Watts' upper lip twitched slightly, hearing Elara swear. He didn't have any sort of idea how long they had been trapped within that show - time seemed to have been different there from his perspective - but knowing that they could swear was a relief. Swearing was a major outlet of aggression for him, next to throwing things (at people) of course. The only people in his life he tried to restrain himself around (successfully, he might add) would have been his family. He never threw objects at his kids - ever. He loved them dearly. His eyes then darted over towards Belladonna as she suggested killing Longshot. "He's our leverage. We keep him alive," Watts voted. Well, more of Watts had made that decision and was going to use his superspeed to enforce it.

"I agree. He knows the terrain and what we're up against - and he's a victim," Arthur concurred. It was basically the most he had spoken this entire time. Looking at Longshot, he saw a mirrored reflection of himself. Arthur had been trapped on Krakoa, a place as hellish as Mojo's dominion but for different reasons. Longshot seemed to be telling the truth, that he hadn't had a choice in all of this. Spiral's story was even more gruesome.

The mention of Ricochet Rita being the real identity of Spiral caught him by surprise. Rita Wayward had been a professional stuntwoman out of LA - a fairly famous one, given that Watts wasn't much for following movie stars and all, yet he remembered hearing about her vanishing after some love affair years ago. It had been everything his lab mates had wanted to talk about - come to think of it, Watts then remembered that he had ended the conversation by throwing a wrench at the ceiling. It had hit the light fixtures and caused them to spark and die. "I'll scout the alleyway," he acknowledged. He respected that Casey had spotted it, but with everything Longshot had told them, he didn't trust this place.

Kicking off at superspeed, he zipped around the alley in less than a second, before returning to the group. "It's safe."

Arthur nodded, carefully moving into the alleyway that Casey and Watts had concurred would be their best spot. They had gotten Longshot out of there, but where was Spiral? How were they going to meet with her? And did she have the ability to turn them back into adults again? He hated the idea of being stuck like this, of having to go through puberty again. His childhood had been rough enough. He didn't need to replay it. "How do we get in contact with Spiral?" he then asked Longshot gruffly.

Elara

Location: Mojo... world?
Skills: Vertigo Inducement

When Longshot set himself free, Elara stepped backwards in case he immediately attacked again. She remained in a defensive position until he'd apologized and introduced himself. Rita, huh? Does that mean...?

Longshot's explanation answered her own question. So, Spiral is just another brainwashed Mojo muppet. Great. What if she had been working with Mojo the entire time? What if this was just another mind game? If the reality they were just in wasn't the quote-on-quote real Mojo world, then were they about to be sent into it next? Elara glanced between Andrew, Longshot, Sapphire, and the others.

Elara wasn't exactly ready to be in a dark, hidden alley with someone who had just "re-emerged" from a brainwashed state. The buzzing scout above them was enough to convince her that it was the right move, and so after Watts speedily examined it Elara followed the gang into it.

Arthur's gruff question reminded Elara that she was still producing a "clone" of Spiral. Obviously Longshot would think the question redundant if the thought that Spiral was with them in person. She let the illusion fade away, and before Longshot could react to the disappearance she turned to him and shrugged.

"I had to make sure that you were who she said you were. Can't be too careful after you just tried to kill us." She gave him an unsympathetic smile. "She asked us to get you out of that reality, and that's why we're choosing to trust you right now. Will you help us all escape Mojo?"

"You don't get a hold of Spiral, she gets in contact with you," Longshot responded instantly to Arthur as he ducked into the alleyway. The instant the group was out of the main road and in the alley, a spotlight shone above them, right where they had been moments before. "Yeah, I'll help you all out, just we've got to get completely off the streets, we can only stay in the alley for so long before they catch up. I might have managed a few escapes of my own over the years, just kept getting caught since getting off the planet is the hard part, not necessarily getting out of Mojo's messed up TV shows."

"Oh, great, so we can't see about talking with Spiral until she decides to show up. Not to mention you just said that the hardest part about escaping from here is the thing ahead of us, called actually getting off of this planet. So any idea how the hell we're supposed to do that?"

"Actually you aren't just on another planet, the Mojoverse resides in it's own dimension, but there are wormholes that lead back to the main universe that you're from. Trust me, I've had a lot of run ins with people like yourselves, heroes dragged here by Mojo, but they were able to get back to Earth. I've even gotten off this planet more then once and found my way to Earth."

"Wait... You're telling me you've gotten out of this place and to Earth? So why are you here? I mean, no offense, but shouldn't you be on Earth as opposed to here if you think about it..."

