Against her kick, Ames was as sturdy as a rock, and Ari could shoot up skywards with little issue at all. She had the strength necessary to get a bit of air time, and the dexterity necessary to pull off a maneuver that was still within the realm of human ability. Spinning in the air, the cat-eared human felt the full effects of a world slowed down to half-speed, her dizzying rotation slowed enough that she could still aim accurately while doing so. The stone in her sling whizzed out towards the spear-wielding kappa, slicing through the air with such force that it took a chip off the turtle-esque creature’s bone-bowl. If it hadn’t already been in the process of charging towards Amulak, the stone would have definitely struck more substantially.

Sensing the trouble at the backline, the human sandwich quickly untangled themselves, rushing to face the green manlet that approached at an ever-increasing speed. Ames, Magpie, and Klein all squared up, forming a vanguard to meet the spear-wielder. Amulak too, had yet another exhilaration-inducing bolt of energy in his palm, ready to thread the needle between his meatshields and score another hit. Everything was lining up!

But before Lugh’s eyes, something strange was occurring. While standing off against the unarmed kappa, the creature, rather than rushing in towards him or for the spear, hopped back instead, hands clapping together thrice. Each time, they were clasped in a different format, arranged in strange crosses or horns. No, was that…

…Water Style Ninjutsu?!

Raime lined up his shot, the kappa having stayed still for a little too long. His crossbow bolt thudded heavily into the kappa’s chest, but the spell was already completed. A ball of water rose up and up from the monster’s bowl, frothing and swirling with torrential power before falling down, not at the two adventurers that checked the kappa’s movements, but rather towards the three vanguards protecting the backline.

“Heechotchaaaa!”

Cold, fishy water blasted against Ames, Magpie, and Klein, bludgeoning them for 12, 22, and 26 points of damage respectively. It was almost enough to force them off their feet, but they held their ground against the magical attack. In that moment however, the spear-kappa circumvented them, dancing around the trio to rush towards Ari and Amulak. The mage’s bolt shot out again, grazing the kappa’s side and cratering the gravelly shore twenty meters away. Ari went in to intercept, but she was unarmored and unarmed; all she could do was throw her body in the way of the charging manlet. The spearpoint cut against her ribcage with the flaring pain of a long papercut, the shallow slice dealing 6 points of damage to her, before the rest of the kappa’s body slammed into her. The catgirl was knocked back, her reflexes enabling her to tumble onto her feet immediately, but the kappa continued onwards.

Now, there was nothing between its spear and Amulak’s throat.

The monster closed in.

Out of everything, wacky ninja magic was definitely something Lew did not expect from these bulky creatures. Still, giving it enough quarter to cast spells meant Lew had failed at his job as a 'tank.' To allow his opponents to freely mess around with his allied camp... No lord would recognize a Samurai as incompetent as himself. It was too late for Lew to help his friends as well, as doing that would just give this Kappa more room to use whatever other tricks it had under its half-shell. Instead, Lew had to focus on the one he was staring down now.

Taking a quick note at the crossbow bolt that hit its chest, Lew gave a quick glance towards Raime, nodding in approval before facing the kappa once more. Controlling his breathing in order to build up more strength for his Power Attack, Lew slowly approached the kappa. His sword was held in front of himself as he kept his eyes on each of the kappa's limbs, waiting to anticipate any of its movements. If it would try to grapple him once more, Lew would avoid the movements of its arms, only continuing to approach farther. Of course, rather than an attack, Lew began to use the threat of a stronger attack to keep the kappa at its toes in order for it not to cast another spell.

Of course, if the kappa was ballsy enough to attempt another spell or even go for a full-on tackle against Lew, it would find its beaked face slashed to bits.

Raime's aim was trained at the kappa as it began to make hand gestures that confused him, though he was 100% sure that it spelled bad news to the party. Exhaling slowly, [Zoned In] activated once more as everything went in slow motion. The frothing bubble was just about to float out of the kappa's head as he let loose the bolt that swiftly lodged itself into the kappa's chest. Raime would have celebrated on hitting the creature but, despite hitting his mark, the kappa had already cast the spell. Raime winced as the ball of water majiks cast by the kappa smashed into Ames, Klien, and Mags with enough force to nearly knock them down. To make matters even worse, the spear weilding one capitalized in the majik attack. Ari tried her best to bodycheck the kappa but she was knocked back with a new shallow cut to her side. Raime was a second away from joining in the fray with the spear kappa when Lew glanced to him and nodded to convey that he ought to keep doing what he did to keep the other kappa from interfering further. Raime quickly gave a determined nod back to Lew and redoubled his efforts in keeping the other kappa busy.

