For this role play, I will be taking ideas from my hero Academia and Sky High. I'll only accept original characters but you can base your characters powers and or ideas off of an existing superhero from DC Comics or Marvel Comics or anywhere else. If anyone has a blatant rip-off character, that character will be denied. I have a basic storyline idea but, as always, it is up to the players to decide where the story actually goes. I am also looking for a co-GM to play the villains. This will be a slightly overpowered roleplay but if somebody gets too out of hand oh, they will be dealt with swiftly. I will try to be lenient.
As for the world, superpowers are common. Not as common as in my hero Academia we're only 20% of people don't have powers, but more common than Marvel and DC we're only 20% of people do have powers. Think of it as a 50-50 split. Now, you can't have a superhero without superpowers, just look at the Riddler, Batman, Green Arrow, Etc. However, those Heroes also have trained skills and I have taken time to either buy or make, if not both, their own gadgets and weaponry.
This will be different from most of my other role plays as I will not keep it child friendly. However, you do still have to stick to the guild rules. You want to cuss, go for it. You want to show an explicit scene, take it to private messages.
For the superpowers, you can have up to 3. However, if you have three powers, they will be weaker then if you only had a single power. It is easy to create a power with multiple applications. For example, let's say 1 Hero has the 1 power to morph metal to his whim. With that being is only Power, he would be very strong with it and be able to do a lot more. However, if he also had the ability to morph wood or stone, each power within be at 50%. To add a third power would take them each down to 33%. Another limit to the powers is they have to be somehow connected. Being able to morph metal and stone would work as metal is refined ore and ore is similar enough to stone that the powers would be very effective together, not to mention similar but different on how they react to the morphing. There are certain powers that will only be a single power set. I will not reveal these powers until someone brings them up.