"Because there are a lot of people like me stuck here as slaves to Mojo and his goons. I could never stay on Earth with the knowledge of what everyone else here has to deal with on a daily basis..."

"Okay, going to be blunt, this guy is kind of weird," Sapphire muttered under her breath as she looked over at Longshot. This guy was definitely a strange one, and she still wasn't even sure if they could trust him or believe a thing that he said, since he had tried to kill them as Elara had pointed out. Though they were stuck some place that none of them knew how to navigate, so they were kind of stuck with Longshot.

"So... Any idea where we should go while we wait for Spiral to decide to actually show up?" Andrew asked, as there were suddenly the sound of footsteps coming nearby, as a group of about 10 soldier looking people (actually they looked almost like Storm Troopers ironically) came into view, and they instantly saw the group. Longshot instantly pulled out a blaster of sorts from his side and fired it off, slamming into a few of them.

"We get out of here and hopefully somewhat stall for Spiral to eventually show up, or get out of here entirely and hope for the best," he responded, firing off a few more shots at the Storm Trooper wannabes that seemed to knock them back.

"...Well I wish I actually had something to shoot them back with..." Andrew muttered. There were about 25 soldiers in total, and Longshot managed to knock down 5 of them, leaving 20 left to deal with at the moment. Or of course running was always an option, and just hoping you can out run them.

Evelyn let out a little bit of an annoyed sigh she didn't like having to wait for Spiral to show herself they were on their own until then it looks like. "Looks like we are on our own then until she actually decides to appear." Evelyn didn't really care about Spiral's past at all, she just cared about getting out of here as soon as possible. And they were in a completely different universe than their own she didn't want to be trapped her at all. When Evelyn heard some footsteps she turned her attention towards the sidewalk just as the spotlight had moved over from where they all were just moments prior.

Evelyn saw the stormtrooper wannabes come and started to open fire on all of them, Longshot managing to take down five of them right away she quickly dived forward and picked up the blaster rifle like weapon. It felt a little bit weird having to wield a weapon that was almost her size. She inspected it for a moment and then watched the armed troopers rather closely on how to use the weapon. She preferred to get up close and personal while fighting, but she wasn't armed with her sword, just a bunch of throwing knives. She fired off five shots, and managed to take out three of them without any kind of issue while looking over at the others. "I'm all up for hiding really." Evelyn said.

The moment that one of the stormtrooper wannabes dropped their weapons thanks to Longshot, Casey quickly went over and grabbed two of the weapons, before coming back and tossed Andrew a weapon. "Here you go a weapon for you." Casey said simply and gave Watts a slight look, he had scolded Andrew earlier about his suit thing, he did need a weapon to defend himself with since Andrew didn't have his suit. Casey adjusted the weapon in her arms and looked at the group of stormtrooper clones, and opened fire.

Casey grumbled slightly as she only managed to take down only one of them, while looking at the others, they needed to get out of here rather quickly, and sooner the better. The armed men would most likely end up calling for more to come over, as Casey backed up a little bit. "We should get out of here as soon as possible and hunker down somewhere." Casey said, she didn't want to end up becoming like the many people that Longshot had mentioned earlier being slaves to Mojo.

Bella wasn't going to bring up the fact that Longshot had been against them mere moments before, victim or not, but she let it go. Violence wasn't always the answer, of course (though it did solve more problems than people liked to admit). She followed the others. If she had to be stuck in this world a moment longer, she was going to throw a large brick at someone. She had grown used to the child's body, which meant she would have to try all the more harder when she got back into her own body.

Soon they heard footsteps and were face-to-face with soldiers in weird armor. They saw them and Longshot fired off blasts at them. They quickly ran into cover. The talk for fighting back seemed silly to her. She was armed, after all. It must have looked weird from the outside looking in to see a 12-year-old hold a gun and shoot it at Stormtrooper-looking people. She gauged their armor was tough, but she had some aid there. She imbued her gun with air elements and shot off three rounds, hitting and taking out three of the soldiers as they crumpled due to the static in their systems. She got down again to cover herself.

"Running may be good, but there's still a lot of them. I can provide covering fire, if need be."

Arthur gritted his teeth slightly. If they had no means to contact Spiral, and they had to wait for her to make contact, why hadn't she done so yet? They had pulled Longshot out of the TV world as requested. They had gone through her secret exit. With the spotlight shining down on where they had been moments before, they didn't have very long until they would end up being captured. They were in terrain that Longshot seemed to be challenged by and he was their guide. They needed Spiral to contact them and soon, or... He didn't want to think about the or. He had spent enough time in one hell to not wish to see another.

