Oh absolutely. That is what Jub is leaning towards at the moment.

Now that I'm thinking more about it, if he were to try and stop Brutrumukk, it would have less to do with morals and more to do with "After nearly dying twice today (and Brutrumukk actually dying) can we afford to start fights with any more weird fey creatures, especially when we're missing a good chunk of our group?"

So yeah, less of a moral compass thing and actually more "Which one is going to cause us less problems?"

... I realised I actually don't know shit about how lycanthropes are handled in DnD, so I looked up weretigers and realised that, yep, they are in fact neutrally aligned and actually one of the more chill types of lycanthrope. You learn something new everyday.

Though now looking at the various options, I am mildly sad he didn't think he was a wereraven. That would have been funny, both because they are lawful good and because it would be payback for all the threatening he made towards Kettlesteam all the way back in Chapter 1.

Although come to think of it, we're probably lucky he didn't think he'd turned into some sort of flying werebeast. Or aquatic werebeast. Imagine him trying to fly or breath under water, not realising he hasn't actually gained wings or gills.
