A man jumps off the roof, and lands on the groaning figure, driving a sword though it's head. "Die, you vile abomination!" He looks up, and sees them. He quickly yanks his sword out of the ground, and points it's black stained blade at them. "Who are you? How did you survive in this living crypt?"

"Why...? Why can't I see it? WHY CAN'T I SEE IT?" As far as both of you can tell, whatever this thing is, Ariues' mind can't see it. Its magic goes beyond the Paladins sight.

It walks out of the darkness.

Mystery person

"Who are you?" He holds out his arm, and a owl perches on his glove. There's an aura of power around him.

Margaret gets out of the carriage and goes around it, drawing her needles. "I could ask you the same thing." This person seems to be powerful, but she's handled herself for nearly four centuries, and this person gave her no reason to fear him.

"I asked first, madam. Are you with the Unliving?"

Book-worm would just outright relay the physical appearance of the monsters as well as the stranger. They'd also mention the aura of power and would strain their eyes to see whether or not the person themselves was magic or if it came from a specific item on them. The process would take several minutes though.

Bookworm would also relay the stranger's message to Ariues.

"Fine. I have come looking for the great Evil, and no I am not with the Unliving, so I must thank you. Now it is your turn, stranger."

"No no. I am a Paladin for Castor, and these are my friends, neither being of the Unliving. Who are you?" Ariues says as he moves his head around, trying to pinpoint the source of the voice.

"I am Druid Kolpec. Keeper of nature."

Margaret curtsies politely. "Pleasure, Sir Kolpec. I am Margaret Fay," she picks up her skirts and makes her way back to the carriage.

Book-worm did find it odd or rather rare to see a druid that used a sword. It was, something rare to hear of from their experiences and reading. None the less they kept their focus on seeing the magic around or coming from the druid. They wanted to know why the source that was blocking the Paladin's sight of them.

Their own mind's eyes should start seeing results about now from the strain.

He seems to emanate a green, healthy energy. The area around his helmet seems warped and twisted, as if in a heatwave.

Hearing Ariues, Margaret turns back to the Druid, frowning. "If I may, where is that magic coming from?"

[Shadow Dragon]

"What do you mean?" He looks at his weapon as if expecting it to be glowing. "I'm not using my sword right now."

[Skinner35]

The Paladin then hops off the Carriage, moving towards the Druid, holding his hand out. "If I may, friend. I can't see. If I could make contact, it would allow me to see you. We mean nor you or Nature any harm. Please." He says cautiously. He's never not been able to see someone.

His sword? What is going on with his head? "What are you hiding?" she asks quietly. "I know your name, and I have yet to see your true face."

it's mostly in his helmet. bookworm would send to both Margaret and Ariues.

we doubt this man's claim to be a druid but we do see they have magic. It is, interestingly unsettling.

"Oh. Oh. That's what you mean. That would be my helms power, paladin." He touches the blind man, but he remains as invisible as before.

"Ah, that does make sense. I understand the want to remain unseen. But, this at least allows me to see you, even if only by touch." He says as he visibly calms down. He takes the physical contact to study the Druid. "Now that we're all acquainted, what brings us together, friend?"

"A healthy hatred of the moving corpses."