Watts was similarly less than thrilled with the plan. But if stalling was what they had to do in order to escape this dimension so he could return home to his kids, then that was what they'd do. He didn't even want to think about the implication that time might be moving differently here as well. Would it be a thousand years on Earth before they'd get back? Would he return to find his children old with families of their own? The jackbooted stormtroopers showed up before he could suggest a course of action. His mind raced. There were too many of them to fight, especially since reinforcements were coming. And there were too many in their group for Watts to carry and run off with.

"Hold onto me and don't let go," he instructed the group suddenly, before injecting himself with a large hit of the speed serum. He made sure that he either had a hold on everyone or that they had a grip on him, before he concentrated. He began to vibrate faster and faster, as he focused on the molecules of everything around him, the slight breeze tickling his face. Eventually, he found the frequency of the ground below them and the entire group began to phase through the ground. They continued to fall until they were suddenly in the air again, dropping into a sewer system.

The archer staggered slightly, looking sick. "What...the...hell..." Arthur grunted, clutching his stomach. He was trying his very best not to puke. He hadn't been expecting anything like that. His mind couldn't even comprehend how that had happened. He looked up and the ceiling of the sewer was very much solid. He felt like he had just been on a rollercoaster going at top speed with dizzying drops. It took him a minute to regain his composure. "Are you familiar with the sewers?" he asked Longshot.

Elara

Location: Mojo... world?
Skills: N/A

Elara was beginning to grow impatient with this situation. The impatience only grew when Longshot told them that they'd have to wait for her majesty, Spiral, to show up before they could do anything. She just wanted to go home. Or to what was home, but would be completely different when they returned. Even if they cleaned up this mess, safely made it back to Earth, and regained their older forms, there was still a major problem to deal with.

Rae Gardner was a part of the Mastermind Sisters. Who even knew where they were at the moment? They were probably back at Serval, wrecking everything the industry once stood for. The entire state could be in chaos at this very moment. People could be getting hurt, innocent people, and here the group was. Stuck in a completely different dimension.

Elara was beginning to feel the time lag catch up to her. How long had it been since she last had a meal? Since she'd last gotten a wink of sleep. Were the others feeling the same way too, or were they just used to such long and endless days like this. She glanced around at the group as they argued, and tightened her grip on her injured shoulder. The bleeding was slowing, thankfully. She almost asked Sapphire to freeze it over, but their moment of rest was interrupted when the suits walked in.

Why didn't I bring the blaster? She thought, immediately taking cover behind a nearby dumpster. The others jumped into action quickly, but Elara needed more time to think. She needed a break. She'd had plenty of long nights back in San Diego, but this was an otherworldly experience. She just wanted to patch up this cut, eat a whole dining table of food, and knock out for at least twelve hours. She closed her eyes and gave herself a moment to think. How could they get away from some many of Mojo's goons, without being followed?

It was then that she heard Watt's voice, and she turned her head to see him taking a rather large dosage that she'd seen before. She wasn't sure what he was going to do, but if he had a way out that wouldn't require using more energy, she was all for it. So, she rushed herself over to him and grabbed onto his arm. It was weird to think of at the moment, as she felt his arm and soon her entire body begin to shake, but she'd never expected to be within five feet of someone who she assumed hated her for just existing. Yet here she was, gripping his wiry arm and praying that he'd taken enough of whatever it was that gave him powers.

It happened fast. Fast enough to send Elara's mind through a loop as it tried to grasp what had just happened to her. One moment she was on solid pavement, and the next she was falling through it. Subconsciously, her hand held onto Watt's arm tighter. She stood in what she assumed was the sewers for a few moments in complete shock. Her eyes were wide, and she panted as if she'd just ran a marathon. It took her a bit before she regained the ability to move, and she looked over to Watt's to see that she was still holding his arm like a lifeline. Her face suddenly burned with embarrassment, and she pulled away from him and coddled her hand like a disobedient toddler.

"S-sorry... I... What just happened?" She swallowed, and turned away from him so that he wouldn't see the look of horror on her face. Instead, she busied herself with peering into the darkness around them. Arthur's question reminded her that they were still in danger. She turned to Longshot, her jaw tense as she stared. "Get us the hell out of here, now." She wasn't sure how much longer she could stand all of this.

