Not at all what I’m implying. Just saying that I think it’s amazing that you have a whole world with characters in your mind, and want to build into it with us, but that it can be really confusing if a character is suddenly there without context or introduction and I can feel a little bad not fully understanding things, thinking I’ve missed something entirely like the mention of hollow. Just a mental note for you to be like; oh hey this character is this and this, just for context! ❤️

I think me missing that 3 = cosette is prob because I’m a lil dum, as Cosette is supposedly 17 and I’m not sure where this was discussed and now I feel dumb lmao.

I have a whole rotation of Louvre staffers. And then there's the council. If I wrote a cs for everybody.... there would be no roleplay... at least not one that I was participating in. Feel free to always ask me things about anything regarding my posts and I will gladly clarify for you. Don't ever feel dumb about this; questions are always good.

If it makes you feel better, Nick knows as much about Cress as you do. The Hallow/Hollow was what Nick/Aaron called the shadow monster(s) that attacked Nick from Estylwen's previous post. I just decided to expand on the lore rather than kill the monster, since it's creepy as hell and I love me some creepy humanoids.

Thierry is well aware of the situation with his son being older than Nick, but the shadow people are playing with his emotions. Nick and Thierry have had... discussions... revolving around this many times. Vonny wants to get back at the Louvre for interfering with their work in the past and I figured this could be a fun way to do so- on my end helping to push the story forward rather than just react.

Because yes, I'm calling him Vonny now. x'D

Ah, some of the tidbits of backstory I'm giving you guys is killing me. Like, I almost feel bad for @Estylwen letting me use my favorite pre-made characters for this. But this was supposed to be more along a Tomb Raider/Indie Jones feel than a true post apocalyptic themed rp. So I had to at least ask about using them, when she initially approached me.

Whoops. I was gonna leave that as a surprise. A little plot twist. But no matter! Yes, Cosette is #3, which is why age was super important. She acts very young, due to having no memories and being [redacted] continously. But she is around 17 years of age. I'm just waiting for the moment when Von Galloes drives the nail through Thierry's heart when he realizes both of his daughters have been [redacted] for the past 7 years. //innocent smile

Not a new character, technically, as I mentioned him before during a phone call Thierry had. He's a Louvre person of power, not an agent. He's more on von's level, but not in complete control of the Louvre. He is on The Council as well. He's an older man, even older than Thierry, but still an archeologist despite everything I just said. But a paper pusher themed one. I'd like him with von, if that's okay with you, since he's not a Tomb Raider.

I hope doing this is okay. I feel like there's tons of background business characters that are just not cs worthy.

I could do a [redacted] cs for appearance, if you'd like. But basically, just an older gray haired guy, probably with glasses is just fine. I was thinking that since he's also on The Council, he's probably part of the British Museum and not completely The Louvre.

And yeah, they're totes together sipping wine, rofl. Cress is not a gun fighter at all. I would imagine something along the lines of, "You can do whatever you want with these two agents and have this information about the Shadow People, but leave other Louvre/Brit Museum property/agents/artifacts/facilities alone." I imagine Cress would do this, fully believing that Thierry could handle himself.

But I suppose even this could be debatable.

@WhiteAngel25 It really is a good post, a lot of character development on Thierry's end. Now that we have all these kids I kinda want them to get back together. Oh, it's so sad!

Thanks you guys! I love me some good character development. Thierry originally wasn't going to be a love interest, but I feel it gives both characters much needed drama development. I reread posts for an edge on content as well and sometimes just for fun, if I have a moment to do so.

Oh Gosh, poor girls. Also poor Thierry, because he DOES love them. But then also marries a Nick and alienates somewhat his only son and suddenly only child by doing so. The drama!

I think in Thierry's mind he felt that marrying Nick put Nick on a way different level to Theo and hoped Theo would realize that Nick was a romantic interest and not a replacement of him. Backfires of course and instead alienates Sabrina even further. I think the only person it legit helped was Nick and maybe helps Thierry realize he's too involved with his work later down the road. I do think Thierry is in love with the idea of being in love and has a strong desire to take care of somebody... he's just not taking care of the right people. In this regard, Nick really does represent his midlife crisis.

Especially since Sab and Thierry got divorced somewhere between now and 7 years ago, and that apparently 7 years ago both Aurélie and Cosette disappeared, leaving Theo as essentially an only child to deal with the divorce and Thierry getting together with Nick. Oh the drama.

Just a reminder that I suck at math... I don't hate math, but the feeling doesn't seem to be mutual.

Two years, Nick was 21 or about to turn 21 at the time. Nick's birthday is July 16th... on good days when I remember. I never really figured out exactly when they got married as that tidbit wasn't necessary until recently.

My original idea was that Thierry's wife left his happy ass due to his absence, but like... the kids being abducted was never a problem. I imagine that the kids being abducted would drive Thierry even further into isolation, thus Sabrina divorcing him leaving Theo dealing with it like an only child.

Thierry isolating himself further would be out of fear for Theo and Sabrina, but as Sabrina is also an archeologist, more so to protect Theo. And yes, Thierry would absolutely blame himself for what happened to his kids.

Lmao, fair, since the abduction will be a thing I just wanted to know for Theo’s sake if he comes into play, which I’m sure he will.

It’s pretty heartwrenching for all parties involved, it could be a combination of his abscence, lack of true love for Sabrina and then the events in the prequel obviously driving them further apart, as such a relationship can’t handle a crisis. Def can’t wait to see it all play out.

I do think that despite everything, he did care about Sabrina, but failed to recognize that it wasn't romantic in nature. He's a caregiver by nature. Dude should of been a doctor, not an archeologist. Honestly. I'm excited to see the madness play out as well.

I think that Thierry’s love for his children or care for Sabrina isn’t in doubt, but obv teenagers can view this differently and with stuff happening it can be hard to believe to them sometimes.

You can already see the affects in prequel that Theo isnt sure about his girlfriend because of his parents and how he witnessed their “love”. Ugh, my heartstrings.

Oh Oh! Here's a completely unfun slightly unnecessary tidbit that I've been hiding!

One of the "last straws" that drove Thierry to having romantic feelings for Nick was when he heard what Nick's last situationship said to him.

Long dramatic argument turned lecture short, Nick's ex girlfriend told him that she'd started taking "the pill" after having an abortion. Not because she didn't feel she wasn't ready for kids or because she didn't want kids. Because she had talked plenty with Nick about wanting kids. But, she's a massive bitch and told him she was only sleeping with Nick to make another guy jealous and that she didn't believe Nick deserved to have kids and most certainly not -her- kids.

So, instead of checking himself out (the man has a gun stash that could make John Wick cry and Lara Croft jealous) or into the ER, Nick turned to the only person he felt he could trust at the time... Thierry. He trusted Thierry because he'd gone through a divorce himself among other reasons.

Oh... and where did this argument occur? A wreck room for agents at the Louvre... they weren't alone.