"Use these to stab the bastards!" Raime yells to his party as he grabs a handful of basic bolts and tossed them to them. Bolts, bad improvised weapons as they may be, would likely deal more damage than just simply smacking the kappa with their fists. Afterward, Raime begins the tedious process of reloading his crossbow once again. Making sure to keep an eye out for any incoming attacks heading his way so that he could react appropriately and dodge.

If all things goes well enough, he would repeat the process of tracking the kappas movements and shoot when given an opportune moment.

"Oogh!" Perhaps that was a bad idea. Perhaps a better close ranged weapon would...

It clicked in her head almost immediately, as she was still flying away from the force of the body check. Hands extended, acting like a spring, her body flipping from the momentum onto her feet, conserving energy as she followed through with the force, bending her knees like a coiled spring as she fished out another rock from her pocket. With the final rebound into a side spin, she flung the rock not at where the kappa was, but where it will be, remembering a certain manga protagonist's lessons with the fish.

"Hey, Lew lend me y-" A crossbow bolt came flying into her waving hands. She looked incredulously at it for a moment. "No not this, lend me your short sword!"

It seemed like, suddenly, the whole team was on the defensive! What was up with that? Many of the party moved to the back line, while Ari moved up - using Ames as a boost. Is that what my role is? A pommel horse?! Am I just gonna get manhandled the whole time?!

"Hey if you just give me a heads up I'll throw you! I'm kind of like, an expert at throwing p—"

Splash. Cold, disgusting water rushed over Ames. She squeezed her eyes shut, sputtering and spitting and wiping at her face. "Oh my God! That's - ew! It stinks!" The warrior hardly even noticed her HP bar going down. Well, if one thing was clear it was that their group definitely didn't have a handle on these kappas. Once most of the excess water was cleaned from her face, Ames opened her eyes and was immediately met with danger. Not directed towards her, but to Amulak close by. It was time for the red haired warrior to jump into the fray.

Her hand shot out snatched the offending weapon's handle just behind the spear head. With a sharp twist of her wrist, the wood splintered and snapped. She pulled the shaft forward with a strong jerk, redirecting the creature's charge towards herself. While it's momentum carried it closer, Ames' other hand rose up high. The "stylish" setting was really working in her favor as she caught Raime's bolt and brought it down in one motion toward the ugly little river goblin's face.

Ames was stylish and Ames was fast, but as the wood splintered in his grasp, dealing 2 points of damage as splinters drove into his palm, the warrior realized that his opponent too was just as fast, just as strong as he was. Shorter than him, the kappa rolled out of the way of the bolt-stab, twisting his body away. Using his stronger grasp on his weapon, he spun the staff out of Ames's hand, before swinging it into the back of the red-headed warrior's knee, causing him to stumble as another 10 points of damage was taken in that flurry of movement. With a grunt, the kappa turned on his heel, dashing for Amulak again.

But Ames's interception had bought the mage time. Time enough to steady himself and cast his spells.

Gah, that hurt. Getting slammed with disgusting head water wasn't something Mags wanted to make a habit of. Her health was already drained from a mix of getting thrown across town and numerous collisions. She could survive another two hits like that, but it wouldn't be pretty. She still had her job to do. With rocks in her hand, she pitched them as hard as she could at the Kappa's dome in an attempt to slow him even more. Reminded her of playing catch with her dad, really. The man never knew how to chill. Complete type A personality, really.

Well, nostalgic memories didn't really matter right now. She was gaming. After pitching the rock as fast and hard as she could, she broke into a full sprint to intercept him again. She wasn't going to stop there, no. Ames managed to break the spear tip—what worried the unarmed and unarmoured Mags—off of the spear, leaving the kappa with a makeshift staff.

With one rock still in hand, she rose it and was about to attempt to beat the shit out of a Kappa with a rock. If she got hit with Amulak's next spell alongside the kappa, so be it. She'd try not to be physically between the mage and the turtle man.

Klein

"Holy shite," Klein exclaimed after noticing how hard the whatever spell hit him. Despite the spell was like a child pounding his chest, the fact that it dealt a quarter of his health is alarming. Even worse, he didn't do much damage, or any, in return. Perhaps he should just have become range, and just play his comfort role. Like a snake in the grass. Hide all game until the last round and popped up. But, it is too late now.

