Thanks to @Lexisheeps for the amazing collab. Because of this, Aurélie and Nick were able to have an interesting conversation.

Aside from that, I'm genuinely sorry that it's so long. I tried to make it smaller but that also didn't feel right. I hope it's still enjoyable to read, in any case. I'll tone it in more. I just wanted to honour what others have written by including reactions to that, while simultaneously having to react to our great GM's post and dramatic turn of events.

Aurélie noticed she couldn't even think it. Say it. If Thierry got remarried then, he divorced Sabrina? The woman she saw as a mother? Or did she... die? It was all too much, right now, and she could barely decipher the odd look on the man's face after his confession. A hint of shame?

Not gonna lie. I'm curious about what Theo thinks of his dad running off to the field, despite physical ailments (busted knee + not being on the field in years) to save his stepfather that asshole he's related to by lack of choice (who has a good bill of health and age on his side).

Is he gonna blame Nick (further) for wanting to "prove" his worth if Thierry gets hurt?

Or

Hate Thierry for getting further involved with HiveMind, a company with a piss poor reputation with Louvre workers (not realizing HM has both of his sisters)?

And what, if anything, has Sabrina told him?

Well, I’m not sure. We’re going with that Thierry tries to keep Theo out of everything. Theo’s job at the Louvre is safe, and Thierry tries to stop him from going in the field (maybe Theo’s official requests are always mysteriously denied),

and I don’t know if Thierry would’ve even told him that a) Nick is missing and b) that he’s leaving to get him. Like leaving a voicemail ‘I’m going on a field mission take care of my plants bisous”

I don’t know what Sabrina tells him, either. To Theo, his sisters are prob dead, as they maybe are to the goverment? If Theo doesnt know about HM then how can he hold out hope/search for them? In a sense, if he found out what his parents have been keeping from him, I don’t think Theo would like them very much.

So unless Sabrina takes pity on him and decided to rope him in more, he’s in the dark (and feeling extremely betrayed)

Edit: unless we think of something elss to involve Theo

I had kind of imagined that with Theo being a bit of a socialite, that he'd hear things through gossip. Maybe even seek out to find out about various rumors if got sick and tired of his requests being constantly denied. Yeah, I see a bunch of dead plants in Thierry's feature. rofl

Yeah that’s definefly something I’ve been thinking about, as he can smoothtalk his way into information or people just feel comfortable enough arouns him to let things drop. Maybe this is how he finds out that Thierry is behind him being denied. Maybe he goes to demand an explanation and finds out he’s gone.

I’m not a mastermind when it comes to this :(
