A long time ago in a galaxy far far away, there was a planetary system located in the outer sectors of the galaxy known only as the Omega sector. Often known for its rather fantastical lifeforms found on the planets, not many fleets of starships or Jedi have made contact with any of the system inhabitants for a long while.

However, even after Order 66 had come and gone, still not many entities had even known of the planetary system or of its inhabitants due to the key struggle between the Rebellion and the Galactic Empire being one of the main focuses of the era however, following the era when the New Republic rose, expeditions to the outer sectors of the galaxy became more common and eventually, more of the inhabitants of the galaxy became aware of the existence of the Omega Sector which soon prompted more expeditions to that part of the galaxy up until a certain day where some of the leaders of the system’s planets had called a council together to discuss the recent influx of visitors.

Among those officials was Marth, the 16 year old prince of Altea, a kingdom planet inhabited by the Altean people. While some believed that they were a subspecies of humans, the truth about them was that they were extraterrestrials that only shared a human appearance.

However, despite having only recently becoming the leader of his people following the unexpected death of the king and queen, Marth appeared to be rather nervous about the meeting and even ended up glancing over at one of the advisors that was standing right next to him. While he knew that he could always depend on them in the past, he somehow felt that even with the guidance of his advisor, he still felt somewhat unprepared for the gathering that was to come although eventually, Tidus, the current leader of Mer and Bartz, one of the two leaders of Ris had arrived at the meeting which soon started.

During the meeting, the leaders discussed various topics relating to the wellbeing of the Omega system and also the increased rate of visitation to the system’s planets. While this discussion went on for a few hours, the leaders all eventually ended up making a collective decision to keep up with the amount of diplomatic visitors and tourists that were arriving at the system to the best of their abilities before almost all of the other leaders dispersed and went back to their home planets aside from Bartz and Tidus who soon decided to speak with Marth.

“So Marth, I know that you’ve only recently become the leader of Altea and all but you did rather well during that meeting! In fact, most of the other leaders and their representatives just simply froze up without warning and honestly, that was a little strange. However, you just tried the best that you could and that definitely deserves a lot of recognition!” Tidus said cheerfully. While he felt the need to praise the young prince for a job well done during the meeting, he also did seem to show a slight hint of curiosity in his voice as well which seemed to slightly confuse the young prince.

“T-Thank you, Sir Tidus. That compliment really means a lot to me however, I must ask why you have opted to use that tone of voice this time around. You never really used it during the meeting but I am a little intrigued about why you would choose to use it now.” Marth said. While he was wondering why Tidus had chosen to use a tone of voice that seemed to suggest curiosity, he had also decided to try and keep his question rather simple and somewhat easy to answer so that the leader of Mer wouldn’t take too long to answer the question.

“Well, I did want to explore Altea and see how everything has changed however, I wasn’t sure if I would be able to do it this time around. So, I ask of you here and now if I can explore the kingdom of Altea.” Tidus said with a smile on his face. Judging by the eagerness in his tone, he seemed to be raring to go when it came to exploring Altea although once Marth had given him permission, he ran outside of the castle and off into the distance to see all that had changed in the world before Bartz ended up approaching the young prince.

“You did well during this meeting. I could tell that despite this meeting being rather last minute, you were still able to pull through and perform remarkably. Not just any leader can do that.” Bartz said before he ended up smiling. He seemed to be rather relieved that the meeting was over for the most part although he also felt like it would be appropriate to congratulate the prince as well.

The ship was spiraling out of control. It could be mistaken for a shooting star, but it was daylight out. Vidarr was struggling to find somewhere to land that wasn't going to be destructive, but failing. C3-NT was also freaking out, much to Vidarr's annoyance. "MENENG, NT!" Vidarr shouted, already annoyed with the droid. His annoyance wasn't helping, and his moment of speech caused him to lose what little control he had of the ship and it crashed. Immediately, everything went black. The Jawa wasn't dead, no, but he was unaware of all that was happening. Of course, C3-NT had taken quite a lot of damage and was short-circuited and decapitated. The rubble of the ship was burning, and the damage would not be repairable.