Giving a glance toward the kappa that was intercepted by Ames, Klein hopes that Amulak could kill it with his next spell. But, if he couldn't, his health bar should be thick enough to survive one hit from the monster. On the other hand, Klein picked a bolt from the ground, courtesy of boomer Raymond, and begin to charge at the spell-caster kappa. He saw Lewd and how the samurai had been holding that stance all this time, even when attempting to approach the spell caster kappa. And Klein's current objective is to give him that window of opportunity. So he charged forward before leaping into the air, both hands on the silver bolts. If he killed it, insane. If he didn't, his objective is complete.

Amulak al Acturus (Stanislaw)
HP:150/150 MP:178/200 SP: 50/50

Well, shit. The kappa was very much nearly on his ass now. It didn't help that he'd all but missed with his previous shot, only grazing the green fuck's side. Amulak was already winding up another Magic Bolt boosted by Mana Control, but judging by his previous two casts, there was no chance he'd be able to get it off before the kappa managed to tag him with a blow. Well, time to see what getting hit in this game felt like, he supposed.

And then providence shone in his party managing to distract the fucker long enough for him to finish his cast. Amulak grinned as he thrust his hand out, all but prepared to blow the kappa to pieces. And then providence reared its ugly bald head to abandon him just as quickly as it had arrived. For whatever godforsaken reason, Mags was still rushing the kappa from the flank. Judging by the crater his last Magic Bolt had made, another boosted one would probably catch her in the explosion as well. And her HP count wasn't exactly looking good.

...Ah, screw it. He still had good micro. No point in avoiding a hit himself if he potentially risked a party member going down from the backblast of his own spell. With a disappointed sigh, Amulak cancelled the Mana Control command on his cast, preparing to fire off a regular Magic Bolt at the charging kappa.

"Very sorry, Mags!" He bellowed in lieu of his usual incantation as he launched the bolt point-blank at the kappa, hoping Mags wouldn't be too badly hurt in the blast.

As Lugh approached the kappa menacingly, the turtle-manlet coiled his legs as well, beady eyes seeking an opening, a moment to counterstrike. So long as the warrior held his posture, the kappa couldn’t advance, but if the warrior missed his blow, the kappa could close in. Though both of them moved slowly, maintaining the distance between each other, it was certainly a samurai showdown.
Then Raime threw his bolts out in a loud and showy form of support for everyone else, and without the pressure of an archer keeping him in place, the kappa bolted as well, springy legs propelling it much farther than Lugh could travel. There was a fundamental difference in speed between the two, and while the ranger fumbled, trying to reload his crossbow, the kappa would break into the backline with his buddy, to wreak further havoc.

Or at least, that would have happened, if Klein hadn’t chestslammed the monster with his whole person. Taken by surprise, the kappa was knocked down alongside the beefcake, two more bolts rammed into his body. They rolled in the dirt for a couple of meters before the kappa shrieked in bestial rage. Webbed hands wrapping around Klein’s throat, the kappa’s beak-face opened up, revealing rows and rows of hooked teeth. If nothing was done immediately, Klein would literally have his face eaten by this monster.

But if Klein could get this monster into a favorable position, Lugh could finally utilize his Power Attack!

As the stick-wielding kappa broke free from Ames and rushed for Amulak, Ari’s well-placed, yet mistimed stone hurtled through the air, striking the kappa in the calf instead. He cursed her with a gurgling gasp, and before he could recover, another stone, this time from Magpie, bounced against his skull. The brawler girl bounced against his body as well, powering through the spear butt that was rammed into her gut as she pressed in further, past the 13 points of damage dealt. They were in close quarters now, and even though the kappa could clearly see magic wreath itself into Amulak’s palm, he couldn’t shake Magpie off in time.

Fine then! He was gonna fuck her up!

As the brawler battered him with her rock, the kappa twisted around as well, dropping his spear and wrapping one arm under hers, so that her rock slammed against his back, rather than against his neck or head. With the other, he slipped it below her groin, before hoisting her up!

“BRUGH BORUD LUPRIDEH! (FRONT FACELOCK SUPLEX!)”

Magpie found herself upside down all of a sudden, the green limbs of her foe bulging with brawn. Amulak’s magical blast caught the kappa before he could forcibly slam her down though, the concussive blast just enough to force the two of them apart. The kappa was blasted back towards Ames, while Magpie, spared from the fate of having her back slammed into the hard dirt, fell face-first instead, her nose squashed into the ground and her health suffering yet another 9 damage.

