Marin shoves the ring into Jason’s hands and returns to Damocles. “Damocles.” It’s the first time she’d ever said his name by itself.

Jason narrowed his eyes. He was suspicious. He didn't follow her at first. But upon seeing Emily, he ran to her. The ring was in his hand as he did so. The spell was broken and Emily gasped when she found herself in that spot, and wearing a wedding dress. she went into a rage at first until Jason hugged her. They were both sobbing after that. Jason soon, awkwardly, had the ring on Emilys' ring finger. She kissed him in return.

He slowly turns to her. "What?"

“Emily and Jason are together now, happy and engaged. I thought you might want to know. One more thing, I never served you, I saw you as an equal, but now I will go to find a path on my own. Perhaps a life in the world of humans,” she looks out the window.

He laughs sadly, that gradually gets darker.

Marin frowns. “What?”

Emily and Jason made to leave. But, quickly got lost. Emily and Jason frowned.

Angel Phillips was on her way to visit her cousin, whom she heard was back in town. She frowned when she heard the news.
"How could you do that to her?"
She had soon confronted her aunt and uncle. When she saw a picture of the sorcerer, she blinked. He looked familiar to her. She wondered if they met before.

He swipes his hand, lighting the way down the hall, and inadvertently lighting the hallways for Jason and Emily. He strides out of the building, staff in hand, and kindles blue flames at his fingers. "Why don't I remember him?"

Jason and Emily blinked. But they didn't question it. They quickly left. They were happy to be reunited. Of course, Emily had plans to never see hide nor hair of her parents again after what they did.

Angel was outside. She was pacing.
"Where have I seen him before?"

He walks out to the street, every step he takes heavy, not seeing Angel.

Jason took Emily back to his apartment.

Angel was walking down the street. She wasn't watching where she was going. She gasped when she bumped into the sorcerer. She saw him then and gasped.
"You!"

He takes a step back. "Who...?" He looks at her. "What?"

Angel glared at him.
"You took Emily! What kind of monster agrees to that sort of thing!"
She was a fiery spitfire like Emily was, even if her temper was a bit milder. She didn't fear him either.

He sighs, white knuckling his staff. "And then I let her go, to be with the man she loves. I even lost......I don't know what she was, anymore. A assistant? A worker? A badly mistreated friend?" His eyes blaze blue. "Her parents agreed for an arranged marriage. I was unaware that that was no longer a custom."

Angel narrowed her eyes, still glaring.
"Why didn't you investigate then?!"
She tried to punch him. She was furious.

He catches her fist in his own, and shrugs. "I had little reason to think otherwise. I lived in that time frame."

Angel gasped. She glared at him.
"Let me go!"
She struggled against his grip. She was about to be furious.
