Jono had tucked her hands in her pockets and was looking for anyone else, friend or foe, when the girl hands her a feather talisman. She turns back to her with a raised eyebrow. “Keep it. You need all the help you can get. And don’t be afraid to hurt people like them,” she points over her shoulder at the man still unconscious on the ground. “They’re not real. NPCs, like the ones that give you quests.”

"Oh!" Maisy said, more embaressed than anything. "They're so real." If she'd known they were just like the monsters she...well, she would have still be scared but at she felt like she would have fought them.

Seeing as the woman rejected the talisman she put it on herself, admiring it as it hung from her neck. "Everything's so real."

Jono huffs through her nose. “I guess but it’s still a game, so technically it’s a giant neurological game.” She rubs the dried blood off of her face and pulls her hood up. “If you tell anyone who I am or that you met me, your dead meat kid you get me?” On some of her quests, Jono had earned the nickname ‘The Shadow’ because of her skills.

Jace goes to log off and frowns when words flash against his screen warning code has been hacked separation of mind and game no longer exists you die in the game you die in real life jace sweats " youre kidding me funny joke " he says in exclamation and keeps trying to log off

“And I don’t plan on it.” Jono goes to check her inventory, when the warning flashes across the screen. She swears and looks for the ‘log out’ sign. “There’s no way.. shit!”

Jace begins to panic " oh no oh no " he says and hyperventilates

Scott has just laid down in his coffin. It closed and locked, but before he officially logged in, the warning popped up on the screen in front of him. “Oh no.” He said, reaching around for a way to stop the login sequence.
It was too late. He found himself standing in a field, but it wasn’t himself. It was Boulder.

Jace had panicked and almost passed out from hyperventilating , eventually he calmed himself down deciding that panicking wouldn't do anything to help him

Standing alone in a field, Boulder noticed a wolf approaching. “Oh come on. Not even a tutorial.” He complained. He deepened his stance. Glad he had watched a couple videos about the game before logging in.

Jace decided it he was going to be trapped he would be smart about it he , began to explore the druidic ruins and found a large tree repurposed as a druid home using magic . He smiled as he walked in and after deciding it was safe began to read the druidic texts in the home

Jono takes a deep breath, before turning to the girl. “We’re stuck here. There’s no way to log out.” She frowns and taps her chin. “Unless...” she taps her screen in a series of motions, and she growls and closes the menu. “There’s no back way either.”

Several rocks pelted the wolf. They didn’t come from Boulder though.
He turned to see four other Earth Mages. “Your stance is too shallow to properly cast.” One of them said. “Earth magic requires a deep stance, and a strong core.” Another continued. “We are the Land Slides.” One stepped forward. “We noticed the logout error, and decided We Earth Mages should stick together.” The supposed leader continued. “Come with us, we’ll help you level up and stay alive.” He said, gesturing for Boulder to join them.
Boulder nodded and went with them.

Jace was very happy in his new home apparently from reading the druids journal there were ruins for every class and even though the druid was just a NPC he was very well thought out . Deciding to keep the journal and continue it jace put it away in his satchel and began to clean his new home

Despite the explanation Maisy opened up her own menu and detached around until she found the "log out" option. When she clicked it though, all she got was the message.

She looked at it, then hit the log out a few more times. Then a few more. Then a few more. Then, just to make sure, a couple more.

But it didn't work. There was really no getting out. She looked around at the woods, the whole area suddenly looking more dangerous despite the warm mid-morning sun and the song of birds.

"We've got to go back to town." She said, trying her best not to panic and clearly failing. "Just get back to town and wait for the...the...the game people to fix this. We can just hang out where it's safe and-"

An thought suddenly hit her. A horrifying, terrible, really really stomach churning thought. She looked in the direction the bandit her new friend had set loose had run off in.

'Didn't you..." She said, unease growing in her voice. "Didn't you tell that guy to gather an army?"

Jace begins to learn the druidic runes and writing witch according to the journal apparently it was a special class thing and only he could understand them " interesting " he says to himself lightly swinging in a hammock made of leaves

Jono raises an eyebrow and she grins wickedly. “Don’t you worry, kid. That army’s something for me to play with. Fantastic practice. Relax, would ya?. If you stress you can’t think straight. If you can’t think straight, you die.” She frowns faintly and crosses her arms. “Your here alone?”

Jace hears a padding then drops down from his hammock and grabs his staff

Once it starts, he locked down his house so he can play in complete privacy, and undresses to his comfort level, then climbs in, feeling the tiny needles prick his skin. He'd made his character already, preordering it, so all he had to do was log on. He closes his eyes. This is gonna be sweet. When he opens his eyes, he's standing on a grassy field.
