[IC] The Rise of the Guardian

Scarlet leaned back in the chair and said “even more mysterious then we thought…she might be tied to all of this chaos then we thought…anything else come up?”

[Jazz]

"Other than I noticed what appeared to be a old scar, she has had this fever since that interaction." Orion mentioned. "I don't know if she will remember this."

[MegaraFoxfire]

Scarlet moved forward and said “but what triggered it in the first place…why now? Did fighting creatures before do this?”

[Jazz]

"No. This is the first time I've had knowledge of this." Carth explained. Orion seemed in deep thought about it for a moment. "There are times that certain events could cause such triggers." Orion said, thought to his words as he recalled the knowledge.

Scarlet frowned again then said softly “what if…the more creatures she faces fhe weaker this memory wall gets? Or…something she is doing?”

[Jazz]

Orion was curious himself but looked a little unsure. "It is a possibility. But I would be careful if you try this kind of pursuit. It could get her killed."

Carth thinks on this too and nods. He looks to Scarlet, wondering if that was the right thing to do. Maybe there were other options. But he didn't know himself how to help someone regain memories.

Scarlet shook her head and said “I think our best course is to go on the lead of that book we found. Find this Assassin of White…it’s the most solid led we have. So what can we do for Ash then? Help her now?”

[Jazz]

"Question is where to find him. Is the Assassin even still alive?" Carth asks Scarlet. He figured maybe that book could be helpful but how were they suppose to find someone who would be extremely hard to find.

Orion sighed. "Right now, nothing. It seems what Ash maybe going through is a internal struggle from what I have gathered. She must have been pushing herself, not realizing the toll she would inflict on her mentality that though she had forgotten, pushes to help others but never take care of her own well being and that, is why she most likely why she is like this now. Give her rest. And time. Being here for her but take care of yourselves as well." Orion explains.

Carth could only nod before looking to Ash. With a sigh, he looks to Scarlet.

Scarlet frowned then looked at the doctor. “We have a journey to make…but we can’t have her keep pushing herself like this…could you come with us? Or recommend someone who can? Yoh can see we are a mess”

[Jazz]

Orion was honestly quite surprised to be asked to go outside the fort. But if he was even more honest, he was hesitant to do so. He looked like he was in thought for some time, eyes closed while contemplating his decision. With a sigh, Orion opened his eyes and looked at the two. "I will see what I can do. None of us have really left this fort you see."

Scarlet sighed and nodded saying “I undersTand. If it’s too much of an ask I totally get it. We can find someone else if that works better”

[Jazz]

Orion nodded. "I understand. I will think about it and maybe see if anyone is willing for this adventure." He bows his head. "Stay for as long as you like for Ash. I am sure she will like the company. I need to tend to a few things myself." He then takes his leave into another room.

Carth looked to Scarlet. "Wanna see her for abit before we go eat?" He asks.

Scarlet nodded and said “ya…I’m worried about her…” she got up and moved to Ash to take the girls hand and make sure she really was okay. Ash was breathing softly now, seeming to be a little calmer.

[Jazz]

Carth followed and stood near the two as Scarlet sat down next to Ash and held her hand. Seeing Ash's face soften even just a little made Carth relieved. It was good to know that she had trust in Scarlet, maybe even him. Walking over, Carth put a gentle hand on Ash's shoulder. "Get better, yeah? Already miss ya." He says softly.

Ash stirred at his voice and her eyes opened a little bit, seeing them above her. “Carth…Scar…what…”

[Jazz]

Carth smiled softly seeing her wake up. "Its okay. You passed out from the pain you received in your back and ran a high fever. Just get some rest Ash. We're still gonna be here." He assured.

Ash turned and Scarlet nodded. “We will be here so don’t worry. We will watch your back” ash smiled weakly and turned and curled back up closing her eyes. Scarlet sighed and said “her waking up is a good sign right?”

[Jazz]

Carth's smile stayed, even as she rolled over and curled up while removing his hand. "I'd say so considering what the Doctor said earlier." He moved away from the bed and went to find Orion who was working on some medicines.

"She woke up. At least enough for us to reassure her." Orion looked over to them and give a small smile. "That's good to hear. If you both want to go continue your day, I will look after her from here." Carth nodded before looking to Scarlet. "Shall we go?"

Scarlet nodded and said “ya…should we bring some food back for you Doctor?”

[Jazz]

Orion shook his head. "Oh no thank you. I already have a meal I need to tend to. But thank you for the offer." He declines gently with a small smile.

Carth nodded, then bowed his head before leaving. Once out the door, he looks around. "What's on the menu I wonder."
