Welcome back to The Tower, the crowning jewel of Marlon City. Built on September 12th, 2026, this beacon of Scientific Progress has been responsible for many advancements in every field. Belonging to the Lorne Company, this marvel stands tall in the center of the city, where many bright minds work.
The year is 2049, and the City of Marlon is brighter than ever. Located on the East Coast of the United States of America and the Canadian Commonwealth, this prosperous metropolis draws in every sort of character. Here, Lorne Corporation stands above the rest as they research and develop cutting edge cybernetics and enhancements. Their subsidiaries and rival corporations reside here as well.
On March 26th, late in the evening there was a catastrophic failure at The Tower. One night during a violent storm the top of the tower exploded, causing a cascade of energy to be spread throughout the city. This energy acted as a catalyst creating mutations among the population of Marlon. These mutations granted members of the population with abilities that were beyond human gaining them the name Parahuman. These Parahumans caused mass damage at first as many were unable to control their abilities. Then came the opportunists, those who sought to use these abilities to further their own cause. Some took on criminal lifestyles, some heroic for fame and fortune, others simply sought to help others.
It took a month to bring down the worst of the Parahumans who had changed, Maya Inverness, who went by the name of Monarch, and her companion Jacob Anderson, who named himself The Bloody Baron. It took a further three months before the City settled down into relative normalcy.
Lorne has not been silent on the matter, in fact they aim to study and reverse the effects of the Tower, working diligently with the MPD to achieve this goal. They have developed several nullifiers and facilities to contain the Parahumans they deem a threat. They have developed a scanner that can detect some parahuman abilities, though there are rumors that they will have a finished product in the coming month.
You are one of those affected by the blast. One of those who has survived the Riots and the tremulous reign of Monarch, who's fall to Brightspire still remains as very talked about subject. Several groups have risen in the city. The most notable are The Church of Para, lead by Atom, who's stance is one of aggressive tactics and Parahuman superiority. The Parahuman Protection Society, who's goal is equal rights and protection from harm for those who've been Enhanced. The last is the Aggrieved, those who's change has forced them into insanity, seeking only destruction and chaos they will tear apart the city. They sit contained in the Dark Box, the most fortified prison in the world, run by the MPD.
What will you choose, to search for answers, fight, or work with Lorne? To become a powerful superhero or villain or just keep to your old life? The world is there for your choosing, but remember your actions always have consequences. You can even lose your life if you aren't careful...

Welcome back to The Tower. With Sep's permission I'll be rebooting this and hopefully we can get a good thing going. Lots of twists and turns, and plenty of action to be had. Very open world and there is a steady progressive plot that will be occurring around the Tower.
Just some basic info to cover:
