up as enemies. I just don't like my eggs all in one basket.
I could have pretty easily made an Archer-class character but I thought we needed some more variety than just using a representative from each of the Knight classes. The whole point is that it's a game, and I'm up for that game to be a challenge if the GM wants to throw us one. In the meantime, we all picked Servants we want to play. I don't begrudge anyone for their picks.
That said, I'm also open for anyone who wants to be BOSS.
Caster isn't a member of the knight classes, and is also capable of fighting at range depending on who/what they are specialized into. Not all of them have the sheer range of Archer but I just feel the nessesarity of reaffirming my statement. Likewise Berserkers, and Riders aren't nessesarily locked into melee either. Raikou is capable of using a bow, and there are many huns/steppes riders who can likely be spec'd into bow. I'm not trying to change your mind I'm just pointing out our current situation. If Ice has no issues with Kintoki, and you chose to keep playing as him that is fine.
Kintoki is fine, although, a little interesting considering the rider version is a variation but it's not an alter so it's alright. Of course like vance said, you guys are quite close-mid range so there will be trouble, especially against any fliers. The humans will just have to work hard to make up the difference against such opponents.
Course most of the baddies won't be of those sorts but of course they will appear from time to time.@vancexentan@Plank Sinatra
In hindsight yeah my characters are basically using green, red, and white for the posts. Funny coincidence but not intended. Mexican Mordred would resemble speedy Gonzales though.
It's basically a hybrid of the two. If it was Tsukihime then Arcruid would be on Echidna's trail and she is just so overpowered that wouldn't be much fun so I've cut her out of this universe. If it was in purely Fate, the 27 Dead Apostles aren't really too much of a thing, I believe they exist but they mostly keep to themselves and stay as hidden as possible. Although I do believe it was technically their fault that Fate CCC timeline happens where humanity is wiped out so that they only exist inside the virtual memory of the Moon Cell.
Anyway it's my own little hybrid version so I don't have to worry too much about all that.
