Appearance:

• Out of Costume: Atticus has white blond hair and ice blue eyes in sharp contrast to what his abilities are capable of. His features are well defined and fairly attractive. He usually dresses in light and comfortable clothing that allows him a lot of movement, he almost always wears sunglasses.
• In Costume: His costume is made up of flexible aramid fiber panels that overlap across vulnerable areas, while leaving joints free to move without too much restriction. Looks wise, it is designed almost like armor out of a fantasy video game with a small shoulder cape and hood. He wears a breathable mesh that covers his lower face as well as a pair of high tech goggles to hide his eyes and allow him to see his enemies when he shrouds a room in shadow and to protect his eyes from light.

Powers:

• Umbrakinesis(Shadow Manipulation)-his abilities are limited to utilizing shadows that are already present, and they only last for a certain amount of time.
  
  • Shadow Constructs-Can solidify shadow into chains to bind, various weapons, extra armor, tendrils that can attack, etc.
  • Create Darkness/Cloaking-Can cause shadow to completely fill a room or block out like allowing him to move freely while his enemies can no longer see. Can also do it on a smaller scale and just cloak himself
  • Darkness Adaptation-Has enhanced senses and stealth capabilities while in the dark, but makes him much more sensitive to light
  • Teleportation-can teleport through shadows, but it is incredibly dangerous as one false move could cause loss of limb or even death
  • Sunlight Sensitivity-the sun is not his friend and generally he keeps himself well covered and wears protective shades when out and about
• Mixed martial arts-specifically Krav Maga which his brother taught him, though he does occasionally add in moves from other disciplines
• Special Operations-Highly trained in infiltration, weapons, and hand to hand
• Tech-carries several different self-made tech devices or weapons that may aid in his fights in the event he exhausts his abilities or encounters someone who can nullify powers.

Personality:

• Character: Overall, Atticus is a fairly amiable guy. He has a good sense of humor, enjoys spending time with his friends, and generally has a zest for life. He can be serious when needed; he has a sharp wit and intelligence that he'll use to his advantage both in and out of costume. He is confident in who he is as a person, but he can be a bit reckless and impulsive sometimes to the point of unintentionally putting himself or others in more danger. He is charismatic near to the point of being manipulative, but overall he means well. He spends most of his days working with his brother, Marcus, teaching martial arts to all ages in less affluent neighborhoods as a way to help kids get off the streets and learn valuable skill and discipline. He genuinely loves his job and the people he works with, which is why he works so hard to keep his identity a secret.
• Hero: As a hero he is much the same way, but a bit more over the top. He greatly enjoys being in the spotlight when it comes to ending a fight, but he isn't above working with other heroes if need be. He can sometimes come off as a bit annoying, but it is clear that he does care for the people he fights for and with. He chooses to gain loyalty through affection and camaraderie rather than punishment or fear. His time working in so many different jobs before he finally settled and opened his own martial arts studio gives him a wide breadth of knowledge about all different kinds of people that allows him to connect with other heroes, civilians, and potentially even villains. His powers and background make him appear more villainous, which he will use to his advantage if necessary.

Status: Identity is secret, he doesn't want to put his brother or business in danger, but while in costume he is more than willing to stand in the spotlight and talk to all manner of people.
Background: Atticus was born with his abilities as was his brother, but that didn't stop his family from being trapped in a less affluent neighborhood overrun by gang activity. His parents constantly fought about anything and everything, so he spent most of his time away from home, mainly at the library or outside with his brother practicing with their abilities or whatever caught their fancy. As he got older he finally concluded that people who play by the rules get screwed and the only way to succeed is to break them. After his brother left to join the military he lost the one person who kept him out of trouble he ended up dragged into one of the gangs; hiding behind a mask of sarcasm and apathy because it was easier than dealing with his problems. Eventually his parents got fed up with him and sent him off to join his brother in the military where he shaped up and lost a lot of the bitterness of home; especially the value of inspiring loyalty and working with a team. He got much of his training in weaponry and martial arts in the time he spent with the military, as well as finally getting the chance to go to school and earn a degree, in engineering specifically. Eventually he joined up with the Spec. Ops where his degree and powers came in handy for the covert missions they did. Thankfully, due to the classification of all of his missions, his identity is still a secret from the public as only his unit and CO's know what he is capable of. After many years both he and his brother left the service and went back to their home town, setting up a martial arts studio for the less affluent neighborhoods so people had a better chance than they did.

