They’re really good! It’s been like 3-4 years since the last time I watched the movies, so it’s fun to go through them again.

I am a bit ashamed to admit I watch them every single year.

Oh I just had this idea in my head. Though I doubt his species would be like that. But what if other males of his kind also see her beauty? And one dares to touch her while she doesn't want him to. So she shouts in his language that he can't touch her. And somehow she is able to get him to the ground? It's a bit silly I know, but it was a random thought and decided to share it.

That's a specific enough situation that we can figure it out if or when we get there. I don't have any preferences other than making sure we keep things PG enough to abide by the Guild rules.

Also I may not write until tomorrow because we're dealing with an unexpected crisis situation. It's possibly not safe for us to be at home today, so we're staying with friends until things calm down.

And thanks! It's just a situation we've been dealing with for a couple weeks that escalated unexpectedly. I think things will be fine (we have a plan in place to deal with it if/when we need to) but today will probably just be rough for a while. Hopefully everything will be resolved by tonight.

Currently Azdrei'in isn't thinking about the possibility of a human and an alien being together romantically, but he'll get there later. He also doesn't have a motive for protecting her, since they barely know each other. As they get closer, he'll start to care about keeping her safe too.

I think she can understand. And Artemis knows that his kind is her only way to survive and live at least a bit happy. He kind of makes me think of a Vulcan, more logical beings than emotional beings.

His sense of reasoning is more of an individual characteristic than a racial one, haha. There are other Lunvalgans that are more emotional. He's just more passive :)

It'll probably be surprising to Artemis if/when Drei actually gets excited about something, since he's usually so calm.

Yes it would be. It also would be interesting that they look at the DNA and that it shows up as compatible with one of their race. Like totally unintentional. Like the one that is looking at the DNA accidentally puts it in that program

Yeah. Drei doesn't know much of anything about DNA, so he still hasn't figured it out. It'll be a game changer when they realize humans and aliens can breed though. Then they'll have to figure out if they prefer to have humans be surrogates or actual partners

Also, a lot of the elements in this RP about artificial reproduction remind me of the book Brave New World if you've ever read that.

I don't think I read that book just yet. I should really buy it, it seems. Though it does sort of remind me of that movie, where humans can't get pregnant and then a pregnant girl shows up.

No, it's all good! The barista at Starbucks made my Chai tea stronger than usual, and the caffeine is hitting hard, so I'm having trouble sitting still xD I have a post started but I keep getting up to walk off my excess energy

Would be funny though if the paired male would be some really high up male or even Drei himself.
