Yes "that" is what we were waiting for, despite my asking for it several times.

... Sooo... if that's all we were waiting for... and what you wanted.... why didn't you do as opposed to dragging your simulator-thingy out? Unless it WAS plot-relevant. Then I understand.

Just sayin'. I mean, I was waiting for you two to finish. In fact the only reason I had Aya wake up was because this no longer felt like an X-men RP and felt like a 1x1 Assassin's Creed RP between you and Solemn. Which I was fine with because for a bit there it felt important.... then it kinda felt sluggish. Whatever, my point is just that if you felt the strongest about just jumping forward to the next day, why didn't you?

Simply because storylines are not beholden to linearity and, therefore, not all scenes in a story must follow the same timeframe.

The question still stands.

Why didn't you move on if you wanted to move on? Seriously. (Also kinda helps avoid confusion if everyone's on the same timeframe).

The question was answered. There is purpose, though not yet revealed. Besides it was enjoyable for the participants and as you have decried recently, is it not the "fun" that is most important?

AHA!! So it was plot-relevant. Seriously, that's all you had to say.

"It was relevant to the plot"

Don't make things so complicated. I'm just a stupid guy with no redeeming qualities. Speak simple sentences for a simple brain. Straight to the point is best. n_n

Anyways, whatever, here's Steve.

-Name: Shuya "Steve" Habasaki
-Code Name: Bloodbath/Mr. Vein
-Age: 22 (biologically), 18 (mentally)
-Gender: Male
-Appearance:
-Powers: Hemokinesis, or the ability to manipulate his own blood. Steve can cause his blood to come out of his body and form weapons (like knives, swords, clubs, maces, staffs, spikes, spears, tentacles, etc.) or solid masses (he can change it's density to like, hard as a rock and use it as a platform, or elevator, or hand). Any blood that leaves his body is instantly replaced, making it impossible for him to die of blood loss. But his blood has to tear through his skin to come out, and he only has a minor healing factor. It takes like five minutes for a wound to heal, and he'd be bleeding the whole time. Seriously, it wouldn't take long to get a Carrie look going on, although he can keep the blood in his body, but it splits his concentration. Since his blood opens wounds in his skin, he doesn't feel pain in the same way we do. Rather than pain, his mind just kinda goes "Oh, there's a wound there, be careful" as opposed to "FUCK, IT HURTS!!!". Also he has Organic Pigment Augmentation, meaning he can change the color of his body on a cellular level, thus allowing him to blend into his surroundings better.
-Skills: Steve doesn't really have anything one could consider skills. Sure, he's creative but he doesn't see as special. It's just necessary to use his powers.
-Personality: Normally Steve's very shy, kind, and timid in an adorable fashion, but he has a mask that when he puts it on, allows him to unleash his more aggressive nature. It's like how telling a child sunglasses make them invisible or that a Spider-Man mask will make them strong. He personifies his aggression into the mask, and by wearing it, "becomes the mask". In order to distance himself from this bloodthirsty asshole, he calls him Mr. Vein, so that he doesn't have to face the fact that it's actually Steve himself that wants to do these things. But both sides refuse to kill unless it to protect those Steve cares about. Steve's too kind and that carries over, even if Vein loves bloodshed.
-History: There's not much to say. Steve had a normal childhood, up until he accidentally impaled a school bully's shoulder. His parents pulled him out of public school and home-schooled him, but he became very withdrawn. One day while walking to the store with his mom, they were attacked. In his panic, a rage blossomed inside, and in this rage he viciously fought off the the muggers. But this new side of himself, scared Steve, so he pushed those feelings down, and refused to acknowledge them. But they had to come out eventually. So, whenever something happened and he felt that aggression bubbling to the surface, he would form a faceplate of blood, and act under the name Mr. Vein. Eventually, this alter ego became the embodiment of his aggression, and got Steve into more than a little trouble. Fearing for their son, Steve's parents contacted the Xavier School, and asked for help. Soon enough Steve was staring down the door of the mansion. And in his two years here, almost nothing has changed, except for Mr. Vein and Steve being even more separate than ever. Being so damn shy, almost no one except for the teachers and maybe one or two students, even seem to acknowledge his existence. Not for lack of trying, mind.

Why am I suddenly frightened?

Oh! And I just realized. Steve is stealthy. Because nobody ever pays attention to him, he always goes unnoticed. That's a skill... right?

Do any of you like Borderlands, I know this is a shameless promotion thing but I am starting one up for those who like it? I have not put the idea up yet but I wanted to see if any of you wanted in.

I could do something like that. I'm curious as to the story since both Borderlands games I've played mostly involved running around and randomly shooting things while upon quests. I mean, the first one, the ending was just so... whoah... bad. The second one, the battle against Handsome Jack was more important and interesting than the actual vault was.

As it is, I'm starting to think the Vaults aren't vaults at all.

My idea is kind of crap and it happens as BL2 is happening. Also the way I presented it makes it sound totally stupid. But to what you said I feel the vaults aren't what they are. Hopefully number 3 explains more about it. I could send you what I wrote in an attempt to attract people.

Sure. We can spin it. Spinning always works better with more people. (Well, to an extent... too many and it gets ridiculous with the shouting.)

I have that saved on YouTube lol

EDIT: I shall be responding to Asha falling over/stumbling as I plan to bring Sarina in for breakfast :) And spoke to LovelyAnastasia about the idea as I didn't want to control her character :)