Tidus had spotted what appeared to be a shooting star and then quickly ran over towards it. He seemed to be rather curious about what had fallen from the sky and as a result, ended up quickly running towards a certain direction. However, when he had arrived at the location, all that he was greeted with was the rubble of a burning ship which didn’t seem to be all that interesting to him although he still decided to check it out.

“What the hell? Why is there a ship that ended up crashing on Altea? Did some tourists have an accident or anything of the sort? Did something else end up happening aside from that?” He muttered softly as he approached the wreckage to get a closer look at it. He didn’t exactly know what he might end up finding although he also seemed to be quite curious and possibly a little scared of the possibilities of what he could find.

The wreckage was mostly silence, except for the flickering of the flames and occasional creak of melting metal. Then the voice of the small Jawa could be heard, barely awakened but still there. "Opo...?" Vidarr groaned. It had all happened so suddenly. He tried to sit up but his leg was trapped under a still-hot chunk of metal. He wailed.

“What the? There’s someone in there?” Tidus said as he ran towards the rubble and then tried to move the still hot chunk of metal. While this resulted in him almost burning his hands, he attempted to ignore the searing pain that came with touching the still hot metal as he attempted to move it.

He was too stubborn to ask for help nor did he know of anyone who could possibly be nearby to help. As a result, he would still continue trying to move the metal by himself and eventually, managed to do so. While the result of moving it without any sort of gloves left a few burn marks on his hands, he had decided to ignore this for now before he ended up sighing.

“There we go. Just how hot was that piece of metal anyway…” He muttered softly before he sat down right next to the wreckage.

Vidarr slowly sat up, spooking as C3-NT's head rolled past him after clattering to the ground. He started to pick his way through the rubble and trip-tumbled out of the ship, looking around. His expression was masked in shadow, but his orange eyes were wide with terror and a hint of shock. Finally, his gaze landed on Tidus. "Sapa kowe?!(Who are you?)" He yelped, still half panicked. At least there was life where he'd crashed, that was soft of a comfort to him.

“I’m… afraid that I don’t quite understand what you are saying… Sorry about that…” Tidus muttered softly with a hint of confusion in his voice. He was rather unfamiliar with the Jawa language and due to not knowing of any individuals who speak of it on Mer or Altea, it would prove to be quite difficult for him to find someone to translate as well. However, this did little to quell the confusion that he had at the moment despite his best attempts to try and comprehend the language that was being spoken at the current moment.

The Jawa seemed annoyed at that. But Vidarr understood that not many could understand his language on planets he didn't know. He knew a tiny bit of Human, and decided to attempt communication, even though it would be difficult. Then he realized that if he could fix C3-NT, this would be much less difficult. Where was that droid anyway? He held up a hand as if to signal to give him a second then hurried back into the ship, returning moments later dragging the short-circuited droid. He dropped the droid and kicked it. C3-NT's eyes slowly started to glow again. "Hello, Master Vid- OH! Where are we?" The droid sounded about as alarmed as a droid could sound. "Takon manungsa, dudu aku, C3-NT," Vidarr told the droid. Finally the droid turned its head and saw Tidus. "Oh. Hello. Would you happen to know where we are? It seems we crashed."

“You’re on the planet of Altea! It doesn’t tend to get very many visitors due to how far out the Omega Sector is but it’s not the only planet within the system. My home planet, Mer is also a part of the same sector although it’s almost completely underwater when you compare it to Altea. Of course, many of the people here tend to be quite understanding of various circumstances and we just got finished with a meeting as well!” Tidus said cheerfully. While he stood up after he spoke, he also seemed to not be as confused as he was earlier when it came to the language barrier.

"I see," The droid said flatly. The head turned to look at Vidarr, even though the droid did not speak to the Jawa. Vidarr seemed to glare at the droid. "Temokake jenenge, NT." He ordered. The droid returned its attention to Tidus. "What might your name be?" The droid's voice fritz-ed out intermittently due to the damage sustained.

“I’m Tidus, the leader of Mer! It’s nice to meet you!” Tidus said cheerfully. While he seemed to be unaware of the fact that the droid was in fact damaged, he still felt like it was necessary to introduce himself with both his name and title as well. While it was unknown why he felt that this would be necessary, the uncertainty of his actions was also not made very clear either.

