So... shall we all gather and weep for the franchise that is Transformers? Behold, the worst movie series of all time. How it succeeds is beyond human ken.

It was made for 5-13 year olds in the 80's, thirty years later the 35-43 year olds can afford it all now.

Well, I'm not sure who the last movie was made for. It certainly wasn't the crafted for the adults who watched the original series. It's a horrible, horrible, piece of fiction with an interesting premise that proves to be only a veneer. The entire movie just makes no sense. Optimus knows who the bad guy is... but doesn't know who he works for and doesn't know why he's wanted for betraying them. It's quite embarrassing.

When Wahlberg is the best part of the movie about giant transforming robots then you know something is very, very wrong.

I am this close to just bailing on this entire site... *grrrrrrr*

Addendum: I should point out that the complaint wasn't specific or directed at anyone here. At least this one has a post every once in a while for me to read :) The others are all just stopped or refuse to start.

So you haven't seen Epic Movie, then? I, for one, very much enjoyed the film, but I have a VERY high tolerance for film. I enjoyed Super Mario Bros., and can call Dragonball Evolution a decent movie (horrible DB movie, sure, but it wasn't a bad movie). So, Meh. Can't wait for the 5th. Should be interesting ;)

On a side note, 1000th post, holy shit! Didn't I get the 500th as well?