An ability that gives the user the capabilities to influence situations and events that occur around him within a 30 ft radius. It may seem like it gives good luck but it simply causes an effect on actions that are done through ill will or bad intention towards causing a good result in the end. As Evan can not control it nor able to turn it off causing accidents or actions of evil intent done by him or those within his radius to end in a positive result against his or others intention. As it is always active, simply passing through can turn what might of been a serious incident into something that ultimately helps the people around whether he wants it to happen or not.

There are limits to what it can alter or influence as larger or widespread incidents it will have a much harder time affecting the result though does act in a way to increase survival. If there is a possibility or plausible way, his power will make it happen and because it mainly targets and effects evil or accidental that it proves little help with actions of good will. And cause of this he tends to offer little support to other heroes as his power has only a minor effect on their attacks or skills with slightly increasing their chance of hitting or doing tad more damage and such.

Because it is a power that is outward and does not give luck that favors the person, thus bad things can still happen to him though only if he is directly involved. While external attacks or accidents that try to harm him will cause his power to indirectly protect him making harming him with evil or ill intent or accidental extremely difficult. Attacks that he does not see coming or those too fast to follow can bypass some of his power's protection making it possible to injure though unlikely to be a dangerous or fatal wound, long as there is a feasible way for his influence to take effect.

Personality

Evan-
Boredom, the one word Evan will say best fits him. Often seeming to have little interest in most things and coming off as a plain individual with a body that has little to him that stands out. He tries enough and gets tasks and jobs done while not really into it majority of the times and doing it just to get them done and out of the way. He does enjoy comics; mostly going for those where villains or the more brutal heroes are featured. Seeing bad things happen or occur excite him and has a bit of a dark humor as he seeks anything or anyway to get him a thrill while hating to be praised and receiving great appreciation for the things he does when its nothing special or tends to not be what he intended. Due to his power unwanted constant influence he is often left bored and unable to find fun in activities when nothing interesting ever happens thanks to.

Because of years of living and fending alone and the effects of his powers that he has major trust issues, doubting everyone he talks to and thinking they always have some ulterior motive or would only be friends with him to use his abilities making getting close to others difficult.

Altar Ego-
When donning his costume and going out as The Ill Begotten Fate, he becomes much more crass and cocky. Becoming very vocal on what he thinks about all the goody two shoes heroes and naive, blind sheeple who think they are all good and perfect. He does not hesitate to try and screw others over or make attempts on evil deeds even when knowing his ability will interfere as he aims to cause a situation that it can't act. With the mask on, his true personality comes out, being harsh, blunt and direct speaking his mind while also easy to anger when constantly having his deeds praised and awarded. Thanks to his power, he has become mistaken to be a hero; an image he wishes to ruin any way he can and actively acts like a dick. Yet, his talks of being evil and warnings are always brushed off as him joking or being humble or modest and is unsure if its his powers influence or people find him to be simply embarrassed about his so called acts of heroism.

Status

Currently leads a double life with his identity unknown as he tries to separate his normal life from his Alter Ego's attempt at villainy so as to avoid that image of being this upstanding hero constantly giving him undeserving credit and praise. Wanting the things he earns to actually be earned through proper effort and not given to him.

Backstory

Backstory

Born into the Cazillian family, a once small nobody family with little money to its name. Yet this soon changed after his parents came to learn about his abilities and through their selfish greed found ways to use his powers to gain attention, money and connections. The Cazillian name soon grew into that of a small conglomerate; allowing Evan to live an easy and spoiled life for the first several years of his life.