"Yes, you as well. I am C3-NT, and this is Master Vidarr of the Jed-" The droid was cut off by a random surge of power that sent sparks flying. Vidarr cursed, growing annoyed at the droid for being broken, even if it technically was the Jawa's fault they had crashed. Vidarr set aside his annoyance to introduce himself, as the droid had done a poor job of doing so. "Jenengku Vidarr Alcyorr," He looked up at Tidus, his orange eyes slightly narrowed. The rest of his face was masked in shadow, hidden from the world for all eternity. Perhaps...

“Oh crud… Let’s get you two back to the Capital. There are sure to be some mechanics that will be able to help you out there! After all, they are why Altea is able to thrive in terms of technology even if they do combine half of it with magic to create Magitek.” Tidus said. While he took a step back from the wreckage of the ship after he spoke, he also turned to leave to head back to the Altean capital in order to meet back up with Marth and Bartz. He had spent enough time out in the fields and eventually ended up glancing over at the Sun which was much lower in the sky than it was previously.

Vidarr picked up the now completely dead C3-NT, with some struggle. He figured that if Tidus's type used magic, this would be an interesting ride. His family had warned him against trusting magic users, Jedi, Sith, and the like. Of course, that was before it was found out that Vidarr was Force-sensitive. He would follow Tidus, not speaking. There was no point in speaking, due to the language barrier.

Eventually, after walking a fair amount, Tidus had stopped in front of the gates to Altea’s capital and waited for said gates to open. While this meant that he stood in silence, he eventually decided to speak to signify his presence.

“I am here to request entry into the capital. I managed to find someone and their droid out here and have told them about the mechanics so please let us pass.” He said. While he waited for the gates to open after he spoke, he watched as one of the guards eventually opened the gates and as a result, stepped into the capital where he was soon greeted by Bartz who was exploring the capital itself.

Vidarr simply followed Tidus, looking around the capital. Of course, he was still dragging the shell of C3-NT. He needed at least the memory drive on NT fixed as it had vital information on it.

“Oh? Hey there, Tidus! Where did you sneak off to?” Bartz asked Tidus when he noticed that the blonde teen had arrived back into town. While he had no idea of where he had run off to, he was undoubtedly curious about what Tidus had been doing outside of town hence the reason why he asked him where he had snuck off to.

“Well, I just went to go wander around the plains however, I also ended up finding someone and their droid in the wreckage of a ship! However, I will have to warn you that there might be a bit of a language barrier so please don’t mind that too much.” Tidus said as he glanced over at Bartz. He decided to answer the question that the young leader had asked him to the best of his abilities however, he also ended up waiting for a response from Bartz as well.

“Is that so? Well then, I suppose that you brought them here to the capital for a reason? Pray tell, what is that reason exactly?” Bartz said before he walked over to one of the nearby marketplace stalls. While he beckoned for Tidus to follow him so that the two could discuss the situation with Marth, he was unsure if the blonde teen would actually end up following him.

“I brought them here since from the looks of it, the droid might need to be taken to a mechanic. However, they would probably need some help with the whole… wrecked ship situation…” Tidus said as he ended up following Bartz.

"Sampeyan kudu guyon aku," Vidarr muttered. Whatever these... people... were, they seemed to like dawdling. All Vidarr really wanted was to get off this darned planet and back to Tatooine, where he could attempt to return to his normal trading life. Of course, he'd have to get C3-NT repaired, so that was an issue he faced. This time, he didn't follow Tidus right away, unsure whether or not he should.

“Well then, there’s a mechanic near the blacksmith. If you want, I could take both you and the one that you found there. Marth normally has to keep both around especially after the amount of folks who crash land or visit here. It’s kind of a necessity nowadays especially when you’re dealing with other people. However, we might want to talk to him about some things that we forgot to discuss during the meeting.” Bartz said as he ended up changing the direction in which he walked. While this meant that he was walking over towards where the blacksmith and mechanic were, he was still followed by Tidus who opted to remain completely silent for the time being when it came to the current matter at hand.

Vidarr followed them, muttering to himself in his native language, which he knew neither of them would be able to translate. He was glad they couldn't translate what he was saying this time.
