"Interesting" Ace mused "So whats to stop you from escaping?"

Adamaris shrugged again. "They will stop us."

"I guess thats as good an excuse as any" he enjoyed talking like everything was normal "So...There is a really big sleeping wolf in the room behind me, friend of yours?"

Adamaris touched the wood of John's door. "Yeah he is." She said quietly, looking at the door and smiling faintly.

"I'm sorry if i touched on a rough subject" Ace felt sad, stupid he thought. of coarse the wolf knows the other wolf now shes sad.

Adamaris shakes her head and her smile returns. "No its fine, we do know each other. I think I bonded with him the fastest."

"probably instinctual, wolves tend to bond fast in the wild. Ive no reason to think it wouldnt be any different here. Well at least he has a good friend who cares about him"

"I guess, I thought it was like that for a while but I don't know any more." Adamaris almost frowned but managed to keep her smile.

"oh..OOOH hes your boyfriend" Axel blurted out slightly embarrassed

"I don't know if he is." Adamaris said sheepishly.

Roxy sat up. Vlad was on his way? She wondered if there was enough time escape. She saw Bjorn at the vent and remembered what he had said about her fitting in them.

Vlad was humming made his way through the halls. "Is he awake?"

"He was a wake last time I checked." the guard replied

Marshall was simply wandering the halls, not bothering to terrorize the passing guards. His mind was some where else. He was thinking of this new... "talent" he had now. Being able to turn into a bat monster sounded pretty cool and it kind of was, but what was Vlad talking about more dangerous DNA for? This had Marshall a bit worried to be honest.

"Why do you have eyes for another guy in your program?" He nudged her playfully with an elbow

"Well if old literature has taught me anything, you have to follow your heart it will never lead you astray. Or so I read" he tilts his head in an amused gesture

Adamaris laughed and tilted her head as well. "I don't know if you should trust fiction but some of that is true."

"Sometimes you have to take a chance and believe in something even if its a long shot"

Adamaris smiled and put a supportive hand on his shoulder. "Thank you for the advice."