But as he grew older and started noticing the way his parents looked at and treated him weren't that of loving parents but how one gazes at a prized treasure. He began realizing that he was simply an object being used for their selfish wants and desires, eventually understanding they didn't actually love him nor even saw him as a person and at the age of twelve ran away to escape being their money bank and tool while knowing that his family would not simply let their *lucky charm* go and had no choice but to alter his identity in any way he could, cutting and dying his hair and letting it grow out along with getting rid of the fancy rich clothes in exchange for the cheapest and dirtiest he could find. Leaving him to make for less than savory neighborhood locations and keeping his activity small to hide out until he was able to change his features more and enough time passed that those his parents likely hired to seek him out gave up.

Promising to himself to one day return and take away everything they gained through him and then on. Even without his powers helping, they had already expanded and more than enough money to keep the Cavillian family as a staple within the the rich community along with certain underground dealings and control to cover for his disappearance. Despising the family and refusing to allow them to keep such a growing empire but lacking the connections and influence himself along with his power itself likely to get in the way and forced to wait until he found a way to control it or remove it, only then can he act on his main goal to destroy the Cazillian family name and reputation.

Thus, he was left living on the cold hard streets and living in these run down neighborhood in his dirty and pitiful new identity. That Evan saw the cruelty and nastiness of people. People that weren't evil but simply didn't care nor bothered; ignoring and refusing to offer him aid as his powers did nothing to help him. Only tending to help others being attacked or harmed, leaving him to scrounge and do what he could to survive. Still, he preferred this over living with his parents and came to learn that the only person he could depend on was himself as even the so called great and perfect heroes never answered his call for help having him fend for himself. Losing respect and faith in heroes and the humanity of people, bringing him decide to instead go down the path of villainy yet his attempts always wound up turning into acts of good and heroism leading the public view into that of a hero against his wishes. A villain foiled not by a hero or a villain who's ideology clashed with him, but by his own power.

This power, however, he found could also be used for his own gain and through manipulating his ability has helped him gain plenty of money to gain him entrance into a private school eventually to a prestigious boarding school. Refusing to rely on his Cazillian family name and wealth and opted to abandoned it. Taking on his new identity which he forged the name Tezun, not wanting the things he earn and such to be through what he came from and coasting off the ill earned money gained through him.

Now he lives at a prestigious boarding school, one of the top within Metropolis trying to live and make a name with actual effort and not those gained through his hated power which he is unsure is a mutant power or magic but either way see's it as a curse. A curse he intends to break or find a way to control it in order to finally bring down the Cazillian family and tear down the veil blinding the people; preventing them from seeing the truth about the so called heroes they worship and praise. Yet, a child alone who needed them most never gave him the help and a kind offering hand simply cause he had little choice but to live in an areas they don't seem to bother nor care about.

Heroes are not the good samaritan they always preach and show themselves to be. As his powers have ousted several corrupt heroes who used their powers for their own personal gain or choosing only to help those that will earn them fame and money through their ill begotten recognition. While he does understand that not all heroes are like this, but his jaded views and frustrations at himself and those around him make it difficult for him to understand or care and by this point it no longer mattered. And thus had given rise to the mistaken hero, The Ill Begotten Fate.

Dynamo

Appearance: Many people find Cameron adorable. When you see him, you would never believe he's a grown adult. He has fair skin, and big blue eyes that reflect his child like enthusiasm. He has a round babyface that makes him seem younger than he is, along with a button nose, and a mouth that is often in a smile. He is short in stature, standing at exactly five feet tall. He is not embarrassed by his small size in the least, saying it adds to his appeal. He has a slim build, but he has toned muscles. Much to a lot of peoples surprise, he does in fact have abs underneath the clothes he wears. He has short blonde hair that curls a bit at the ends. He has no body or facial hair whatsoever. His earlobes are pierced so he can wear earrings.

