Fears: Stepfather and basements.

Extra: Scott's stepfather is drunkard who takes his frustrations out on Scott either by whatever his handy or by fists, then locks him in the basement, until round two begins again.

Reason for detention: Got caught paying students to write his essays for him, nearly busted for smoking on school grounds as well

Personality: Often referred to as an ‘absolute bastard’, Evan is known throughout the school for being a bit of a compulsive liar who is always involved in some kind of scheme, whether it be to get out of a test or make a quick buck. Sardonic, deadpan and sarcastic most of the time, nobody really knows if he’s being serious or not. A loner, seemingly by choice, though he still has some strange connections due to the fact that he somehow manages to get his hand on every substance known to man.

Fears: Tight places, fire, not being able to move, faceless figures

Extra: Not much is publicly known about Evan, given his habit of making things up to whoever asks about himself. The only thing people really know about is his older brother, who was the opposite of Evan- a golden child, popular, captain of the football team , and who recently dropped out of college after being diagnosed with leukemia.

Reason for detention: Skipped school to go crash a lake party in the next town over hosted by college students. Pictures were posted online and the principal saw them.

Personality: Sweet, caring, hardworking... Adele is typically the golden child in the finally. Her older sister, Alice, was the one who convinced her to hang out with her at the lake party and despite being hesitant, Adele eventually agreed. Needless to say, she’s a bit of a push-over, but she will stand her ground if things are taken too far.

Fears: Failure, bugs, heights

Extra: Belongs to one of the wealthiest families in town.

Reason for detention: Didn’t turn in her assignment yet again because she “forgot”.

Personality: Mikaela has the typical “couldn’t care less” attitude. She often views a lot of people as an inconvenience rather than as human beings. She has no patience for anything and runs on a short fuse, often acting out when she feels she’s being messed with or manipulated. Her one soft spot is animals. In the yard, Mikaela has a number of rescues she takes care of on a regular basis. She even talks to them when she feels like opening up, knowing that they won’t go ahead and share her secrets. She has one close friend and doesn’t really hang out with anyone else as quite often she’s seen hanging out by herself.

Reason for detention:
Funny prank, poor execution. After being singled out and humiliated in front of his class by the Biology teacher for not knowing the subject matter well enough, Xander decided to hide some dead fish around the classroom as a sort of stinky vengeance. It backfired a bit when they traced the smell back to his hands and backpack. He was lucky to avoid suspension.

Personality
Sarcastic, insecure, vengeful, compassionate and loyal. Xander guards his emotions with humor, throwing out jokes and witticisms as figurative armor. Once you get passed his emotional barriers, he's a pretty sweet guy.

Fears
Xander has a fear of looking stupid, isn't terribly comfortable around clowns and suffers from autophobia (fear of being alone).

Role: The Nerd Who Took The Blame

Reason for Detention: Wanting nothing more than to be one of the "cool kids", Adam is willing to do (almost) anything just to fit in, even if for no other reason than to survive high school. Therefore, when the popular girl in his class started passing around a very crude photoshopped image of their math teacher, Adam took his chance and said it was him when the teacher found it.

Personality: Despite being your stereotypical awkward nerd, Adam is actually a very charismatic person. His personality can be easily described as a combination of charming, playful, carefree, and outgoing. He exudes confidence in everything he does and says, and just generally enjoys making sure everyone is happy. Always willing to be a martyr, to lend a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen, but unfortunately leads to him being the school bullies' favorite punching bag. Men aren't allowed to be sensitive, after all...
Though however confident he may seem, underneath lies an insecure teenager who surrounds himself with a carefully constructed facade to hide how much he hates himself and the destructive thoughts that won't leave him alone. High school is hell and he just wants to survive it's trials.

Fears: Bullies, his father, his own mind, solitude, quiet places

Extra/Background: When Adam's mother Evelynn died during childbirth, his father fell apart. John Harvey's life spiraled aggressively downward after that night. He went home with a screaming bundle in his arms that he raised purely because it was the only part of her he had left. But the older his son got, the more he saw her face reflected back at him, the more he grew to hate that Adam had been the one to survive. Adam's father thus started years of emotional abuse, saying his son had no right to be alive, the least he could do was make it worth his time. So Adam submerged himself into his academics, shunning any semblance of a social life. His relationship with his father became more one of toxic roommates than family. Adam generally enjoyed school and was very good at it. It gave him a much needed distraction from his home life. Until high school that is. Until he discovered his father wasn't the only bully life had to offer.
