Spur expectations, become a Minotaur Rogue. Or a Minotaur Monk.

Yeah... Thess is a fighter but far from a big strong guy. She's a fast stealthy fighter.

I've always wanted to play a Minotaur Eldrich knight or Runic Knight

Guildmaster's Guide to Ravnica
Mythic Odysseys of Theros
Plane Shift: Amonkhet

Weirdly enough, I swore they had been around longer then all three books. I thought they were in Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes or Volo's Guide to Monsters

Yeah I'm pretty sure they debuted in Volo Guide, as they came along with other monster races like the orcs, kobolds, and goblins. But they e been updated and released with Ravnica, since Minotaurs are native to that realm, and Thereos because of it's Greek roots.

I know Volo Races got overwritten since a lot of folks didn't like the races there. Orcs and kobolds had negative modifiers (-2 int and -2 str respectively), as well as poor skills (orcs are basically worse half-orcs and the only good thing about kobold was pack tactics).

Thank you for the link.

@Tab a minotaur should be fine. Though within the forgotten realms I do believe they have a poor reputation, at least with those that know of them. I may have to do some reading of the monster manual and some of the Tome of Foes to verify.

No problem bro, Personally I only use Wikidot. It's way easier then trying to use a pdf or physical book.

Yeah... most would not trust the minotaur. They're not very common however. That said, Gith are inherently evil as well and even more likely to be treated with caution, hell, we're the astrol space pirates of d&d XD

Personally I just use 5e tools. Pretty much has all the resources you could want or need for free. Only problem I have with the site is that it's laggy as shit on mobile, but it's pretty much the most reliable source for 5e stuff that isn't behind a paywall.

I have a small handful of the books physically, one digitally, and parts of other digitally as well. For the most part I'm finding myself preferring the physically books more lately. Kinda like the feel of the physically book.

Books are nice to look at, but it's harder to show your sources online via a book. Though tbh I've also just been spoiled on 5e.tools. It's just so convenient being able to search and find whatever I need, unlike a book where I have to make an educated guess about where I might find some obscure bit of info for something I need to do or know.

I definitely enjoy having physical copies of the books, especially back when my group met up in person, but after we moved to online meetings I've found 5e tools to be super useful for when I need to quickly look something up. It's especially helpful when it's something just kind of annoying or niche, like the specifics of items or certain class features, like Eldritch Invocations and the like.

It's up! I'll try to get a post up tonight. Have we discussed at all how long we've known each other and traveled together?

What of the new cow girl? Which by the way is coming along. She's new to d&d and I've been helping her out. Should be done shortly

Usually I prefer to have my character be a total newcomer to the party, but so far Gorm knows at least one member of the party, and I figure his patron probably gave him subtle nudges towards meeting Albus, if that's alright with @Birdboy?