Cam loves pink and cute things, and that extends to his choice of clothes as well. He enjoys floral patterns, stars, hearts, smiley faces, basically anything cute. He also enjoys wearing cute dresses from time to time, and doesn't think it's fair that only girls should wear them. His adoptive father never let him wear the kinds of clothes he wanted to wear, so now he takes advantage of his freedom. He currently wears a pink sleeveless top with a white vest over it. He also wears a white tie around his neck that has a light blue brooch attached to it. He wears a pair of wide pink trousers as bottoms. The trousers are decorated with light blue accents, including little stars on the pockets. They are also held up by a white belt that has a light blue buckle. On his feet are a pair of light blue boots. He accesorizes with pink star earrings in his earlobes. He also wears a pink cap on top of his head that is intentionally worn to the side. The front of the cap is also decorated with a light blue star, as well as a stripe around the visor.

As Dynamo, Cameron wears a pink full body suit. The suit has purple speed lines on it. He also wears purple elbow length gloves. He also wears a purple belt with a starburst as the buckle. Even though he doesn’t need to conceal his identity at this point, he still wears a purple hood over his head, and a pink visor over his eyes.

Powers: Super Speed: Cameron can move at very high speeds. This comes with corresponding agility, stamina, mental processing speed, and healing.

Cameron has to consume a lot of calories to maintain his powers. The good news, he can eat all the sweets he wants without gaining any weight!

Personality: Cameron is innocent, carefree, and seemingly always happy. He is a cheerful man who doesn't like to let bad things bother him. He always has a smile on his face even during the mort dire of situations, and is often in a good mood in general. He is an eternal optimist, and likes to see the good in every situation. He believes that if you focus on the positive, and ignore the bad, the bad stuff will just go away.

His optimism is most prevelant in his dealings with other people. He does his best to share his positivity with others, and tries his best to comfort other people who are sad. He likes to believe that everyone is ultimately good, and always gives people the benefit of the doubt. However, he can be quick to trust the wrong people because of his optimism. He rarely ever gets mad at others. Even if he does get mad, he gets over it very quickly. He openly expresses affection through touching in the form of hugs, holding hands, as well as stroking and grabbing shoulders.

He is easily exciteable and hyperactive. It is difficult to get him to sit still and focus on a single subject for too long before he gets bored and move on to the next thing. While he is able to think quick on his feet during intense situations. he often acts impulsively, and jumps to conclusions without thinking first. Even in conversations, he tends to go off on tangents. He is also quick to apologize for anything he regrets doing, even if he hasn't done anything wrong. His parents punished him harshly for any little mistake, so he is constantly concerned about displeasing others.

He is both a pop star and superhero in order to bring joy and happiness for others. He also enjoyed the attention and fame being a superhero brings. After he left the institute, he became an actor for the purposes of getting attention and fame. Cameron knows he is adorable, and he does use it to his advantage if he knows if it will benefit him somehow. He’ll use his cheery personality, and childish behaviors to manipulate others. He’ll play dumb, and act like he doesn’t understand the other person’s request, to avoid rejection, or just get out of situation he doesn’t like. He is also very good at acting, and knows how to say just the right things to get what he wants, or just to get attention when he feels lonely.

Cameron has a passion for cute and pretty things. Most of his possessions are pink, he has a collection of plush toys and fashion dolls, and has many other childish interests. So many people have a problem with an adult man liking such things, but Cam does not care. Due to his upbringing, he missed out on his childhood, so now he's making up for lost time. He loves every kind of sweets and desserts. Ultimately, Cameron not only wants to be happy himself, but also to make others happy.

Status: Cameron operates as a Superhero publically. He tried the whole secret identity thing, but was quickly busted. Now he’s a Pop Star that films his Superhero exploits for TV (Managers idea) Cameron isn’t sure that’s the best idea, but his fans love it, and his record sales have jumped so he goes along with it.

