Title: A fight for a kingdom-a fantasy royalty rp.
setting: a modern day city, name undecided, and then a kingdom in another realm, name undecided.
synopsis/plot:
In a modern day city, a girl is living a normal life. But, then, one night, as she was sitting in her room, reading a book, her room is suddenly bathed in a white light. She would gasp and shut her eyes tight. When she opened them, she discovered that she was in another world. She was very afraid and she made to run out of the room she was in. But, two guards would stop her. She would scream and beg for them to let her go.
That was when her mother appeared. But...she was dressed very differently. This young lady would be shocked to learn that her mother was a queen! And the queen of a fantasy world to boot. She was very scared and very confused. The girl demanded to know what was going on. She demanded the answers that she needed.
Her mother sighed.
"Do NOT talk to me like that!"
She gave her daughter that order. The young lady may have been 18 now, but she still had to respect her mother. Anyway, her mother had her sit down before she explained what was going on.
Apparently, years ago, a threat was made against the young lady when she was only a baby. Her mother, widowed and afraid, fled to another world with her, the human realm. She would raise her there, where she would be safe, until she was old enough to be announced as crown princess, and old enough to have powers like her mothers...her 18th year. The time had arrived. After she returned home, the mother had her council use a special summoning spell to retrieve her daughter and bring her straight there, to the crystal castle where she would call her new home, or rather, her birth home, the crown jewel of her true home, the realm in which she had been born in.
The young lady was stubborn at first, and did not believe her. However, that changed when she teared up and a nearby plant caught on fire, which quickly had to be put out. She gasped and backed away. Her eyes were wide. She was not sure what to say or think anymore. Her mother did her best to calm her down then.
Then, as she sat back down, her mother explained why she had been brought back. She was to succeed her mother soon, and take over as queen. To lessen the threats against her, she was to marry. Six suitors from other kingdoms, each of a different species, each a prince in his own right, would arrive to seek her hand. She would have to choose between them. The first was a Kistune. The second was a Neko. The third was a magical man with bird-like wings. The fourth was a sorcerer of some kind. The fifth was a tall pointed eared elf sort of man. The six and final suitor was a giant, also known as a titan, which were twice the size of themselves.
Soon, it would be time for her training. She would go through some proper princess and queen training. She would be forced to get to know her suitors better and eventually choose one of them to marry. She did not want to be a princess, or even a queen for that matter. She simply wanted to go home, go back to her normal life. But, she was told that she could not do that. That realm was not her true world. She was never supposed to live there, at least not forever. She had only been there to keep her safe from whomever had tried to harm her that day.
However, word would eventually reach whomever had sent that being after her when she was a baby. This person was the King of a shadow realm. He had heard a prophecy about her and her powers. Should she return, marry, and become queen, his own world would be destroyed, and his plans to conquer the rest of the realm would be for naught. And so, he would send assassins or the like to go after her. They would be spies and such. They would attempt to interfere with the queens plans and what was to happen with the princess and the suitors.
Anyway, the young lady's time in that world would begin. She would have no choice. This was her home now. However, there would be that danger, that threat, that she would have to deal with, on top of everything else. What was she going to do?
Who would she choose? Will she be willing to marry? Will she accept being queen? Will she truly be safe? Will she be able to defend herself? Would she be free to visit the earth, the human, realm again? Time would tell.
The suitors would be there every day. They all desired her. They all wanted to marry her. They all wanted to be king. They all wanted to protect her. The spies, the assassins, would keep an eye on her and do their best to do their jobs. The king would have them all killed if they failed.