These stupid things are so slippery! Ames grumbled to herself and rubbed at her knee. Not only were they slippery, but they were crafty too. Why couldn't they just find some frog people? As many complaints as the red haired warrior had, it was a bit late for them. The battle descended into an even more chaotic fray than it already was. Human and yōkai bodies were crashing against one another in ways that sounded downright painful. Ames recovered quickly from the hit to the back of her leg and went to move up when one of the creatures came flying towards her.

Ames braced herself, intending on catching the thing and holding it down while the others beat on it - but the impressive grappling display it just put on meant that was probably not the best idea. Even with both of the stat boosting talismans equipped the little buggers were giving her a run for her money. She was deciding just what her next action would be when, like a revelation, Lugh's words from earlier came back to her.

"Hiyaaaaah!!" she flung herself towards the kappa with her arms outstretched, reaching for the dish on it's head. Were this real life the warrior's improvised move would have been an awkward flailing of her body, but it wasn't - and the game settings corrected her form to make the attempt to overturn the dish on the kappa's head into a precise-looking strike.

Klein

And when the kappa opened its maw, revealing its sharp teeth littering inside its beak, everything freeze.

Without much saying, as if he was waiting for this moment, Klein shoved his whole right arm into the kappa's mouth, an opening that he believed to be the kappa's doom. A thousand red lines glaze across his skin. And instantly after that, the thick scarlet liquid begins to ooze from the opening, filling the kappa what it sought after. But Klein doesn't stop there.

He doesn't attempt to break free from its grip.

He embraces it.

So he goes deeper, to no man's land. His hand goes through the tongue, letting it wraps against the Chuck Norris' muscles. And it was barely a fraction of a second before the hand made a breakthrough the kappa's pharynx and enter its esophagus. And then, he starts wreaking havoc.

Now, I would like for you to imagine. Imagine a man who could extend his jaw so large that he is able to eat another grown man's fist. And then, he is just choking on this person's fist as this stranger keeps ramming his fist toward his esophagus. Like he is in pain for having his organ being damage, his pharynx trying its best to regurgitate this massively large unidentified object from the digestive tract, and his jaws trying to close itself so he could somehow swallow it. But this stranger keeps beating him down and the pharynx is the pathway needed for both breathing and swallowing. So here we are, witnessing a dude choking on another dude's arm.

And this is what Klein's doing to the kappa, inserting more and more of his arm's length inside the kappa. Pounding it more and more from the inside. The link that forms between them, the kappa's hands gripped against Klein's throat grew stronger and stronger as well.

It is the only thing that stopped Klein's from inserting his whole arm in one go. It is the only tool available for the Kappa to kill Klein.

So, enemies to the death lock their eyes onto each other. A 2.2 meters tall giant atop of a humanoid with turtle-back. The wind breeze blow between them, carrying the dandelions to somewhere far. The grass, soft and a little bit messy from the fight. Cattails moves and frogs ribbits. And the river flows to somewhere. But the pounding never stops, and so does the force being applied on one's throat.

In some morbid sense, it is "Till death do us part."

Seeing as there was no more weapons being thrown at her, Ari bounded over to the fallen spear on the ground. At least, this way she had something to actually stick into the enemy with. Tumbling over the spear, she rolled onto a starting sprinting position before running full speed at the kappa near Ames, trying to impale it on the spear point.

The crossbow-wielding man froze as the kappas finally broke through the party's defensive line. Even with the slowed perception of time with [Zoned In], he was unsure if he can avoid the kappa's attack. So Raime made the most of the bad situation and took the shot nonetheless, a bolt lodged itself into the kappa...just as the 2.2-meter tall slab of meat tackled the kappa, all the while jamming another bolt into its side. But the kappa lunged to Klein, trying to get a beakful of his face. Raime made a split-second decision to jump to the aid of the massive man...just as Klein shoved his entire arm down the kappa's throat! The crossbow user visibly recoiled as he witnessed everything in graphic ultra-realistic high definition detail. "Jesus fucking Christ!" Jesus fucking Christ indeed. It was a miracle that Raime didn't empty his virtual guts at the sight, but all bravado he mustered in a split second to help Klein vanished just as quickly as it manifested.

Despite his horror, he still wished to provide assistance to the giant.

Diving back into the fray, Raime uses his slowed perception of time to help him close the distance and get into position with minimal risk. He then raises his crossbow over his head and takes aim at the kappa's ribs; intending to strike at full force with the butt of his crossbow.