"Cool this is starting to be a bit like Star Wars!" Andrew said happily as Casey handed him one of the blasters that the soldiers had. This was cool in his mind if it weren't for the tiny problem of having to deal with the idea of potentially dying in this real world. He wondered if the soldiers were as great of marksmen as the Storm Troopers in the movies were. If that was the case then they had nothing to really worry about, but so far it seemed like that wasn't the case, which sucked horribly.

"Well I'm all for getting out of here," Sapphire said right before Watts more or less grabbed onto everyone and phased through the ground. She was really hoping that he knew what he was doing, and that they weren't all going to die by suffocating trapped in concrete. That would be an incredibly horrible way to go now that she thought about it. Actually, wait, this wasn't a good place to be in, her breathing was going faster and faster as she started panicking somewhat regarding the whole situation. She was trying to remain calm as the group landed in the sewers, which were fairly dark over all.

Longshot pulled out a light source of sorts to make it a bit easier for them. "Yeah, I've been down here more then a few times, hope you guys don't mind the smell or something, and it's best not to think about what is causing the smell," he said to them. The sewer system was pretty small overall, at least the tunnel they were in was somewhat small, and there was darkness running alongside the path they had landed on (it was more of water, or probably something you would hope is water). "We need to keep moving, there is a place not far from here where we can hide out and hope that Spiral decides to show up."

He seemed to be ignoring Elara's attempts to be threatening, which Andrew found to be amusing, and it also kept his mind off of the thought that they were not in an open area. Enclosed spaces were not one of his happy places, and he was finding a decent amount of ways to distract himself from that thought. "...Going to be blunt, phasing through the ground was kind of awesome," he commented towards Watts, more or less somewhat giving him a compliment about the thought of just attempting that.

"Yeah sure, bravo we aren't dead, now can we please get out of the sewers?" Sapphire interjected, it was clear that being stuck in a somewhat small space was bugging her, a lot, ad she seemed to be somewhat freaking out over it. Yup, claustrophobia was not a fun thing, but considering the fact that she hadn't been expected to suddenly land in a small space, that was to be expected. Why couldn't they have ended up in a slightly larger area. Anything would have been better then this.

"Well, follow me and we'll hopefully not have to deal with anything, though there are some rats down here, but pretty sure they aren't the ones you'd typically find on Earth," he added as he started walking along.

Evelyn and Casey both looked at Watts for a moment, and both grabbed onto him before they both felt themselves falling through the ground and then landing directly into the sewer system of the city that they were now in. Evelyn moved her shirt over her nose the moment she could smell the foul stench of the sewer system. "Yeah i'm not even going to question it either.." Evelyn said as she looked around the sewers that they were now in and made her way over towards Watts. Though she was really grateful for his quick thinking on getting them all out of there quickly, he was still stuck in a child's body.

"Don't go overboard on that stuff, you nearly had a heart attack back home last time. I'm not a medical expert or anything, but you being in a kids body and pumping yourself with drugs probably isn't a good idea at all." Evelyn said, she considered him a friend even if he was an asshole to a lot of the others a lot of the time. She looked over at the others who all seemed to be doing fine as well, luckily none of them were stuck in phased into a wall, that never really ended up well for those who did get themselves stuck.

Casey looked towards Andrew and gave him a slight smile and nodded, since he didnt really have any other weapons on him right now it was better than using nothing at all. Casey looked at the others having the blaster rifle still at the ready just in case the stormtrooper wannabes ended up finding them all down here. "Lead the way Longshot." Casey said calmly, as she looked around the sewers system wondering where they would end up bumping into more of them.

The smell didnt bother her at all, though she was more worried about if there was anything flammable down here and if firing the blaster would trigger any kind of explosion. "What is this place that you know about?" Casey asked Longshot, she didnt fully trust him just yet since he was buddies with Spiral and all, who had originally brought them all here in the first place. The only good thing that did really come out of it was saving both Watts and Andrew at the same time from dying.

Watts gave Elara a curt nod. He didn't mind her holding onto his arm tightly that much - phasing was a weird and terrifying experience, especially to the uninitiated. Perhaps he was going a bit softer on her than he normally would, yet he hardly knew her. He had known Elara longer as a small child than he really had as an adult. In many ways, her small and pathetic form engaged an almost paternal, protective instinct in him. However, his face then wrinkled in displeasure as the smell hit him - it was almost overbearing. Watts wasn't one to typically go waltz around in sewers. He wasn't exactly sure what he had expected but this... was not it.

Longshot's light illuminated their surroundings slightly. He could see the murky water lapping at their feet. What most caught his attention was how narrow and cramped everything was. If a fire fight happened down here, there was a good chance those with ranged weapons would risk hurting others in their little group. Bullets could ricochet. His eyes darted over to the archer. Arrows could miss. "Thanks, kid," he grunted to Andrew, even though they looked to be about the same age. "I'm fine," he then told Evelyn curtly. He knew the risks of taking the speed serum in that high a dosage. But if he hadn't done it, they would be dead or captured - and he wasn't sure which was worse with Mojo.

"How long does it typically take Spiral to make contact?" Arthur asked Longshot. He didn't mind the smell. He had smelled worse. His mind was focused on the practical matters - how did they get to the next point, how did they take the next step? He could worry about the bigger picture once they had gotten to safety. The mention of rats brought his mind back to Krakoa. There had been... rats there as well. Arthur hoped ones like that weren't lurking down here with them, though he kept his bow at the ready all the same.

The mechanical girl, Casey, was the only one that seemed to have a similar single minded focus on getting to safety. The others hadn't asked yet what sort of place Longshot was taking them to. Arthur judged her to be the most practical. The little girl, Elara, she... she wasn't built for this sort of fight. The ice witch, Sapphire, was hard and yet afraid at the same time. He couldn't get a good read on Belladonna, she seemed quiet. The two boys were both scientists or engineers, neither of them warriors.

Bella hated it. She had never been phased through anything before. If she needed to get somewhere, she relied on well-established means. Stairs. Escalators. Elevators. Hell, she could parkour her way un a fence, but never phase. It left her feeling sick, which was just great considering they had managed to wind up in the sewers. Bella was not one to show emotion but she felt some strong feelings about this. She would have taken a deep breath if that would not have been filled with sewer mist.

"Let's just move on and get out of here." She didn't say it to anyone in particular as she walked. Because she was tired of all of this. She didn't know about the others, but she would see whoever brought them to this world would meet a cruel end. She would see to that. She never did much for personal vengeance, but she warranted that all of this rolled up nicely into a contract she would happily sign to see them die.

She gave a weak smile, aware that eyes were on her, however briefly. If they only knew.

Elara

Location: Mojo... world?

Longshot was ignoring her. Elara huffed and crossed her tiny arms. She gave him her best icy glare before Andrew's comment broke through her frustration. She let out a breath through her mouth in a little puff. Watts didn't seem to hate the fact that she'd been in his bubble of space for too long, so that was good. She wouldn't readily ask to phase through solid ground again, but she did have to admit that it was a unique ability to have. Yeah, fine, it was cool.

Sapphire always let the group know what was really important. Not phasing through the ground, a little bit about surviving Mojo's goons, but getting to the safe location was their goal. Elara was looking forward to having a moment to rest. If they could be safe for a few hours, Elara wouldn't mind it at all. "Does this safe house have an alien version of McDonald's nearby?" She murmured to herself and whoever was listening. Something about being young again made her crave chicken nuggets.

She took up a spot behind Andrew as they followed the asshole. She rose an eyebrow when Arthur asked Longshot about Spiral. So many questions. Barely any answers. Was this a trap? Elara watched the back of Longshot's head. What would it take to bring a guy like him to the ground? His body was a lot stronger since he was still an adult. The only person in the room that could probably stand against him in a physical fight would probably be Watts because of his speed alone. The rest? She wasn't so sure.

Sapphire could just turn him into an man-sized iceberg if she got a good shot in. Arthur had his arrows, but lately any direct attack like that was easily sent in other directions. The sewers weren't a great place for wayward weapons. That also took Belladonna and Evelyn out of the picture unless they fought without their weapons. Andrew too, with his stolen blaster.

If, IF, things went any further south than the sewers, it would be best to disorient Longshot so that the others could get a chance at him. Elara happened to be an expert at it, when the rolls were in her favor. One little change in Longshot's perspective, and he could believe that the tube the sewers created was a long vertical fall. How would he react, if his world shifted so drastically? Elara would find out once Longshot presumably turned against them.

She happened to look at Bella as she stepped over a puddle of- Please just be water. Please just be water. Bella looked just as uncomfortable as Elara felt. Her smile wasn't genuine, or courageous. Bella was probably missing Earth too. As cool as an alien planet would be, if they weren't being hunted down by a psycho slug, Elara was just ready to get the hell off of it. Or at least out of this dimension. Home sweet home. She thought as she continued down the path.

