No, haha. That's just the inspection period. It's the time we have to find out if there's a reason we would need to back out of the contract. The official closing date is in July, so it's a while away! Also, we have the budget to do a couple small remodels in the bathrooms and kitchen, so we might not be moving in until even later than that, so we can have all the work done before we start putting in furniture :)

Yeah, I can imagine Cas is going to be frustrated when he's forcibly separated from Iris. He'd want to leave the hospital as soon as possible to get to her, even though his father and/or the doctors might want him to stay put to recover first.

I will! As of right now, I'd just say nothing fatal (obviously) and nothing permanent (i.e: loss of limb or something that would cause blindness or anything like that). I can't think of anything else that would be off limits

Bless him, that would probably be a good time to use the aproveset whilst he is in hospital cause I can't imagine he'd be too happy about the idea of that.

Yeah I thought so! I was thinking a good few broken bones, bruises and some more cuts. Between everything and the mental state poor Cas has been through enough to last a life time bless him.

Yeah, the bank wouldn't let us move that fast, even if we wanted to xD One month before closing is pretty standard for them.

It would be. I could see Atlas giving that order before Cas has a chance to plead with him for her release.

And he really has. I could even see Ethan shooting him somewhere nonlethal, since he's got a gun.
When they get to the capital, it'll be the opposite, since Iris will be the prisoner that time.

I also had a thought. Maybe either instead of or in addition to Iris's ally, the military raids the prison? That could be a way for Cas and Iris to escape. They would slip out while everyone is running around, trying to fight or get away from the soldiers. The ally could unlock the cell for them during the commotion!

Ohhh yes! I'm happy to have Ethan shoot him! His arm is off limits due to his already wound. We could go for his side, leg or other arm? I think those would be not lethal.

Ohhhhh yes okay! That would cause quite the commotion making it easy to slip away! Maybe as they keep movng they overhear a conversation about why they still have to search for his body. The Prince is dead. They could be some left over soldiers from the attack on the rebel base.

We can go with Cas getting shot in the leg. That would also make it more difficult for them to get back, because he wouldn't be able to move quickly.

And yeah, it just feels like it flows better if they overhear a conversation at or near the prison, rather than making an entire separate detour for that part. Cas would be inclined to make a beeline for the capital from there, since he'll realize what had happened.

Ohhh yes! Perhaps when they overhear the conversation they can be like yo this is the Prince but they don't believe them obviously and tell them to scram.

Thus they then beeline for the Capital which shouldn't take them too long as this district would be near it. Not like next door, but they'd be able to make it even with his shot leg!

Doing good so far! I'm just dealing with more phone calls and emails regarding the house and also signing a bunch of petitions for the BLM movement. Busy but productive, so it's good :)

I have to visit the bank today, so I'll be writing a little later after I get back! I'm going soon, so the length of the visit will depend on how busy they are when I get there.
