Being a Pokémon trainer was a lot like camping.
You’re out there, in the wilderness, with nothing but yourself and nature. It’s part of the appeal. Most trainers don’t think about how scary the concept is. You were barely a teenager when you decided that the life of a Pokémon trainer was what you wanted to do. A few camping supplies, a Pokémon partner and off into the tall grass you went.
It’s been a few months since, and you thought your journey throughout Kanto would’ve been a lot more prosperous but that’s not exactly the case. You might’ve gotten stuck in the Viridian Forest trying to find a specific Pokémon, been stuck in Pokémon festivals for what seems like an eternity, or maybe you’ve just been really good at getting lost. Really good. Maybe you’re the master of bad luck. In fact, you exactly feel like that’s the case considering the fact you’re trapped inside Mt. Moon. Gosh, maybe you should’ve gotten a rock type when you were stuck in Pewter City. It’s cold and you’ve got a fire going, but there’s not much for tinder in a cave. A few other trainers and scavengers are stuck with you, as luck would have it around the same age, but you’re determined not to freeze or starve to death in this mountain. There has to be another way out.
You're determined to find it. When you do, at least you've made some friends along the way, right?
This isn't the end of your story. It's only the beginning.

This RP is:
- An invite-only experience.
- A small group RP based on a re-imagining of the Pokémon Universe.
- A serialized format with loosely-woven arcs that are mostly character-driven rather than plot-driven.
- NOT an edgy dark edgelord version of Pokémon. This balances a grounded "realistic" tone with the light-hearted elements of the series so we can focus on story-telling.
Divergent Lore:
- To become an accredited Pokemon Trainer you must be sixteen years old rather than the canon age of ten.
