Orion was unsure himself. He didn't understand what it meant. Though before he could think it over more. He jumps a little as he sees what going on with Shinlo. "Isis? What going on with Shinlo? This is not something I understand what's going on."
Isis came out and said “his body is in flux. It will pass in a few minutes…it’s been happening more since the wall in his mind was cracked when we were attacked”
"I understand. To have that wall is what keeps the balance between human and our beasts. Is there a way one could help repair the wall in his mind?" Orion asks Isis, knowing that it would be terrible if the wall in Shinlo's mind shattered.
Isis curled up on his chest and whimpered sadly. Scarlet was listening closely and said “a being more powerful…Orion…what if…it was one of the sisters who blocked his memory?”
"That could be the case, however I need something to help him and so far it is waiting. That is all we can do." Orion rubs his face as if frustrated but resisting to react on it. Instead he was taking a few deep breaths. "Right now go ahead and go get some rest. I'll wake you when I head to bed myself." Mainly not wanting to take his frustrations out on Scarlet accidently. That was the last thing he wanted as well as shift based on the reckless actions of his emotions.
Scarlet was looking at Shinlo then moved over to him and rested a hand on his head and closed her eyes. Her hand glowed white and she focused on the aura around Shinlo. “It’s shadow based…the barrier is…I might be able to use my light to push it into place…so it doesn’t hurt him so much…”
Scratching the top of his head, Orion was unsure if this was going to work but figured if Scarlet could do it, maybe it might work. "If you can do it. But be careful and don't overdo it." He warns with sincerity.
Scarlet nodded but her hand was shaking a few moments later, sweat running down her face “this level of magic…I’ve never seen it before…it’s more intense and powerful then any magic user I’ve encountered”
"Then it may not be wise to try and force it into place if it is as powerful as you say." Orion advises. He didn't want Scarlet to drain herself. But that wasn't his call to make.
Scarlet said “I think…I can almost…” she focused a bit more then suddenly a flash happened and threw scarlet back, out of the tent and into a tree outside. Shinlo then relaxed and passed out fully.
Altoron and Carth are startled from their own business when they see Scarlet thrown out of the tent. Altoron quickly got to his feet and to Scarlet's side. Running out of the tent, Orion kneels beside Scarlet. "Scarlet? Please talk to me." Voice full of worry as he examines her.
Orion cursed, lifting her head for his lap to be her pillow. "Dang it...this is my fault." Even though he exercised caution, he let her and this transpired. He didn't know what else could be done differently and still have outcome be this. It was frustrating.
Scarlet groaned again and muttered “not your…fault…just stronger magic then…I thought…but it’s okay now…Shinlo should…be able to recover safely…” she fought to open her eyes and saw the three men looking at her. “Did I end up outside?”
Carth had scooted over a bit to sniff Scarlet before raising his head. "Indeed. You flew into a tree. I think you have something against trees." trying to make light of the conversation, even if just a little.
Orion sighed with some relief but still worried. "Don't scare us like that!"
Scarlet flinched and said “I didn’t mean to…I didn’t think that would happen…I just finished repairing the wall when a rush of power hit me from the other side of it…” she tried to sit up.
Orion helped her sit up slowly. "As long as you will be okay. Shinlo is resting more peacefully now. You should rest." He advises, Altoron nods in agreement.
