[IC] The Golden Crescent Hunt {Private} MegaraFoxfire and Dragon Princess

Vos glared harshly before speaking "bring it" she said looking to a guard. The guard objected but a stern glare as it went off to grab the little fox shrine.

"Guess you'll have it your way." Dismissed them tiredly before the guard came back as she nodded holding a small Japanese fox statue.

"Don't even try me bane about the collar" she said in warning. She was not dumb, she knew bane hates collars but at least he didn't have to wear it.

"VT I expect a full scan summery tommorow"

"Uh yeah about that " he rubbed his head nervously as his glared and groaned.

"Why is it every time I send that fox out things get messed up more " she grumbled and gave bane the fox statue "go to sleep, or healing room or whatever but I expect a report in my office by six sharp "

Toraksui glared slightly and rolled his eyes slightly and looked at the strange fox statue that he resided in. It was small but to a spirit it was everything, it was their little home.

Bane glared as she walked off and handed the statue to Serena who took it carefully and held it in her arms. Bane looked tired again as he muttered “I’ll go to the tech department and figure out a compromise on the collar...” he rubbed his eyes and cursed softly in Norse.

Serena smiled weakly at Toraksui. “Can you hold your shrine? Some spirits can and others can’t. Where do you want to stay tonight? Bane and I have been sharing a common room, I think there’s three bedrooms in it if you want your own space...”

Bane looked at VT and said “I have the data on my computer...I can send it to wherever we need...” the pair started walking, both needing the healing room but neither turned to go there. Serena hugged the statue safely, not wanting anything to happen to it.

The fox shook his head "no I can't hold it but just place it wherever and I'll be fine" he said exhausted and needing sleep. Wherever sarena put it down the kitsune touched the fox forehead and slowly vanished into the statue. Needing to recuperate, and heal up which often their shrine or statue could provide.

VT looked at bane nodding slowly and watched them leave and sighed "stubborn refusing to go and heal" he said amused before heading back to his room and flopping in a bed tiredly and fell asleep sleep.

Serena took it to the common area and into the spare room, sitting it on the head board of the bed and smiling at him. “Good night Toraksui...” then she sighed and moved to the common room. Her and Bane sat on the couches and both pulled their weapons out.

Bane looked at her and said “take shifts?” Serena nodded and said “you sleep first...” bane nodded and leaned back and closed his eyes. They wouldn’t tell the other two, but they didn’t trust the company to leave Toraksui alone. They would stay up all night to make sure they didn’t take him again.

A few hours in both of them were awake, not able to sleep even though they both needed it. Serena was trying to rewrap her busted shoulder as Bane was pacing around.

Ther kitsune would be fast asleep, even past six o'clock even all of them where supposed to be reporting for a briefing with Vos on what the findings where as well.

VT on the other hand was wide awake and knew where their room where and so he walked in with some coffees knowing they most likely didn;t sleep "And i was right you both look like death and why do you have weapons right next to you?" he asked handing them their coffees

Bane walked over and took the coffee with a thank you, rubbing his neck as he drank it. Serena looked up and said “we couldn’t sleep...and weapons are out in case the company tried to move Toraksui back to the prison...”

Bane looked at VT and said “we didn’t want to take any chances...how long till the meeting with Vos?”

VT looked at them slowly and nodded and could understand it "About an hour from now" before dropping large folder on them marked with Toraksui name on it and smiled mischievously "Now don't say anything, but human or not I am a skilled hacker" he grinned slightly "Snuck the password off a guard pocket" said amused before sitting down "Bane you get up all the info from my scanner?" asked tossing it over.

Serena picked up the file and opened it, smiling. “Is this his whole file?” Bane nodded and moved over to his desk and pulled a file off the printer and handed it to him. “Report and I sent all the data to your server...” he drank from the coffee again, dark shadows under his eyes.

Serena was reading thru the file and said “this is a lot of info...I’d hate to see what they had on me...” she yawned, holding her shoulder. “VT? That reminds me...can you pop my shoulder back into place? I messed it up and Bane wanted you to check it before he tried...”