"Where we're going, there are a lot of people, actually not the Spineless Ones, like what Mojo is, but normal humans for the most part... Just forced into slavery on this planet. It'll be an easy place to blend in and lay low, especially since they all know who I am, and I typically am the one dragged out of this place. Just know that it isn't the best place around, but it's better then nothing..." Longshot responded, just leading the way through the sewers.

Andrew was trying to figure out what all was even really going on with the group. Since they were all not even really acting like a team, but weren't they supposed to be one? They seemed to be arguing, or just getting annoyed with each other for the most part, something that he found weird. But hey, he at least had this cool blaster now that Evelyn had handed him, so that was something! Of course knowing his luck he'd probably shoot someone on his side if he actually had to fire it, but at least these sort of thoughts were distracting!

"Look, can we just get the hell out of here already?"

"We're almost there, be patient."

"Yeah, well we've been walking for a while, it smells horrid, and you didn't answer the kid with the bow's question about Spiral. So sorry for not really wanting to care too much for being here in a sewer system."

"The thing about Spiral is that she can't exactly risk getting caught by Mojo herself, so why would she show up so quickly? It might take a little bit for her to show up. Since right now, she's probably being told by Mojo to essentially track us down, or more or less at least track you all down."

"So, this whole adventure definitely keeps getting better and better right?"

"It could be worse you know... Like we could still be stuck in that weird show... Also the rest of you could have had your memories disappear to make things worse so... There are a million different ways we should count ourselves lucky about..."

"Not seeing how."

"How about you stop complaining, since we're here," Longshot eventually said, after the group had walked for quite a while down the sewers pathway. They were at a ladder that led upwards and there was a grate or something at the top. He instantly started climbing up the ladder, opening up the grate, and he slipped up to the area above. "You all coming?"

Andrew slung the gun that Evelyn had given him across his back, since thankfully the weapon had a strap, and he started to climb. The ladder wasn't exactly the most stable thing in the world as he ended up reaching the area up above, poking his head to glance around a bit, before he pulled himself up. "Whoa..." he muttered under his breath, as the part of the city they ended up in seemed to be not exactly the best place in the universe. It was fairly dark in the area, and it almost looked like a homeless encampment there, with almost like small tents all around the place. There were also quite a few people who waved half heartedly towards Longshot.

"So... Who wants to go up the rickety ladder next?" Sapphire asked the others.

Evelyn followed the others along listening to them as they spoke, while still being on full alert looking around for anything that could jump out at them. She just hoped that there wasn't any kind of sewer monster that jumped out at them that would really suck as well, Evelyn stared at Longshot. She didn't know what he meant by Spinless ones, but she assumed that it was Mojo, she adjusted the blaster rifle that she managed to snag off of the stormtrooper wannabes she was glad to have a better weapon not that she didn't mind the knives that she found either.

"Lets just hope that she shows up right away and we all can get back to normal and back home, I really hate being this short." Evelyn said, until they were now at a ladder looking towards Sapphire for a moment and gave her a slight smile. "I'll go next then." She said as she started to climb up the ladder shortly behind Longshot strapping the rifle over her shoulder as she did so. And came up to the surface seeing what looked like a large tent city at least they weren't in the sewers anymore.

Casey looked towards Sapphire and gave a slight shrug and followed shortly behind Evelyn until she was on the top again stepping aside to let the others get up as well. Seeing the large tent city of sorts, and some of the people waving at Longshot she still wasn't to sure if he could be trusted but they didn't have a choice really either. "We just need to find building to lay low in then, or a tent I guess." Casey said, as she looked down at the others who were still down there.

"It's safe to come out." Casey said as she scanned the area, though anyone of them could be someone who worked for Mojo they didn't make themselves known yet. Casey strapped the rifle she snagged earlier over her shoulder, but she eyed them individually if they did attack or did anything suspicious.

Elara

Location: Mojo... world?
Skills: N/A

Listening to Longshot, it sounded like he'd escaped Mojo's TV shows quite often. Part of her felt sympathy for him. That he kept getting sent back into them. Another part of her felt even more suspicious of him. After so many failed attempts to hide from Mojo, how could they guarantee that this wasn't the first place Mojo would look for them? The guy definitely had a few screws loose. Who wouldn't after being brainwashed so many times?

Sapphire and Longshot began to bicker. Elara sighed and shook her head. Just focus on where you're stepping. We'll be there in no time. She watched the ground, making an effort to avoid any random debris or questionable wetness in the sewers. She usually didn't care about mud or trash, but sewage waste? You had to be downright disgusting to trod through it without a care.

