There is absolutely no way in hell that this is Thierry's fault. While he didn't necessarily connect with Aurélie, he's felt nothing but remorse for her situation. He honestly thinks she had every right to dislike or even outright hate him as a person, let alone as her father. I doubt this needed to be said, but I just wanted to clarify Thierry's pov regardless.

Theo had said it was nothing special, but she knew he was downplaying it. Because he couldn’t help but compare himself to Thierry and Nick.

I've been igonring this for awhile, BUT NO LONGER :U you guys keep saying: de Viller when it is really: de Villiers This is meant to be an FYI and not me just being picky about it. idky I picked this last name initially, but probably because it's oober French and I really wanted to drive that last "Thierry's a French guy" nail in the coffin. This is an honest-to-God real last name that's common in France. And yes, the "d" in "de" is supposed to be lowercase as it means "of" annnnnd it's a "prefix called a particle", to quote google. p:

Speaking of Thierry...
his first name actually means: Ruler of the people
and de Villiers actually means: town-dweller, of the village, or settlement

So literally Thierry de Villiers loosely translates to Father Figure.

The avoiding eyes one lmao. Yeah Aurélie loves analysing floortiles now. I wanted to convey how she first wouldn't back down, she'd glare and convey her feelings toward her father or anyone else, and now she glances down due to it kind of being tortured out of her to be rebellious. Sad, really :(

Nahh, thanks for clarifying but this has nothing to do with Thierry <3, just nasty internet peeps thinking a rich girl with important parents isn't nice. Like her brother loved the limelight and talking to people but she shied away and got perceived as rude and such. The comment wasn't talking about how she wasn't nice to Thierry. Hope that clears it up!