VT shrugged "I don't know its all the company has on him so far really. I don't know if there is any way to maybe find his home village or anything from there. Or any idea of how to get the collar off and how it even managed to trap him for so long?" he asked before going over to Sarena and absentmindedly snapped her shoulder blade back into place. While still human his field of medical knowledge still existed.

The fox eventually started to stir within the shrine, only shown as the beads around the statue's collar started to rumble slightly.

"Speaking of which did anyone see Toraksui blade, the guard said they didn't see him come back with it," said VT as he nodded as he leaned against the wall slightly.

Serena gasped in pain held her shoulder, fighting not to black out. She muttered thanks then closed her eyes. “I haven’t seen it...I’ll see what I can find in the report...”

Bane stood and rolled his neck, finishing the coffee. “I’ll go with ya VT...Serena?” She waved them off as she read over the file and the pair left. Bane rubbed his eyes as they walked and said “maybe the sword vanished when he was out of energy? Or we left it by mistake...I can look for it later if he doesn’t have it...” he looked beat as they headed Vos’s office, not looking forward to being yelled at.

Serena was looking over the file, fighting to keep her eyes open as her sword lay on her lap at the ready. She paused at something on a report and muttered “hold on...the shrine was made here...maybe his from somewhere nearby...spirits always pick something they are familiar with...” she moved to drink more coffee but the cup was empty and she sighed.

The fox came out of his shrine skillfully silent and was standing in the doorway and looked at her before flicking his hand as the coffee refilled "Well good morning what file you got there?" he asked tilting his head.

Vt nodded his head as he sighed at the ide aof getting yelled at for things none of them controlled over but he would live "Ready for a ass chewing?" he muses and nodded "Maybe he dropped it when I was moving him" said before walking into the office and man did Vos look like one pissed off nightmare.

Serena looked up and smiled softly at him. “VT is very skilled hacker. He got your file that they had on you. I was seeing what they had to make sure they don’t have any surprises in store...also is your sword missing? I looked for it and the guard said you didn’t have it...” she picked up the coffee and moved over on the couch so he could sit and see what she was looking at.

Bane rolled his neck and said “I can handle her...she is just stressed...” he walked in and said “morning captain...we have the report for you and I have the scanner read outs for you...live feeds will help.” He smiled weakly and finished his coffee and muttered “will get more coffee later...”

The kitsune sighed hearing it was his file and sat down and looked at it "Never thought they keep track of me" muses and rolled his shoulders seeing his actual shrine and frowned slightly and sighed as he looked around the page. There were many things about the kitsune capture that never made sense, as such as his capture he had no blade, no weapon.

He also said to have never spoken a word of English and the village or place he came from was impossible to see through energy reads around them were incredibly high. Unknown to the company they had wandered into the spirit realm and provoked the fox into an attack mode.

Vt looked at the captain who looked ready to skin both of them alive "I said a full report that means everyone from the mission is to be here" she narrowed her eyes.

"Sorry captain both of them were incredibly tired and we thought it be best we keep our two best plays at full energy should we need another mission soon," said handing her the report as she sighed and just shrugged and started looking through it.

"So nothing really new to report I am guessing," she said not even looking up as Vt frowned "Unfortunately no, the city had supernatural readings but my scanners didn't pick up on anything unusual other than a shop that Bane and I found but even then-" He was cut off as she looked up at them.

"These soul shrines were where they ?" she asked holding up a photo. of the soul shrine that they managed to scan "erm we found it at a shop, the ...owner of the shop didn;t really like us being there and such" he said. Vos raised an eyebrow at this news "seems they gave off an energy reading the same ones the company have been tracking for a while now" she said pulling up on a screen behind her a village town ina Japanese village.

Serena looked over at what he was reading and said “I found it off too...from what I heard over the years that never seemed right...but we can figure it out...” she closed her eyes a moment and rolled her neck. Then said “where is your sword? We didn’t leave it at the temple did we? It’s safe there...might be tricky to get it but I can go get it back for you if you wish” she looked at him, looking more tired if it were possible. She drank more coffee, hoping the caffeine would help but it wasn’t working as well to cover up how tired she was. She moved her sword to the table now that he was next to her, easier to grab in case of trouble.