Seeing Klein leap into the fray took Lew by surprised. He assumed that most of his allies were busy dealing with the other kappa, and that he was prepared to face off with this one... Not that Lew was complaining about the help, anyway. It seemed as if it weren't for Klein doing what he did, Lew would have lost his opportunity, somehow. Still, things looked ugly for his larger ally, making it obvious to Lew that now is a perfect time to release his Power Attack! Before he could move in to do it however, Klein's unorthodox method of stopping the kappa from biting into his face caught Lew just a bit off-guard. Kappa fisting was one thing he was too familiar with, but he wasn't expecting it to go both ways!

Still, Klein seemed hellbent on sacrificing his arm in order to ensure the kappa's demise, and between that as well as Raymond charging in, Lew knew that if he didn't act now, he would only be dishonoring his friends.

Lew charged forward, holding his wakizashi close to his waist before leaping upward. As he made his descent, his eyes met Klein's for but a brief moment, conveying the emotion that he accepted his companion's sacrifice. Raising his blade in the air as he neared the kappa, Lew finally released the deep breath he was holding in for all this time for the most cool weeaboo fightan sword technique line he could think of at the moment.

"Water Skipping Stone: Two-Strokes!"

And so, Lew's blade sliced into the kappa's neck with his charged Power Attack, striking in the direction opposite of where Raymond was striking it towards so that their momentum would add on together. Rather than completing his slash with one attack, Lew twisted his body as he raised his blade once more, striking the same exact place his blade had sunk into before with a second Power Attack, adding onto the devastation from his first strike. He tried his best to make the movements flow like water, but without any actual experience with swords or the aid of any automatic combat functions, Lew's actions seemed overly dramatic and a bit sloppy...

Oh well. Style points mean nothing if there are no true beauties to impress.

Amulak al Acturus (Stanislaw)
HP:150/150 MP:168/200 SP: 50/50

On the bright side, Amulak hadn't killed Mags. Unfortunately, it seemed she'd still taken scratch damaged from a failed suplex that he'd barely managed to blast the kappa out of. Well, silver linings and all that.

And then something fucking amazing happened. Whoever Klein was managed to somehow shove his entire arm through the kappa's mouth and down into its organs. Even as he absentmindedly hurled another Magic Bolt at the kappa not being utterly fucking destroyed by Klein, only barely taking note of Lew and Raymond teaming up on the same one, Amulak kept staring at the juxtaposition of kappa and gigachad.

"...This game? I think I love it." He murmured under his breath for a moment in wonder before collecting his wits and calling out to Klein.

"Big man? I think process of fisting starts from other hole! Opposite end of body from mouth!"

It was a two-man orgy of violence and hatred.

Pinpricks of pain shredded into Klein’s arm as he pushed deeper in, his flesh feeling an unpleasant numbness followed by a moist warmth that caused his stomach to roil. The kappa too was squirming, eyes widening at the realization that he was honestly going to die! But if he would, he wouldn’t die in terror, but in rage. Veins bulged out from slippery, green skin as he increased his own grip on the massive man’s throat. No longer choking, but digging, piercing, black fingernails gouging into human flesh even as the kappa’s eyes teared, face turning all sorts of colors.

Blood began to soak the front of Klein’s shirt. Sticky warmth coated his fingers.

He lost 7 HP, claws sinking into his throat. 48 HP remained.

He lost 13 HP, hundreds of hook-like teeth ripping his arm to shreds. 35 HP remained.

He lost 26 HP, a major artery rupturing, his vocal cords gone and with it the scream he didn’t know he was screaming. 9 HP remained.

Raime’s crossbow slammed into the kappa’s body, an impact that was transferred into Klein’s arm as well. He lost 2 HP. 7 HP remained.

Lugh moved in, a shadow wielding a blade that glistened in the daylight. They understood. The price of victory. The price of the outplay. His blade bit deep into the kappa’s throat, cracking against the spine with such force that a shockwave burst out on the other side, cause the cattails to bristle in counteracting winds. He lost 4 HP, his own flesh nicked by his companion’s blade. 3 HP remained.

The monster couldn’t croak. Couldn’t scream. Could only commit.

The man who would one day be a samurai drew his wakizashi back and swung again.

The monster who would never become anything more squeezed.

Klein received 11 points of damage.

The kappa’s remained affixed, even as the body collapsed back onto the ground, held in place by the arm jammed down into it.

And yet, Klein did not die.