Hearing Andrew's comment brought some light over their situation. Elara smiled softly and looked his way. She shrugged her shoulders and tilted her head, even though Sapphire and Longshot tried to dismiss his comment when they approached a ladder. "You're right, Andrew. We could still be stuck in the show."

She looked forwards and watched as Longshot, Andrew, Evelyn, and Casey made their way up the surface. For a second, she waited to hear shouting and the commotion of Mojo goons from up above. Before she could hear anything, Casey's head poked into their view from down below. Elara felt the tension in her shoulders slack. If Casey said it was safe, Elara would believe her.

Elara slowly stepped up to the ladder and looked at Sapphire. "I'm still not sure if I trust either of them, but I've got your backs." She gripped the bars and turned her head to the opening. "Let's get back to Earth so we can kick Gardner's ass." With that said, she climbed her way to the top.

Once up, she straightened out her shirt and took use of the flower hairtie around her wrist. She pulled her hair up into a ponytail and surveyed the room as she tied it in place. The sight was... well, it wasn't great. It looked like even alien planets had countless homeless civilians. Was this just Earth.2, or actually a different planet?

"Are all of these people hiding from Mojo?" She asked Longshot.

⚡John Watts⚡ and 🏹 Arthur Twist 🏹

Location: Mojoworld - Sewers -> Hobo Camp
Skills: N/A
Watts heard Elara's comment about McDonalds and he couldn't help but smile in spite of himself. Before his divorce, he would take Leda and Stephen through the drive through. They were never more quiet than on the car ride back home, gorging themselves on the (admittedly pretty substandard) nuggets and fries. Those had been good days. He missed getting to see Leda, as she lived in England with his ex-wife's family. Stephen was off at college. He supposed he had a bit of an empty nest, something he wasn't accustomed to. He made a silent vow that once all of this was over, he and Stephen were going to England to visit Leda. Family was more important than anything else.

He frowned, not satisfied with Longshot's answer either. Everything seemed to just be another direction to wait. They were supposed to just relax and wait for Spiral in this safe house of sorts that Longshot was routinely dragged out of. Their guide seemed to be a massive idiot with a hero complex, given that he had escaped this place before and didn't have enough good sense to stop coming back. He pitied Spiral's attachment to him. He had to imagine that every time Longshot was captured again, Spiral was tempted to just whack his head off with one of her swords and wash her hands of the entire mess.

Watts scrambled up the ladder, his eyes widening a bit. It looked like a picture of a Hooverville during the Great Depression.

Arthur grit his teeth, making his way carefully and lithely up the ladder. On the other side, he was struck with a sense of awe - and admiration. While the others likely saw the weakness and poverty, he saw their strength. These people were managing to survive despite the hand dealt to them. He knew all too well how easy it was to give into despair, to just waste away. They were still fighting, still demanding of themselves to carry on. He wondered how many of his companions would be able to do the same, marooned in a land that was unwelcoming, forced to fend for themselves like a stray dog.

"How often do they raid?" he then asked Longshot. If there was no telling when Spiral was going to show up, at least he hoped Longshot would know how long until Mojo came to look for them there. If he were Mojo, this would have been one of the first places to go search. It struck him as a bit odd that they had allowed this place to stand. Maybe Mojo got some joy out of this sick, depraved game of his - capturing people, torturing them, wiping their minds, letting them loose, and catching them just to repeat the cycle. "We should secure a perimeter."

Belladonna

Location: Unknown -> Hobo Camp
Skills: N/A

Bella followed the others, keeping an eye on Longshot. She still didn't trust the man. Part of what this world showed her is that not everything was as it seemed. For all she knew, he was leading them right into a trap. They were in the sewer system, after all. Perfect place for an ambush. She scanned her surroundings though. Nothing felt off to her. Soon, they came upon the ladder. Bella considered Longshot's words before she let everyone else climb up first. Then, she followed suit.

Once above, she saw what appeared to be a hobo camp. She was not unfamiliar with the site itself. She had, after all, killed the man who was, by all intents and purposes, her father. And she was never placed in the system, never brought to an orphanage, never adopted by loving parents. She took to the streets which meant she spent a decent amount of time in camps like this. It could be a home unlike anything else or a prison, depending on who asked.

Bella didn't want to stay here, per se, but it could be worse. "I'll go with the perimeter set-up. I know a bit about how these types of camps run."

