VT ran the scans looking around the temple and tilted his head as he got over a few hundred different readings "I am guessing we are not alone I am picking up hundreds of other power signatures around-" he froze when he saw an energy level of her off the books "Yep definitely beyond what we know" he said before seeing the kitsune power levels also rise insane as well "the fuck his power is raising but the collar?" he muttered looking at it and seeing small cracks start appearing. Before the power level of the fox dropped completely back to normal as the fox grunted slightly and spoke.

"Well if you happen to get into the afterlife can I at least have a moment with my wife before you drag me back?" asked the kitsune slowly opening his eyes still being a smartass all the way as he grunted "Owch," he said.

VT looked at them "so what exactualy was just that Sarena?"

Bane nodded and muttered “we don’t tell vos about this...not a word...” Serena finished her work and her modern outfit appeared again. She stood there panting, dripping in sweat and tears. She glared at the fox and muttered “I think...I can do that...for her...not you after what you...put us thru...a freaking car...”

She stumbled back and her sword fell from her hands, hitting the floor. She looked back at VT and muttered “I called for aid gods...that’s all I can really say...” she swayed and closed her eyes a moment. “Are...you okay...torak...?”

Bane frowned and said “vt, what are her levels now? Hurry”

"says the girl that slammed her head into a doorway," said amused before slowly getting up and looking at her and back at VT.

"Power level stabilized back to normal, Though no doubt she will be tired after that" said the android nodding his head as the fox nodded and got up and grunted. Before grabbing her and picking her up in his arms and smirked "Now can we please for the love of all things go to finish this mission? so that Sarena doesn't; 't bash her head into any more doors and I don't get hit by cars?" he asked at them as VT nodded.

"Yeah we should probably have somethings researched and ready to go before vos comes to grab us"

Bane nodded and said “I’m going to make this easier...” he pulled his shirt off and tossed it to the droid and said “I need the sensors. I’ll go set up around the city. I’m going to shift. I’ll be faster. VT, get any data you can and you two just stay there till. Tosak can you make sure she doesn’t move...at all...”

He cracked his neck and suddenly started to shift, fur bursting from his skin. After a few minutes a wolf stood before them, his tame version so he would blend in. He barked and headed out the opening and vanishing.

Serena stumbled and felt his arms around her. She leaned her head against his chest, breathing hard. “I’m fine...it was just one doorway...”

VT nodded as he looked at the two "Don't move or Vos will be the last of your worries" he said in a warning that was true before he left, his speed running around the city his scanners scanning all things around him as he ran with the wolf. The scans picked up many different things then one beeped an alarm and the android stopped running and saw an old Japanese shop and raised an eyebrow and tapped the scanner"the hell is wrong with this thing?" he grumbled as it kept beeping at him.

The fox looked at her and smirked slightly "Okay listen I don't know how many doors you have walked into in your life but you could hear your head bounce back" he teased and moved them to a other room so that she could lay on a bed.

Bane stopped by him and said mentally “I sense something off too...so we check it out or wait till we get all the scans back?” He sniffed the air, then started walking towards the building.

Serena smirked then said “that’s true...I’m sorry I went off like that...I wasn’t sure what else to do...and the voices wouldn’t shut up...and it was the only thing I could think to do...” she looked up at him, her vision blurring as she said “Torak...you didn’t...hear...any voices when I was doing my thing...before did you?”

The Andriod glares at Bane "Yeah let's just walk into a strange building why don't we?" he grumbled as the scanner was still scanning and sighed as he walked in with bane though they had to break an old lock and coughed at the dust "No ones been here for a long time" he coughed and waved his hand looking around. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary till bane picked up something as Andriod scanned it as it came back as a shrine, an old Japanese soul shrine "well.....someone is collecting shrines strange but why?" wondered as he looked around seeing the hundreds of thousands of these shrines all stacked everywhere.

"To lure out a fox" spoke a voice causing both to jump as a door closed as a man stood there looking like an old fashioned samurai, he stood rather tall and scaryt looking.

"Uh...really well we don't know of any and if you are the keeper of this place we are incredibly sorry and we should be leaving" he said looking at bane with...worry.