Flames, golden and bright, surged out from his body, encasing him completely. In the brilliance of the combustion, Lugh and Raime could only barely make out the figure of an ashen demon crafted of flame overlaid upon their party member’s form, before just as swiftly, those flames retracted. The tendrils seeped into Klein’s body, the gold gradating into charcoal black, until all that remained where flame-like tattoos branding his two arms.

All injuries he had sustained were gone, his bloody attire the only indication of the wounds once suffered. And with that, a window unseen to all but Klein emerged before the adventurer’s eyes.

The remaining kappa, struck by Ames and then stabbed from the side by Ari, moved to run, but it was too late by then. Amulak’s Magic Bolt stunned him with its concussive blast, and immediately afterwards, it became a seven on one curbstomp, from which an unarmed monster had no chance of surviving. Only a messy pulp remained once the party was finished with their gruesome task.

They had won the battle, and as the encounter ended, the party would watch as all the possessions left by the creatures, their weapons mainly, pixelated into tiny orbs that swirled in the air, before converging over the bodies. The fused spheres transformed into a different shape, and once the light faded, the new objects tumbled onto the ground.

A dirt-stained loincloth and eight bronze coins.

A high pitched scream reverberated across the area, coming from no more than the overexcited catgirl as she just about did a little victory jig.

"EEEE! We did it! That was so cool I'm about to explode!" Her face scrunched up immediately upon seeing their loot however. She... didn't want to touch even the coins. "I.. suppose someone should hold on to those?"

Shoving the piece of fabric back into her pockets quickly before anyone takes a longer look at it, she started on her grass rope again, while looking for a nice round hefty stone. "Ah, Lew, can you lend me one of your weapons for a moment? I'm going to try something, see if it works."

She lived. She couldn't tell if it was good luck or bad luck that pretty much every instance of damage she took another 22 points of damage like that. Being ragdolled by an oversized toad wasn't a fun time. Thankfully, the time she bought was worth it. Rather than taking a spine-buster and crumbling into dust, Mags was thrown onto the ground in a familiar pose.

By the time Mags managed to rise up, the bulk of the combat had finally ended. Klein became radiant, making Mags somewhat jealous of those sick arm tats. Those absolutely screamed brawler tough guy. Shame that he got them, really. Well, not really a shame since when the radiant light vanished, Klein looked considerably less eviscerated. Mags was there, battered and bruised, and that man just managed to heal himself.

Well, that just meant Mags was the one who lost the most out of all of them. She had the highest health pool out of the entire group, yet somehow she was the least healthy. Such was the life of a brawler, especially when they didn't have any sort of healer. Maybe she'd spec into some form of healing. Some kind of monk type, inner ki technique shit. A slam slim Kharazim, if one would. When she capped out brawler, though. She wasn't about to lose her levels just so she could fill in a role this early.

Luckily, those levels came with something important: being refreshed. Her resources were refreshed quickly, so the game's mechanics rescued her from death's door. Important to know, really. She allocated her points in an appropriate manner for a brawler. HP, STR, and some more AGI. Endurance was a good stat, but only if she was getting hit. Which she was. A lot. But she also wanted to punch a kappa's head straight off.

The corpse of a brawler slid towards the loot like a gremlin.

"Mmmmmmind if I roll... NEED?"

By the time she slithered on over, she was already trying to stuff the loot into her bag. She'd make the choice of putting on the loincloth at a later date. It was +5 extra strength or so, after all.

"Holy shit, Klein. Nice tattoos." Raime says with a light chuckle as a system notification pop out congratulating them for jumping 3 levels. Raime let out a tired but triumphant cheer as he sat down onto the grass. Ari celebrated their first-ever successful combat in CaCo. It was around this moment that Mags slithered along the ground to 'appropriate' the loot for herself. Raime couldn't care less, he was just glad that everyone managed to survive this encounter. "I'll go allocate my AP points then go check out the herbs over there for curative herbs. I'm not sure about you guys but I want to have some healing items on hand before we start grinding for cash."

Raime would then open his character menu and begin allocating his Attribute Points. He would then allocate one point each to his HP, MP, and SP. He split the remaining points to his Agi and Dex, leaving a single point up for End. Once he confirmed his choices he then would set off to the herbs. "Well...nothing ventured nothing gained." Raime then grabs a variety of herbs and begins the edibility test. First rubbing it on his skin to see if it would cause any adverse effects, then to his lips, chewing it and keeping it in his mouth, then finally swallowing it. Raime would repeat the process for every herb he finds and, upon discovering useful ones, he'd harvest as much as he can.
