Usually a jovial kind of guy, mostly pretty friendly, laid-back and cheerful, Scott is the kind of person it's easy to get along with well. Despite his apparently flippant and oblivious, some might say naive, nature, he is nonetheless a professional with a determined and practical streak. He will do his best to protect his friends and allies, and loves his life as a pilot - despite the fact that he, sometimes, wonders about missed opportunities, and the people he'd left behind.
Scott has a sturdy, strong build and a 'presence' to his appearance. He has thick, strong limbs, and broad shoulders, though something of a barrel-chested appearance. He has sandy-blonde, short hair and grey eyes, and a square jaw, almost like a 1950's comic book hero.

Scott drifted through school; being a military kid, he never made much in the way of friends, and often had to overcome being 'the new kid'. Despite his friendly and outgoing disposition, he was often bullied and picked on, and ended up getting a rep as a 'problem child' from less-than sympathetic staff and faculty and many schools. Nonetheless, he managed to persevere at school, and still made a few friends. He often ended up sticking up for others who would be bullied or picked on, and gained a reputation among his fellow kids for looking after them.
Eventually, he took a scholarship offer from the Air Force for College, and graduated. His time at College was also propped up with time in the Antrean Cadet Corps which gave him an edge when attending OTS. His long-time interest had been in becoming a pilot, after seeing aircraft overhead at many postings his father had been on.
His career as a pilot was centered around ground-attack aircraft, close-air support, interdiction and all other aspects of air-to-ground combat. Over his service, he also served as a Forward Observer, working with ground troops to guide aircraft attacks accurately onto target by communicating with pilots in the air. He returned to the cockpit after serving two tours in this capacity, and was noted for his performance in this role. Since then, his range of skills and experience have been put to use extensively, and he has flown many sorties as a ground attack pilot, with type-ratings and experience in several different aircraft types.

Despite a successful career, and for the most part one without any problems, Scott has earned himself a particular black mark on his record. During a posting to a far-eastern base, he came into firm disagreement with an officer outranking him, primarily due to their behaviour towards a female service member. They eventually came to blows, and Scott was forced to take a week of time in the stockade, while the officer was demoted and removed from his position - and maintained a grudge against Scott, making negative notes about his service and career whenever possible, if they ever came into contact again.
