The plot:
Once upon a time, in a once unknown land, a kingdom of humans lived in peace. They had a beautiful princess who ruled over them, along with her cousin. Her cousin was the ambassador of their lands and he was good at his job. Anyway, it was thanks to them that they lived in such peace with no threat of war.
Everyone loved their princess. They considered her to be the kindest and most beautiful maiden in all the land. Some of the women were jealous and envious of her. All the young men had their eye on her, especially since she was yet to marry and have a prince to rule the kingdom with her. Times were wonderful.
However, one day, terrible tragedy struck.
It seemed like a normal day. Everyone was working, tending to their children, and so on. Nothing was all that different. Then, a cloud of smoke floated over the kingdom. The sounds of many stomping footsteps approached from the northern border. They approached quickly before anyone could really react.
The princess came out of her castle to see what was happening. She gasped at the army before her. It was an army of fierce goblins! Before she could utter a word, their leader stepped forward. He was the most fierce of them all. The brute narrowed his eyes at her and simply said one thing: "you're mine."
The princess gasped. She shook her head.
"I only wish to marry for love!"
That was her declaration.
Furious, the goblin leader, their king, declared war on them all. He and his army left, setting up came just outside the human kingdom. A war was about to break out. Fear filled the air. Women were sobbing. Men were lashing out in anger. Their peace was broken. They now had to be ready to defend themselves.
But, the goblin king gave them an option, the only condition that would make him call of his armys' attack.
Either the princess married him, or she would loose her kingdom in bloodshed.
Now, what was she to do? Never had she felt so helpless...
