Update on the Malmo!



3x (Double gun 120mm Bofors)
2X (Single gun 57mm Bofors)
10x (Single gun 40mm AA Bofors)
2x (Three tube 533mm Torpedo launcher)
2x (Six tube Depth Charge mortar)

That should the be Malmo class destroyers final armament and shape!

(I based its armament on historical destroyers from the 40's to 70's. Also I should add that this was made under the assumption that guided missiles are rare enough that common use is a ways off or simply do not exist. I based this on the relatively primitive nature of rocket and jet technology. )

My AP teacher never gave a shit and I consistently scored high marks on essays I bullshitted off the top of my head.

One time my essay for cadets went all the way to the regional level because it was so good - I did it in thirty minutes the morning it was due. Maybe speaking correct English gave me an advantage over all the other military types.

No shittin you, I wrote an essay once in my sleep. Which is to say I was nodding off, I would wake up and write some words half dazed, then I would nod off again. When I woke up properly I had enough words and I had ran out of time so I figured "Fuck it." and printed it off.

Got an A.

The first half or so would have been written awake. For all I know, the prof only read some of that first part.

But I was still pretty damned impressed with myself.

It's a patrol craft, right? I dunno if the curved upwards bow is necessary for a short range craft. Maybe on bluewater ships, but greenwater vessels don't necessarily need them.
