By the way, people, don't forget that the guildmaster, and the assistant of any guild are both considered NPCs... that means that they can be controlled by an average player. However, please do so within reason. Don't make the guildmaster of some other guild kill himself just because you can control him by being near him.

Arnold's on the roof. Approaching him would involve scaling a wall or climbing up several stories of stairs. Plus, you're gonna need to shout if at ground level.

Bio: Gavin was born in Birchwood Forest, and lived there for almost his entire childhood. Even though he was one of the only Shinx in that area, he wasn't teased about it, and had a very smooth life. Having it easy isn't always good, though. Gavin was sheltered from virtually all the world's problems, from knowing about the anger between the guilds, to something as small as a berry shortage. Needless to say it shocked him when something bad happened in his seemingly perfect world.

Nobody knows exactly how it started, but a rumor has been going around that a group of Bunnelby were attacking a Chimchar that wandered into their territory. The Chimchar fought back with a flamethrower, which completely missed the Bunnelby, and instead hit a tree. Using a fire attack in a dense forest probably wasn't a good idea. Within minutes, almost a quarter of Birchwood Forest had caught fire - the part of the forest that Gavin lived in. It quickly became big enough to see even from Treasure Town, which is exactly what happened. Residents of Treasure Town noticed what was happening in Birchwood Forest and word quickly spread of their emergency. Soon there were groups of water Pokemon making their way over there to help extinguish the flames.

Back in the center of the blaze, the entire place was in chaos. Pokemon were running from the fire as trees were burning and toppling to the ground. Gavin was unsure of what to do, because as far as he knew, nothing remotely like this had ever happened. His house was too far away, so the possibility of him hiding in it wasn't an option. Although his house is made of wood, so it wouldn't have been a good idea anyway. Much to Gavin's relief, he spotted his parents running over to him. They all met up and tried to find an exit to the forest that didn't require walking through the flames. There only seemed to be one way out of this area, so they made the decision that would change Gavin's life forever, they followed the path. Not long after, they heard a loud rumbling sound coming from behind them. A large herd of Skidoo had been faced with the same problem, and were currently barreling down the path at unstoppable speeds. Gavin barely managed to avoid them, however his parents weren't as lucky. The only thing that the Skidoo seemed to be thinking about was escaping the fire. Gavin's parents were caught in the stampede and carried off, which would be rather comical if not for the situation.

By the time the water Pokemon extinguished the flames, most of that area of the forest had already burned to the ground. Gavin, having no where else to go, returned to his home to see what was left of it. Like him, many other Pokemon were slowly returning as well only to find that the forest was inhospitable and almost beyond repair. There was nothing left of Gavin's house except a pile of ashes and a blue scarf that had somehow avoided the flames. That item was the only thing left of Gavin's life in Birchwood Forest.

Ten years have passed since the fire. Gavin had left Birchwood Forest in hopes of finding a new place to call home, and his efforts were rewarded with the discovery of Scale City. Using the small amount of money that he had found in dungeons, Gavin bought a house in the city. Even though he got a job and had enough money, his life quickly began to feel empty, so Gavin decided to join the guild. To his surprise, literally every single Pokemon in the Scale City guild was Dragon type. Despite that, Denise, the guild master, wasn't opposed to Gavin joining, and was actually confused as to why everyone there was Dragon type. Gavin's first mission was to find a lost Oran Berry in Secret Cave. not the most challenging mission, but he was just a beginner at this. The last thing that Gavin seems to remember is getting ambushed by a Dweeble...

Appearance: Gavin looks like a normal Shinx, except he wears the blue scarf that he found in the remains of his house.
Differences: No differences, except that he knows Ice Fang. (Egg move.)

Something tells me we're gonna have to change the geography of Birchwood Forest. Unless it turns out a successful reforestation attempt took place, I cannot accept nor deny the app due to those concerns.

It was more of a smaller area of Birchwood Forest that was burned. Also, this was a while ago in the RP.

I dunno... after all, no more than three years after was when (A certain RP's) events take place, and Birchwood was just fine, with no memories of a fire. Heck, if there was one, (someone's) parents would have moved much earlier, pretty much negating the first 5% of that Rp.

So, no fire.

Is this RP still accepting? I'm working on my CS right now. Got a cool idea for a character, but it seems for the most part only people from the original RP are joining.