Sapphire waited until everyone else climbed up the ladder before she eventually made her way up. At least no one had shouted or gone back down the ladder, so there didn't seem to be any problems going on, so she climbed upwards and found herself by where the others now were, glancing around the entire area. It was rather small, but there were a lot more people here than she had expected. Like a lot more. There easily was a few dozen people within view, but it was obvious that there were a lot more further along. That was not the best thing in the world. "There are a lot of people here..." she finally commented.

"Yup there are... And yeah they all are, but we all know that Mojo knows this place is here. He's known from the start, and every so often a few people disappear. A few of the lucky ones come back after a few days, the unlucky ones we don't typically hear from again. They come by about once a week or so though, last time was probably around... Three days ago or so, which is when I ended up getting caught..."

"If you don't mind me asking... Why do you keep coming back here? Why don't you just try and run away?" Andrew spoke up.

"Because of all of them," he said, nodding his head towards the little town of tents. "I can't just leave them all behind. I've tried to help them all fight back, so that I can get them all to a ship and out of here, but... Well, considering the fact that we're all still here says something about how well that worked out for us isn't it?"

"Wow..."

"Yup... Anyway, if you want to set up a perimeter, we have some people who keep an eye out on a few small lookout perches we have set up," he continued, pointing towards one of the few actual structures that was there, "That's one of the lookout spots, there are a few others just like it scattered about this little town, you can also see there is a small wall of sorts you can somewhat walk along if you manage to climb up onto the ledge. It's not much, but it typically gives us enough of a warning to know when they get here."

Another thought crept through Andrew's mind, and it was something that wasn't going to go away anytime soon. It was an important sort of question, since at least their group had been brought to Mojoworld by Spiral. They knew where they came from, but what about Longshot? "Hey Longshot, question, um... How did you ever end up here? Cause we were brought here from Earth, and you said Spiral originally came from Earth too. So how did you, or any other people actually, end up here of all places?"

"I actually was more or less "born" here, I use that term lightly though, since I'm an artificially created being. Mojoworld is all I've ever really known. It's not the best of lives, but can't do much about it really."

Casey looked around for a moment and then over towards the others as Longshot started to talk a little bit more about himself and his past, and why he got caught and how these people would occasionally get picked up by Mojo's people. She decided to go and help out with the perimeter, turning to look at all of the other members. "I'm going to go and help make a perimeter, as well." Casey said, she wanted to make sure that there weren't any men of Mojo's who would come back for them and she wanted to be ready. She unslung her rifle and started to make her way towards one of the makeshift perimeter towers.

As she climbed up the little makeshift ladder Casey looked around the area seeing what looked to be some ships flying around in the distance. Casey wasn't sure if they were ships like the spotlight one when they initially got out of their TV show prison, she kept a pretty close eye on them. But so far there wasn't anything else that would really stick out to her either right now and everything was safe for the most part for now.

Evelyn remained with the group, still having the rifle that she stole on her back for the time being she watched Casey making her way off to one of the perimeter towers that Longshot had pointed out. She started to look at the people who were there, Evelyn did feel bad for all of them. As she started to think maybe bringing them back to Earth with them could be helpful. "Could we maybe help send them back to Earth?" Evelyn asked, him while they initially came here to save Watts from dying from speed serum overdose, and also to get Andrew back.

"That is if you and Spiral could do it? It would get your people to safety, and then they could possibly be protected from Mojo?" Evelyn suggested, while looking at the other members of the team wondering if they would agree with it or not. Though none of them were from Earth she just hoped that they would be able to adapt there as well.

Elara

Location: Mojo... world?
Skills: N/A

Elara surveyed the masses as Longshot explained the history. A whole crowd of Mojo's victims in one place, and no one was acting against him? Or plotting a rebellion? What kind of power did Mojo have, that he could subdue all of these people? It was a grim realization.

"Is there anything we could to do help?" She asked suddenly. She turned to Longshot, her face revealing her emotions. "How could Mojo do this to his people without any backlash? Have there been uprisings before?"

She found herself wondering if Mojo was hard to kill and was shocked by her sudden change in morals. She'd only kill out of self defense. It was only out of sheer luck that she hadn't had to kill before. Was this what this type of job required? The steel to kill an enemy? Elara struggled with the thought, but she found herself relating to Bella or any other member of this group that made killing sound so easy.

"If we inspired them to fight back, would there even be a chance that we'd overtake Mojo?"

If that wasn't an option, Elara wondered if they could get another audience with Mojo. She'd seen this group in action. Surely they could take him down, if there wasn't a chance they'd be sent back to a warped reality the second they were caught by his men.

[color=E5D0FF]"There has to be something we can do to stop this."[/color.] Without getting killed, of course.
