After a little while, Marin shifts slightly to hide the red, puffy eyes and the tear stains. She leaves the bathroom with a faint smile. “Sorry about that. My body’s not used to human food.”
Angel nodded at first. but then she blinked. She frowned and sighed. She looked away. "Perhaps I should go." She turned to leave. Her back was towards them now.
Marin sighs and crosses her arms. “Maybe I do maybe I don’t. But I didn’t choose that, I chose you, and I’m standing by my decision hell or high water so don’t you dare try to tell me to leave because you also deserve something. A second chance.”
Angel sighed. "That is something that has not changed...you are as stubborn as you were before you lost your memory." She looked at him. "listen to someone else for once."
He smiles sadly. "If there's always a perfect balance of the two, then you must be some of the best people on earth, to counteract everything I've done."