Bane looked at the image and said “it smelled off too...it didn’t belong to the area. It was like it was photoshopped on the street...” he suddenly yawned and covered his mouth. “Sorry captain...what would you like us to do next?”

"blade probably off having its own return back to the spirit realm. " he said waving his hand and touche his own forehead slightly and eyes glowed "Back to the village seal it seemed to have gone back to" he said and shook off the blade sight "It will be a while before it will come back" said amused as he looked at the file a few more pages before finding their readings on him boring.

The captain spoke "You and Bane will be going to a village to retrieve what is causing energy readings" she explained.

"Oh not Toraksui or sarena?"

"NO the fox needs to be reevaluated and assessed again," she said as VT raised an eyebrow "Um are you sure that's a good idea he needs medical help his neck is still bleeding probably from the collar and such," he said as Vos glared at him.

"Since when did you two take any interest in the well beings of a murderous fox demon?"

"well he hasn;'t been very fox demon murderous to us" VT muttered.

Serena nodded and closed the file. “Well nothing too interesting but good to know what they know...” she sighed and finished the coffee again. “Dang it...it’s not working...” she got up and walked around a little, trying to wake up. “We stayed up to make sure no one tried to take you...just need to wake up...” she paused and rubbed her eyes.

Bane looked at her and said “he saved our necks when that plane blew up...and my honor says I have to repay that debt...please Vos. Is there anything we can do? A wrist band instead of the collar? Anything? Please Vos...you know how my inner wolf gets when it comes to things like this...”

The kitsune looked at her rather floored that anyone would stay awake for him "No you need sleep not awake" he said frowning at her slightly "You know I am not a damsel" he grinned at her slightly the first time she snapped at him she said the same thing.

"I can see what my superiors say but I doubt it will fly that anything else can be used to contain him. The only reason its as collar its the only thing that really gets into the back of the neck nerves to keep him from jumping ship and slaughtering us all" she said the control aspect was pain, but sooner or later as they could see he adapted to it.

"But after his evaluation is complete then we can talk about a different device" she gave them a folder with the only info they had on the village. And it dated back to 300AD.

VT frowned at the idea of the fox being tested again he had seen it the last time and it was awful. The fox got tested every year, it was to keep tabs on his power increase which grew hugely every year. No one knew why he only grew in power and never seemed to platue or stop growing. Gods and goddess when mature their powers peaked and that was it they could learn to use their powers in a different ways but raw power stayed the same.

Serena smirked and said “no, you are a fellow warrior that needed defending because you can’t in the shrine...and Bane and I were happy to do it...” she looked out the window and blinked a few times, dosing a little then shook her head. “Anyway...I’m sticking with you till we can make sure your treated right and better...”

Bane sighed and took the folder. “Okay...I’ll look at other devices and we will handle this village look. As a warning though Serena won’t leave his side so she will be there for testing...” he yawned again and rubbed his neck. “Anything else captain we need to worry about?”

Torak smirked amused by her "You came to the wrong company for that treatment" said knowing they never wound and knowing today was testing day and he knew shed try and stop it but she couldn't. Seeing the door slide opened saw the two comeback in.

"At least you guys don't look burnt or electrocuted," said smirking as that's often how his reports with vos have always been like. VT sighed and nodded "she definitely was thinking it" said and put down the file though the file was suddenly grabbed swiftly by the kitsune before it even hit the table. The kitsune eyes scanning it swiftly.

"I'm guessing this place has something you like to tell us about?" he asked as the fox didn't seem to hear and scanning through the file and frowned "No nothing really, just a village I knew," said handing it back.

"Vos said today is testing day Toraksui" as the fox shrugged his shoulders "Like every single year" the was completely shut down and literal death guards where called on testing sights with Toraksui because of how bad it could get a few time.

Serena frowned and said “I’m going with you this time...I will sick my shadows on them if they go overboard...” bane nodded and said “and I’ll look at this village and make sense why we have odd readings...”

Both of them looked beat and had dark circles under their eyes. Bane looked around and said “is there more coffee...” Serena shook her head and muttered “we need to wake up more...did Vos ask about anything that happened on the mission? And why we weren’t there...”
