Because the Giant Snail does not have a Swimming Speed, I'm going to say that the Giant Snail is the kind of snail that isn't able to swim/breath underwater. So, Bob will try to avoid drowning in high tide.

Some additional information I forgot to add about the tower: The leaning tower is 50 feet tall and 20 feet in diameter. The black brambles cover the ground within 30 feet of the tower, and they are clustering in a dense patch around an open door.

You can try and move through the brambles without needing to get rid of them, but it would be difficult terrain.

Wow. OK. Brute is...brutal.
Brutrumukk is able to hack away most of the brambles, but there are still a few brambles left.

But compared to before Brutrumukk started hacking away? It's a significant chunk.
