Name: Hou Yi, Slayer of the Nine Suns, Bowman of the Heavens
Class: Archer
Appearance: "Mine are the arrows that shall fell the sun!"Personality: Easygoing and straightforward. Charming and honest. His greatest assets are his confidence in his own decisions and his courage in the face of adversity. A serene appearance that betrays a heart bursting with feelings. Archer goes about his life with a boyish heart, a taste for dramatic flair, and an unshakeable hope for meeting again a certain person…
He is easily impressed and just as easily amused. He is also a natural airhead, incapable of understanding subtleties when communicating with someone else, mostly taking things at face value. (He broke many hearts by just being himself, but obliviously kept going.) He admires heroes of justice and people who stood against the world for their ideals, broken as they were; for him, these are the bravest souls. The owner of a deep spiritual core, he offers respect and prays to all the departed souls, no matter their side in a War. All lives deserve the cycle of birth and rebirth, and all lives deserve to be mourned.
――He is also the one person always urging his Master to get a parasol, for the UV-rays in this time of the year are just brutal on your skin.
Stats:Strength: D
Endurance: C
Agility: A
Mana: C
Luck: B
Noble Phantasm: A+
Class Skills:
Independent Action - B
As a Servant, he can stay in the world for two days without the support of a Master. However, this is the ideal value achieved by conserving mana and avoiding battle.
It looks like his original parameter was supposed to be C, but thanks to his personal Skill Affection of the Moon, he somehow got a rank up. One explanation can be that, by being the owner of an unshakeable faith that he is favored by the moon, he can actually survive quite longer when it is dark in a sort of Placebo-effect phenomenon.
Magic Resistance - C+
Cancel spells with a chant below two verses. Cannot defend against magecraft on the level of High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals. He has a remarkable resistance to Chinese-related Witchcraft.
Personal Skills:Affections of the Moon - A
Hou Yi is blessed by the light of the Moon, the only connection he has to his beloved Chang'e. Once per night, if Archer were to take a lethal or even fatal blow, Chang'e shall bless her husband with her divine fortune. Upon this activation, Archer must make a "luck check"; if it succeeds, the attack will fail regardless of circumstances or properties of the attack. Not only this, but events will change in such a way that it will allow Archer to make a single action before his opponent can retaliate, essentially giving him a "free action".
The chance of success is heavily dependent on the eight phases of the moon; upon the New Moon, the chance is extremely low. During each successive phase, the chance of the Skill activating grows more and more until the Full Moon, where activation is guaranteed. However, each successive phase after the Full Moon causes the chance to rapidly fall until the New Moon, where it resets entirely.
Divinity - D-
Due to his original status as a god, Hou Yi has access to natural Divinity. However, due to his banishment at the hands of the Jade Emperor, the Parameters for this Skill have dramatically decreased.
Clairvoyance - B+
Hou Yi had honed his senses to a tremendous degree, as shown by his feats against the many demons he does throughout his travels as well as his feats as a god. Archer has the capacity to see through illusions as well as in areas without light. Just as the gods see the world from their perch on the Heavens, Archer is also able to see from a bird's eye view above the battlefield, giving him nigh-unparalleled spotting ability.
Noble Phantasm(s):Name: Gifted Gale: Pouch of Travelling Winds
Rank: B
Type: Anti-Unit (Self), Anti-Unit
Effects: Gifted Gale is the power Hou Yi once demonstrated while still mortal. Due to his victory against the Count of the Winds, he was given a bag of winds that is worn on his waist. In life it allowed the warrior to travel across the land in search of the fearsome demons to vanquish. When activated, Hou Yi opens the bag, allowing a massive gale wind to fire out. Once the winds have calmed after a moment, Archer gains control over the air in the surrounding environment, allowing him to control it to an extreme degree. He can use this to soar about in the air freely and extremely quickly, allowing him to rarely touch the earth if need be. His usage extends over multiple forms of flight from levitating to utterly defying gravity and using the wind as a physical structure to grasp. He can also utilize the wind in combat, sending out gale winds and cyclones to strike Masters and strike at Servants, manipulating air currents to redirect ranged attacks or simply as a way to move himself and his Master if they need to preposition or even retreat.
Name: Jinwu - Punishment of Nine Fallen Suns
Rank: A+
Type: Anti-Army
Effects: The crystallization of You Yi's greatest achievement, Jinwu is Archer's most powerful technique. Upon activation, Archer fires an arrow into the sky, targeting a point in the heavens above the battlefield. Upon the point, the act of felling a sun is re-created; the death wails of a sun-bird act as the warning cry as one of nine suns falls from the Heavens and onto the earth, engulfing the battlefield in a surge of incinerating sun-fire.
Just as the act of felling the suns was that of punishment for defying the will of the Jade Emperor, the arrows themselves as well as the flames created by the sun's fall carry the property of [Divine Punishment]; those who have committed an act of defiance or rebellion against the gods shall find themselves swiftly slain by both the arrows and the flames, their bodies pierced or burnt to ash.
Despite its power, there is one caveat to this ability; as there were only nine suns that were slain in his legend, Archer can only cause nine suns to fall onto the earth. Due to this, Archer can only use this Noble Phantasm nine times in total.
