As a quick aside, I thought it might be worth mentioning that souls are used as a form of currency in chaos space, so Krynne's offer of slaves is also like the equivalent of him giving everyone a big bag of money.

Really starting to feel like I fucked up by playing as an actual ‘up and coming’ chaos worshipper, and not someone with access to a potent Nurgle demon, a fucking astartes, DARK ELDAR (who can’t even worship chaos) or some other incredibly powerful individual.

So, I just realised something thanks to a friend reminding me of a small fact.

Drukhari physically cannot be psykers. Their psychich abilities have massively atrophied to the point where they cannot tap into the warp to ues psychic abiities. There is not a single eldar alive in Commoragh that has psychich talents, so how by Slaneesh's third nippled scrotum does Lesara manage it? Also, and not to beat this point to death, I understand that they're willing to associate with Mon'Keigh, but why are they willing to associate with people who actively worship the deity that would quite like to destroy their immortal souls?

I think the CS explained it. Psykers aren't allowed in commorragh but it's a place where rules to be broken. There's a key kaballite what wears the psychic skin of a farseer and gets away with it because he was rich and powerful

@Lady Selune it's not so much that they can't, but rather that they just don't due to the risk of drawing the attention of 'she who thirsts'. I'm pretty sure the dark eldar soul SUCC ability is a sort of innate psy-based skill anyway....

Besides, even though the two of us are starting out weak, I'd imagine we'll have better in-game scaling.

So.

Dark Eldar aren't incapable of being psykers. All Eldar are still innate psykers, the ability of Dark Eldar to manipulate their psychic potential has atrophied over thousands of years of negligence and culling, but, their ability to 'feed' off the pain and suffering of others is still only possible 'because' the entire eldar race has 'some' potential. The sheet answers why she wasn't murdered at birth because she wasn't born in the dark city, she was born as an exile, and the Drukhari's realspace/minor webway ports make the Dark City look like a bastion of law and order. I do specifically mention this a few times in the sheet.

Secondly. Dark Eldar have a fairly well-established history of fighting alongside all sorts, there are both Dark Heresy and Black Crusade official adventures which feature them. It's not that they enjoy doing it, or are unaware of the risks, it's that a combination of greed, a need to survive, and ambition push them to do so. That and there are specific unrevealed plot points which they are working towards, but that would be spoilers.

I do hope that clears things up, if you require me to cite sources, I can.

That's a very reasonable concern, I normally find myself playing the 'average joe' of most 40k casts of rp'ers. I personally find some amount of fun in that, but admittedly it can be bothersome to feel left behind. If it helps, the dark eldar are very much there to help with the general plot, as I know Bloodrose very well. That being said, I still wouldn't put them as more powerful than an Astartes in most situations. I personally think you will have plenty of opportunities to play to your character's strengths, it may be a warhammer rp, but it's not just about who can swing the biggest stick, not even remotely.

@Lady Selune from your character's description it didn't seem they're the combat sort so you shouldn't be really worried about competing with immortals?
