@BenG85 I am thrilled with your idea. As a boy, I watched Land of the Giants and Lost in Space as re-runs. Yes, I am that old. I was alive when the shows were aired, but unaware of such programs. The one character I was always fascinated with but never liked was Alexander Fitzhugh who only boarded the ship to escape the law. He was always a bungling menace with egotistical desires but seemed to impress the crew with some of his skills on occasion. He was a bit of a conman. I could go for a character like that.

I do appreciate @RedXIII's Dominic. If you would prefer a crewman first, I would take the Marshal.

Yeah, Fitzhugh was definitely the "Dr. Smith" of the group, but did at one point redeem himself.

Still looking for more players, going to see what I can do for demonstrating the Giants' appearance in my vision for this. I didn't want to have to reveal it before the game even started, but, I also want to keep this alive in the hopes of getting it off the ground.

Character Name: Jamal Malachai

Age: 33

Role: The Marshal

Personality: Jamal is a good-natured man with a positive attitude. He wishes only the best for his fellow man and treats everyone fairly. He is not naïve to the fact not everyone thinks the way he does. His appearance is generally immaculate. This is very important to him. Jamal has a soft spot for an attractive woman. A good-looking woman can take advantage of the Texas native without much effort. He also is competitive to the point, where he has to do things better than the next guy and/or give the “one up” line when an opportunity presents itself.

Skills: Investigations, Police Procedures, firearms use, 2nd degree black belt in Krav Maga (Hand to Hand combat), enjoys reading books; specifically military history or historical fiction novels. He usually has a book in his possession. Jamal rarely has a propensity for liquor but does prefer Jameson’s Whiskey when the opportunity arises. Jamal works out regularly and is in excellent physical condition.

Items: He dresses in relaxed fit navy-blue trousers and black New Balance shoes. He wears a red golf shirt with the crest of the 141st Infantry, Texas Army National Guard on the left side of his breast. He carries a SIG Sauer P239 handgun chambered in .357 SIG, /w 50 rounds of ammo in six (8 round) magazines, ASP 16" expandable baton and Handcuffs. Jamal carries a pack of Spearmint gum which he is often found chewing. He quit smoking cigarettes four yeasr ago and turned to chewing gum as an oral fixation.

Madeline Crowe

Character Name: Madeline Crowe

Age: 28

Role: Attendant 1

Personality: A young woman who’s had a rather complicated past. Madeline didn’t exactly have a role model growing up, and as a result, she was quite the troublemaker from a young age, regularly getting into trouble with the law which didn’t help her situation for the better. Madeline is honest to a fault, only lying occasionally whenever she benefits from it. Though she’s not typically an aggressive person, whenever she’s in the heat of the moment, her judgment may fail her, sometimes leading her to make regrettable decisions.

Skills: Having prior medic experience, Madeline is knowledgeable enough to treat serious injuries on the spot. She has a hard time feeling an emotional connection to people and thus every decision made when she’s caring for someone is based on prior experience and probability, not on emotion, oddly enough making her a good fit for the job.

Items: In a bag separate from her clothes and other personal items, Madeline has an assortment of items to include her first aid kit, a number of magazines and puzzle books for entertainment, water, and a few snacks. Madeline also carries a small switchblade on her person solely for her own protection.

Netahlie "Net" Sousje

Age: 35

Role: The Saboteur

Personality: Net is a cunning woman. For her, life in the wide galaxy has taken more than it has ever given. Prospects dried up for her long ago--along with her homeland which was ravaged by war--leaving Nat and her countrymen country-less. In space, there are no lines, no rules, no government. Along with her band, she takes what she needs from those whose hands still bear the blood of her brothers and sisters. Piracy opened wide the floodgates of what she'd be willing to do; though an incredulous itch in the back of Net's mind watched as it changed her cohorts into something unrecognizable. Restraining herself, Net volunteered to smuggle herself aboard unsuspecting crafts and steer them into the waiting hands of her crew.

Skills: Net is adept at electronic warfare, well, because a Trojan horse is much more effective than a brute force attack. Lying comes second nature for her and because of that, she's developed a keen eye for falsehood. She can defend herself in hand to hand combat, and always fights dirty. There's no honor in dying, after all. Secretive and hard to grant trust, Net has a low opinion of authority figures.

Items: She brought aboard a compact pistol with which she threatened the pilot and attempted to take control of the ship. Little did he and the marshal know, but she also carried a thumb drive that was responsible for taking down the ships shields and weapons--and for locking it on course. These two items, along with a thin blade in her boot are all she carries with her on the would-be short journey until she can reunite with her fellow pirates once again.

Character name: Charles Wayne Randal "C.W."

Age:50

Role:Passenger

Personality: C.W. is a retired big game hunter who boasts and brags of his youthful days, some of his tales may be a bit stretched from the truth.
He can be a bit stubborn, believes he knows all the right answers, even if he doesn't know the question.
Has a limp to his walk, sometimes uses a cane, which happens to be a hidden sword cane.
The injury came from a charging rhinoceros, when he was Just young man working as a hunting guide.

Skills: Tracking, Hunting, Marksmanship, although his eyesight is not as good as it once was.

Items: besides the sword cane, 4 cigars, Zippo lighter, & folding knife.

I watch em every Saturday night on METV, starting with Svenghoulie, Star Trek, Kolchak, LOG, Time Tunnel..
Used to watch Planet if the Apes series, but they took it off.