The fox shook his head at the question "No i can't hear anything from the supernatural world. I can hear then in real bad times or when I am really ready to give up. They chant or cheer...only thing that keeps me running sometimes I think.....their wish" said tapping hid finger on his chin "Besides the collar doesn't allow me to use most of my powers I am supposed to be using meaning most things I can normally do I can't"

Bane growled and barked at the man, his aura building. Then he shifted back to his human form and said “sorry...no foxes, just a wolf and robot. Thought we saw something but turns out it was just you...” he reached for his pistol in his jacket, ready for anything.

Serena nodded, glad he didn’t hear what she had heard. They walked into the room she looked at him and said “Torak...can you keep a secret? I mean from everyone else?” She noticed he hadn’t put her down yet, which was smart since she couldn’t feel her legs.

The male tilted his head "if your gonna lie to an all-knowing night keeper of the gates you might as well give it more of a try" said the figure walking closer before standing a foot from the "Now do tell Toraksui when you see him next, that good of Ayuk was looking for him " said and waved hi shand "Now please leave my shop" as the android eyes narrowed slightly "we shall get going then, Bane come on" he said ushering the wolf out.

The fox looked at her slowly and tilted his head "I can keep a secret" he nodded his head smiling slightly "All promises are key at heart"

Bane frowned and said “we didn’t lie...there is no fox here with us...and we will tell him...” he followed the droid out and shut the door behind them. “Well...that was interesting...good thing Torak isn’t with us...” he looked around and said “where have we missed?”

Serena slowly got down from his arms but held onto him so she wouldn’t fall. She was still shaking and looked like she was going to pass out. But she looked up at him and said “I’m not the company thinks I am...I lied to the company about where I got my powers from...from what you have seen I’m not...well, like others there. My powers do come from the goddess Nyx...but I wasn’t just blessed with them. I’m blood related to her, at least a vessel. And...my father...wasn’t human. Torak, the reason I know a lot about the gates and spirits is...” she paused, hoping he wouldn’t be mad for what she was about to tell him.

She took a shaky breath and said “Toraksui...he was like you. His a spirit being...not a fox but similar...and he was tasked as guardian of the spirit world before he died in battle. Then I took the job as his first born...and...” she blinked hard, feeling lightheaded. “I’m unbalanced because of the gates being broken and trying to fix them. But also because of the spirits and their cries to fix all of this...and to help you. I don’t know how to help you but I want too...and...” she stopped, moving her head to lean on his chest. She was tapped out and fighting just to stay on her feet.

“I’m sorry...I’m not making sense right now...the company took my brother to make me work for them...they are using him...like you and...I am losing it...Vos doesn’t know...I don’t know where he is but I feel his pain and it’s so much like yours I’m fearing the worse...and your the only one who could understand...” she didn’t know why she was telling him all of this, maybe because she knew she could trust him. And that he wouldn’t tell anyone because he had no reason to help the ones that ruined both their lives as it was coming out.

VT looked at his scans finding over 400 new updates on everything and nodded "I think we have enough things for right now" he nodded and looked through them to make sure none was about Toraksui or Sarena and nodding as he found none "we might be able to head back and be there before we get picked up." he said as he looked back at that shop "something gives me a feeling maybe we might be seeing this place again" said as he nodded and started to run back off.

The fox looked at her, now as a gatekeeper. He should have been furious he should have been livid he should have really torn her a new one for the danger she put everyone in. But instead, he held her close and closed his eyes "We will fix it I promise Sarena" he said his eyes closed slightly "You're not the first to break rules and cause trouble for many" he said slowly

"I was a human, humans can't be a gatekeeper. But ....." he tightened his jaw slightly "My wife and I were a perfect team and when I had to go away and find my honor and discipline for her and I had failed" he mutters slightly as he sighed gently.

"We commented suicide together that day, we both ended each other life though I stayed alive enough to hold her body with me before I passed. The gatekeeper refused me entry refused me rest, refused me, my wife, and my family. I wondered most of my life around as a spirit learning adapting, overcoming." he said slowly though he remembers not much after that part still.

