Art Challenges - Guild Version

Hey fellow artists!

I know we have the Art Contests on the Guild every now and then - but I was wondering if any of you would be interested in bi-weekly/monthly etc challenges?

Something I've seen on Instagram is the Draw In My Style challenge, where you take the art of someone and basically recreate it in your style.

I'd love to have a go, I'm in the habit of practicing art and I'd also love to make new art friends! :)

I'd like to suggest that this be done collaboratively, having either the winner pick the next style/subject or a user generated list from which the next style/subject is picked randomly.

Something like a style choice and the. 2-3 subject choices. So you might be Art-Nouveau Skulls/Bears/Alien or it might be New School Fantasy/Beach/Animals or Chiaroscuro Cyber Punk/Metal Band/Christmas. You could also use visual cues to help explain visually rather than through text.

I'd also like to suggest voting done only through participants.

Just as an FYI this won’t be a contest, purely just a collaborative practice challenge. Very informal, and you can always skip a round if you don’t want to. I do think there should be a rotation of the prompts with the participants too :)

I'd be down to do some challenges. It'd help me buff up my portfolio!

That said, be forewarned, I will turn every prompt into monstergirls. Or just gay girls. Mostly both.