Background: Cameron was born to Movie Star Luana Mason. She had an affair with another actor, and only kept the child for the publicity. For a while, Cameron was raised by nannies hired by his mother. As Luana got older, she became less relevant and lost out on roles to younger actresses. She turned her attention to her son. If she couldn’t be in the spotlight anymore, then she would make her son a star, and live the glamorous lifestyle of a celebrity through him.

So, when Cameron turned 5, he was put through all kinds of lessons. Singing lessons, dance lessons, acting lessons, and he was still homeschooled to get a normal education. Cameron didn’t understand what all this was for, but went along with it to please his mother, and he believed she had good intentions. Besides, Cameron did enjoy some of the lessons his mother put him in. He liked singing and dancing, and it was discovered that he had a beautiful singing voice.

When he was 12, Cameron discovered what all these lessons were for. He was entered into talent shows, and taken to various recording studios where he was made to sing and perform for people. He soon got himself a record deal. He soon launched to the top of the Pop Charts with his hit single “Love is Like a Gummy Bear.” All of a sudden, Cameron was a bona fide Pop Star, and his stage mom was his manager.

After this, Cameron’s life became much more hectic. He was recording songs, doing concerts, and all the things that Pop Stars do. His had a tight and brutal schedule. His mother loved it, and she lived a glamorous lifestyle on Cameron’s money. She also became much more strict with him. He would be punished for the slightest slip up (sometimes beaten.) Despite the harshness, Cameron found himself enjoying being a Pop Star. It gave him a sense of purpose. To bring joy into people’s lives. Cameron had a number of fans. On the days when things were difficult, he had to remind himself that he was making people happy. He also enjoyed all the fame and attention he got from being a Pop Star. Whenever he was paraded out in public, Cam was the one front in center, the center of attention. He was always willing to interact with fans and pose for pictures when his mother allowed it.

Things changed when he turned 18. While he loved being a Pop Star, he could see that his momager wasn’t a nice lady. He was spending his money, and frankly he wanted a little more freedom. So, he fired her. There was a lot of drama, and lawsuits involved, but Cameron came out ok in the end. He got a brand new manager who was actually a decent human being, and Cameron now had room to breathe a little.

To celebrate, Cameron put on a major concert. Everything was going well, but several things happened to make the concert end early. There was an explosion at the laboratory that was near the concert venue Cameron was performing. This caused a strange blue mist to spread all over the area. As everyone was trying to evacuate, Cameron was unfortunately struck by lightning, and had to be put in the hospital.

Months later, Cameron woke up from a coma and was released from the hospital. Fortunately for him he was able to resume his Pop Star career. He got a ton of publicity from the incident. He would soon came to discover that he had Super Speed abilities. At first, he tried to keep a secret identity and used the name Dynamo to become a Super Hero. He stopped robberies and other crimes. He soon discovered that being a Pop Star and a Superhero at the same was difficult, and he got busted.

However, instead of giving up the Superhero life, his manager encouraged him to continue. The whole world knows who he is, and they love him even more for it. His record sales went up. Now he operates as a celebrity Superhero openly and films his exploits for reality TV, and is still a world famous Pop Star.

• Telekinetic barriers - he can manipulate them to do a lot of stuff from shielding him and others, to using a shield to suffocate someone or even a bubble of invisibility. The more manipulative types of barrier (like invisibility) the more it drains him to use.
• Telekinesis - the movement of objects through thought. The larger the object, the more it drains him to move (i.e. moving a tank is more strenuous than moving a bicycle.) Moving himself takes less effort than moving someone else.
• Suggestion - the use of touch and/or eye contact and a verbal cue to try to get someone to do what he wishes. It is not so much mind control as it is more trying to overpower a desire of someone else with what he wants. Things that contradict what a person normally would do (such as a pacifist being commanded to attack someone) would have more resistance than someone being told to do something they normally would. Combining eye contact and skin to skin contact helps overcome it, but doesn’t bypass a person’s will power to resist; weak minded individuals have trouble resisting, whereas people that have a strong sense of self tend to have an easier time shrugging off attempts at the suggestion. (Jedi Mind trick, pretty much)

