Power Rangers/Masked Rider/VR Troopers Crossover Extravaganza

Really just throwing this one out there because of my love for the Boom! Comics iteration and everything they've done with the Power Rangers. As much as the PR/Masked Rider crossover from the 90's lead into a more craptastic spinoff for the Rider, the VR Troopers only ever got a reference in the more recent comics when it comes to a crossover. I basically want to make a crossover with them all.

The original premise of the game needed tweaking some to accommodate for everyone's varying experiences with the source material, but I think I've got an idea how to still work it together.

- An original group of Power Rangers loosely based on the classic MMPR will get attacked.

- A new original 6th Ranger will return from space and find his/her friends' HQ wrecked, and bring in an old friend from the planet Edenoi [a version of Masked Rider currently stationed on Earth] to fix Alpha 5.

- Upon tapping into the Morphing Grid, one or two of the Power Rangers will be rescued as well as the last VR Troopers.

- Another Masked Rider the governments of the world created to combat the alien from Edenoi also exists, but it is unclear who's side he is on.

- The threat of the RP will be a new version of the Machine Empire in league with the main villain of VR Troopers.

Same basic premise, but I cut out the second PR team in favor of a new 6th Ranger. This is all meant to be in one universe, and nothing is set in stone from the previous iterations. I also made spots for two different Riders since there seemed to be a bit of interest for more than just one, just need one of you to be an alien from Edenoi and the other to be man-made. I'll take the VR Trooper spot, as I've got an idea how to change that up and play off the original American iteration.

Are there enough Kamen Rider and Metal Hero fans on this site to help flesh out a universe with the three concepts crossing over? A couple Rangers, a couple Troopers, and just a single Masked Rider would be enough to get this thing going. So let me know if you're game!

Any of the above works, I mostly just used cannon characters to explain the current situation and tie everything together. I'm still a rookie when it comes to the original versions of these properties and know very little about Kamen Rider and Metal Heroes. I enjoyed the hell out of the expanded Saban universe, dumb characters like Ferbus and the talking dog just ruined it for me LOL.

Beetleborgs was ok, it just kinda killed the VR Troopers. And the knockoff universal monsters were a big turn off. The Knights were arguably the worst live action show to come from the times, even Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad was better!

Ah, what the hell? I've been playing Kamen Rider Memory of Heroez so it'd be nice to scratch that particular itch here. Count me in.

I'm only versed in the American adaptions of the properties so I don't have as much to go by LOL.

And sorry I haven't checked in, I just had a baby girl born last Monday on the 13th!

As for my earlier point. Dragon Knight IS an American Adaption (of Kamen Rider Ryuki), it just wasn't made by Saban. Hence my comment about it falling outside the "Saban Universe".

But, a suggestion, if I may? It's well established that Power Rangers contains its own multiverse, with the Saban Universe being part of that. So perhaps we can include Dragon Knight as it yet another Universe within the setting (akin to how Dino Charge and RPM are their own dimensions)?

I actually WAS vaguely familiar with Dragon Knight and remember it on tv way back, I'm willing to incorporate or reimagine whatever to get an RP going cause I need something to take my mind off of things.

I can't see the wife cause we tested positive for covid last week, somehow I'm allowed to go into work but with life throwing everything at me I'm having to take a leave after only getting to work 2 days this month.

Not sure if I'd be able to stick it out for the long haul. But, I'll throw my hat in. Is it possible to play as an OC? I haven't watched anything related to these fandoms, since I was a kid. So, I'm thinking of playing as a guy who's capable, but largely new to all of this.

I've actually been recently getting back into Power Rangers through the Boom Studios comics. However I'm still early on, haven't even reached Shattered Grid, so I was wondering about spoilers as you are using the Omega Rangers. While I know the basics of the team, I haven't reached the point where they show up. If we could avoid spoilers I would totally be down for this. Character wise I was thinking a time travelling JJ Oliver, the SPD Green Dragon Ranger, who may or may not be amnesiac to avoid revealing the future.

So if the desire is to have a government/man-made Rider, then I can name 3 series that translate to that the easiest:

Kamen Rider W
Kamen Rider Drive
Kamen Rider Zero-One

There's technically a 4th (Kamen Rider Ex-Aid) but it's video game themed, which means all the suit designs are deliberately made to evoke cartoony video game characters, so not really fitting the gov't theme of the desired adaptation. W also presents a potential issue, as it was originally written and designed to be 2 characters who fuse together when transforming into the Rider form a la Firestorm. And while W is my favorite of the above 3 series, I feel like Drive or Zero-One would have an easier time translating.

@Double You could take any Rider and put a new spin on them, we're essentially making our own canon within some pretty basic limits. I just need one to be alien like the American adaption to tie them to the Rangers and the second can be man-made. My spin on Ryan Steele was going to involve a composite being since it never made sense for him to be half red and half blue. Sort of taking bits from the original pitch for the series where a human merged with a cyber-being.

@Omega Man Trust me dude. No amount of spin could ever make Ex-Aid not be video game themed. His transformation and power up trinkets are literal game cartridges.
