How do you want to handle her trying to get back to the others while being blind?


Since she's blind, we'll be leaving it up to the dice.
Go ahead and roll a d4. For the directions, I am referring to the map on the first page, starting from the dummy with the black pointed hat.

1 = She'll be heading right until she bumps into the closed door leading to Room B3.
2 = She'll be heading downwards until she bumps into the table with a bunch of dirty plates.
3 = She'll be heading diagonally through the preservation pool itself, crashing into the mirror, and into the middle of the pool.
4 = She'll be heading left towards the stairs leading up to B7

Also...just a quick reminder since Aurora is unable to breathe right now...

When a creature runs out of breath or is choking, it can survive for a number of rounds equal to its Constitution modifier (minimum of 1 round). At the start of its next turn, it drops to 0 hit points and is dying, and it can’t regain hit points or be stabilized until it can breathe again.

First turn has passed. Aurora will drop to 0 HP and starts dying on her next turn.

EDIT: Reread the rule and corrected a mistake on my end in this post. ^^"

At least you did not roll a 3 on the d4 for direction earlier. That would have been the worst case scenario for Aurora. ^^"

I am truly gobsmacked that this campaign actually had so many close calls and a player character death, and coming close to a second player character death now. O_O...

And this is probably the least intimidating module published. Especially with a combat free first chapter.

I will say it is a recklessness of the players to that. I know Rime of the Frostmadien pits the players against some tougher things than they should be going against at level 1 for starter quests.