Bane nodded and said “ya...I have the same feeling...” he followed the droid and while on the way back he muttered “VT...what the heck was that at the temple? I have never seen anything like that...she’s not telling us something is she?”

Serena looked up at him and muttered weakly “that’s what’s causing it...we have to fix the unbalance...we have to fix all of this and repair the gates...we have to find keepers...we...” she closed her eyes, the room spinning around her. “I don’t regret what I did to be here...if not I wouldn’t have met you...your a good hearted man, Torak...you have every right to be mad at the world...I want to make it right...you shouldn’t have been parted from her...” she was babbling now, her mind out of focus.

The droid shrugged his shoulders "Everyone hides a secret, some don't tell till they are ready" said as they ran back toward the temple "Temple my guess just her powers influenced at a temple of nyx"

The kitsune looked at her slowly and smirked at her "No I have no right to be angry at the world. I have the right to be angry with the corporation and those that took away those that I love but the world isn't my target" he mutters slightly and looked at her "Rest up maybe by the time you wake up we will be close to getting picked up" he muses gently though he hated the idea of going back he knew vos would hunt him down to the ends of earth.

"Besides we will fix it, promise just need time"

Bane stopped the droid before they went inside and said “VT...we have to find out about her brother when we get back...she’s saved our necks this mission...we have to do this..” he looked around and frowned. “I smell something off..”

Serena nodded absentmindedly and said “you don’t want to go back...bane said he would get you out of the shrine...maybe you can stay with bane or me...our places aren’t locked down...and maybe we could figure a better way around the collar...your neck is burned and that’s...” she leaned more into his chest, weakness hitting her hard. “Torak...it’s hard to stay standing...the room is spinning...”

"Shrines the only way I can fully recuperate anything I have lost be in peace of mind or power or energy" he said amused "Besuides Vos isn't very keen on letting just anyone hold onto me that easily" he yawned slightly as he was tired but shook it away. "Get some sleep, you'll be safe and fine" he mutters gently.

The droid looked at the werewolf "We be having to do any of that incredibly sneaky" he said and looked around "Good lord now what can be wrong?" he groaned.

Bane smirked and said “that’s my skill set...we have all the skills to be very sneaky...” he looked around and said “nothing wrong...there’s just a smell that’s odd...” he paused and then said “it’s a magic scent. The temple is covered in it...” he shook his head and said “let’s go inside and make sure the pair are okay...”

Serena yawned and muttered “I’m staying at the shrine by the main office...you could stay there with me so your not alone...and I’m sure something better could be...thought...” she closed her eyes and suddenly her legs buckled against him, her body giving up trying to stay upright.

VT roleld his eyes at bane and punched his shoulder lightly before walking in and looking around "YO LOVEBUGS"He yelled as he found them both just passed out and shook his head "aww look at them all tuckered out" smirks amused

The kitsune was fast asleep holding her against him, his blade stayed silent and dull once again as he rested against a wall.

Vt rolled his eyes amused and looked around "I guess we should move away from the temple not sure sarena would want the corp to come here and pick them up"

Bane sighed and smiled softly at the pair sleeping. “She risked her neck for him...I’ll see where we can do the pick up and move them when it’s closer...” he stepped back outside and scouted the area.

Serena curled against him, breathing deeply and finally sleeping. Bane came back and said “there’s a park across the street...we can take them there an hour before, around eleven...” he leaned against the wall and said “any ideas to fix this collar thing?”

Vt nodded his head slightly and sighed picking up the kitsune "Alright come on foxy bud, time to get us somewhere a little better for pick up" he said taking off running. Though he felt his entire body hurt sharply as he grunted as he got to the park and set down the fox rasping slightly "The fuck?" he groaned slightly feeling his entire body hurt like crazy. The kitsune where known for granting wishes or requests, and though it hurt to use his powers...he decided it was about time he granted a wish from the driod.

Bane nodded and picked up Serena and followed them. He set Serena on a bench and looked over at VT and asked “hey what’s wrong? Wait you can feel? Since when?”
