Marin sighs as she speed reads through a book. She glances up at Eric. “Want to help?”

"If you'd like me too."

Marin nods. “It would help to speed this up.” She pauses, reading, then adds with a soft smile, “but I do appreciate your company either way.”

He did his best to help her.

Marin reads through a stack quickly.

Eric went through some of the other books.

He flips thought a few more book, and smiles. "Found it!" He sets a gold inlaid book on a desk, and flips though it to find the page again. "There. He has several titles..." He keeps reading, trying to find anything useful about him.

Marin looks up, and winces a little when she realizes she was reading the books, not skimming through them.

He looks up at her and grins. "Enjoying your reading?"

Eric blinked and quickly turned to look at the sorcerer.

Marin tucks the book under her arm. “What do we have?”

He sets the book down on the table, open. "There. Let's see.....he was a powerful wizard, well renowned.....hum....ah, He was rumored to have a second child that he told none about, but all records of them has been lost. It seems that he hid the existence of a daughter to keep her safe from an invading army."

Eric blinked.
"maybe...I guess. but it would be more like great great grandmother since he was my great great great grandfather."
He was speechless after that.