Mundane Abilities

• Black Op/Spec Ops - trained for stealth, infiltration, assassination, and advanced combat training beyond standard military operations. Specialized in black op missions to eliminate high profile targets and recover prisoners from extreme situations.
• Excellent hand dexterity. - skilled at sleight of hand to palm objects, misdirect, and otherwise do extremely fine motor skills like picking locks.
• Multilingual - speaks several languages, some he can just get by in while others are near fluent.
• Skilled Pianist - years of practice has given him a lot of skill at playing piano, and a love for music.

Personality

Wayne is generally laid back, or at least that’s what he wants everyone to believe. He’s always seems willing to take things in stride, but it’s also very obvious he’s always planning at least a half dozen escape strategies in case things go south. Because in his experience, they always go south. Even when things do, he still maintains a calm, almost carefree persona. The dangerous mind beneath comes to the surface when he feels threatened, showcasing a willingness to do anything and everything it takes to protect himself and those he cares about.
He tends to have a way with words, and enjoys trying to convince people of a wide range of things from what may lay in his past, to what he is actually capable of. It’s not readily clear why - whether he’s afraid of letting people know the truth about him, or he is doing it for fun, or if he really can’t tell what was true about his past from what files say about him. He can be quite manipulative when he wants to be, and tends to always be watching those around him; this study of others helps him pick up on things that can be used to get what he wants without having to use his Suggestion.
He doesn’t like to give up, no matter what the circumstance. If something peaks his interest, he will give it his all to see it completed. And there is nothing that he won’t do for those he cares about. May fate look kindly on someone that sees to get on his bad side, for there is little that will stop him from enacting vengeance for transgressions against him or his loved ones.
Force
As Force, he is stern and quiet. He takes his jobs seriously and prefers unnecessary chatter be held to a minimum. He operates as a deadly force, looking to complete jobs swiftly and quietly. It’s uncommon for him to crack quips, and is known to respond with unnecessary force in order to ensure the job is successful. He will not tolerate failure, and has sidelined people that mess up.

No one knows about his alter-ego.

Background

While born with his powers, they weren’t something that was readily active in his life until he was a fair bit older. He and his sister grew up under the strict thumb of their mother. She used them as trophies to show off when having rich clients over for dinner and such. It was her that started him learning skills that would come to influence his later life, including foreign languages, how to manipulate others to do what he wanted without his powers, and combat training.

The older he got, the more he chafed from the constant pressure to excel. He did fine in school, but he was developing a rebellious nature against helping showoff for his mother to praise. After graduation, he went into the military as an escape - a way to make something of himself with what he had without needing her money. He excelled there, and was recruited out of training for clandestine missions. Most of his history from the age of twenty to twenty-eight is redacted, with information sent home as misdirections to hide where he actually operated.

It was when he was 28 that he did the most impulsive thing he had ever done. In the years leading up to it, Wayne worked with another meta-human named Alexandra “Alex” Reed who had a brother back home. The two got word through an anonymous informant that their siblings ended up taken by a facility that experimented on meta-humans. It didn’t take long for the two to end up back on home soil to infiltrate the facility and rescue their family. The pair were burned as operatives immediately after getting their family to a safe location.

In the years that followed, Wayne purchased a bar he named The Red Door, and slowly started using it as a front for the mercenary group Disavowed, run by a shadow figure named Jack Smit. He and his friends run it as a safe haven, and he takes pride in using it as a way to network with the city’s “meta” scene. He’s even opened up a “patch up” clinic that runs out of a backroom, where injured heroes and villains alike can come to get fixed up (sometimes for a price) without having to worry about hospitals asking questions, or fear of their identities being revealed.
