When she quickly kissed him back, Avery relaxed. The relief flooded him so quickly, he audibly sighed. Avery's hold on Kimiko loosened for a moment in his relief before it tightened again. He wrapped his other arm around her, picking her up off the ground while he kissed her deeply.

Avery had dreamed of this moment ever since he woke up after tearing down the wall he had built. He understood Kimiko's distance and hesitation. Even though she had wanted him in her bed at night, there hadn't been much intimacy between them aside from hand holding and cuddling.

At night, Avery held onto Kimiko for as long as she allowed him. Afraid he was dreaming and he would wake up at any minute to find himself alone. Or that she would change her mind and reject him.

While Wayland became preoccupied with Ren, Cassi set up Wayland's litter in an area that wouldn't disturb the rest of the house. She had never been a fan of people placing them in the bathroom, finding it unsanitary. Instead, Cassi located a corner in one of the spare closets, so it was tucked away but still easily accessible. She finished laying out a mat to keep the space clean when she walked back into the kitchen.

She smiled at Nic, but didn't stop to greet him, rather she kept going and picked up the bag of cat food to add to the dish she had laid out. With her earlier plans of teaching Nic what teasing was still fresh in her mind, Cassi scooped out the right amount of food for Wayland and bent over to fill the dish. She didn't couch down, as would be proper in her skirt, but rather she bent at the waist, bending her left knee slightly to allow for the reach and dumped the food into Wayland's dish. She stood back up, and looked at Nic with a silent challenge in her smile.

”Like the screaming rock,” Avery said with a nod. He let his arm drop from around Kimiko, missing her already even though she stood near him to get her gear on.

He laughed when she called him corny and shrugged. ”I guess, but true all the same.” Avery pulled on his jacket, grabbed the keys from the bag, and put his wallet back inside before setting the backpack in Kimiko's spot. He turned the bike on after sitting down and pulled on his helmet.

Once Kimiko was in place and ready, Avery walked the bike backwards before turning and drove forward. It took a bit longer to get to the park than the first time Avery took her only because he was driving more cautiously for her sake. Still, it was a pleasant drive. At one point, Avery had dropped his hand from the handlebar to rest on Kimiko's shin while he drove. He rubbed his hand along the side of her leg, happy she was with him.

Finally, they reached the proper turn out, and Avery parked the bike before shutting it off. He removed his helmet and breathed in the clean air. Some of the trees were just starting to change colours as autumn neared. The view would be gorgeous by October.

Kiki would snort at that, but she knows what Avery says is true. He would not have been able to avoid major repercussions if he had intent to hurt her. She smiles though when he looks down at her again, trying to be comforting. “Nero and Cassi have both volunteered to take over for now.” She says, nodding in agreement. “I hope you’re ready for me to wipe the floor with you when you take over.” She teases, smirking up at Avery.

Cassiopeia tightened her hand in Nic's hair when he picked her up. She wasn't expecting to be pinned to the wall, but it made her grin on his lips all the same. He held her securely, the wall keeping her stable and she wrapped her legs around his hips, tightening her legs and core to keep herself elevated.

She sighed his name, giving him the access his tongue wanted. Nic's hand's were electric on her body. A tease all on their own since she could feel them through her lace underwear but not fully, either.

Caden looked at Nero when he felt them shift, alarmed they were leaving him. As soon as Nero moved closer, Caden understood what they were doing. He relaxed, wrapping his arms around his imp. Caden rested one of his hands on Nero's leg while the other rested on their hip.

Caden buried his face in the back of their sweater, inhaling their scent before he settled and watched the screen through the curtain of Nero's hair.

Avery grinned and booped Kimiko's nose with their joined hands. ”Nothing would make me happier,” he told her honestly. If she could take him down, Avery hoped that would settle him and his wolf, knowing she could more than look after herself if he wasn't around.

Nic greedily explores Cassi’s mouth with his tongue, beyond intoxicated by her in the moment. He continues kissing her, moving his hands down her thighs before returning them to her ass. It feels like time has stopped for them, giving Nic plenty of room to show Cassi how much her teasing has affected him.

When he pulls away to breathe, he buries his face in the crook of her neck and pants lightly. He kisses her neck before he pulls away from the wall and gently sets her down on her feet, adjusting her skirt so it lay normally. “Alright, shopping.” He says, his voice strained. His eyes definitely say that shopping is the last thing on his mind as he stares at Cassi hungrily.

“Bitte sehr.” Nero mumbles back, reaching to pat Caden’s head. They never thought they would see their dragon afraid of something that had nothing to do with them or the rest of his family. As weird as it is, they feel glad that they can help, even if it is something small.

The show goes on and it does mention black holes, even showing the incredible footage captured recently. Once the show begins to end, Nero kisses Caden’s cheek and scurries back into their seat before anyone can give the two any flack.

Kiki grins back at Avery, shifting to sit up and hold his face with her free hand. She leans in and kisses him softly on the lips before pulling away. “Wanna make a bet on it?” She asks with a smirk and an eyebrow quirked.

Cassiopeia knew the moment couldn't continue, but she desperately wished it could. Her eyes remained shut after Nic pulled away from the kiss. She tried to regulate her breathing, to calm her heart rate, but the sensation of Nic's hand's on her body continued to claw through her mind.

She opened her eyes once her feet were on the ground, and fixed Nic's hair while he fixed her skirt. Part of her was hoping he was adjusting it to gain access to the zipper to free her from the fabric. When she saw his eyes after he pulled away, she guessed he was thinking the same.

Cassi sighed and tilted her head back against the wall. ”Right. Shopping.” She had all but forgotten they decided to go shopping to get Nic an outfit for Caden's bonding ceremony. Plus lunch.

Cassi leaned away from the wall, trusting her legs to support her and brushed her hands down her skirt and fixed her sweater.

”I think you sufficiently understand the concept of teasing now,” Cassi declared.

The combination of being able to touch Nero and their scent enveloping him, kept Caden relaxed enough to watch the remainder of the show. He was even able to watch the theory section on black holes. He could admit the science behind it was interesting, as well as the formation of supernovas, but he didn't share the desire to be in a black hole like Nero.

As the show came to a conclusion, Nero scrambled back into their seat which caused Caden to chuckle.

”So I think we learned a valuable lesson today. No dragons in space,” Caden said and patted Nero's hand before he stood.

Kimiko let go of Avery's hand but he didn't let it relax. Instead, he ran his hand down her side where it came to rest on her hip. Avery smiled lazily up at Kimiko while she hovered.

He chuckled from her challenge, and let his hand slip lower. ”What's the bet?” Avery's eyes danced, anticipation at the idea of possibly winning.

Nic’s grateful for the assist with his hair, bending his knees and back so Cassi can reach it easier. He gives a soft chuckle when she mentions the teasing again. “But… How will I ever learn, Madame Alistair?” He puts on a thick French accent while saying her name which might offend any actual French people who heard it. It doesn’t matter to him though, he just loves to get a smile out of Cassi.

“Also, I’m thinking you might need more lessons too.” He pinches her sides gently in a teasing manner as she tries to adjust her clothes.

Nero nods, chuckling along with Caden. “I wonder how flying in space would go for a dragon? And what sort of spacesuit one would need for that.” They can’t help but tease as they pat Caden’s hand with their free one before they stand with him.

“Now it’s gift shop time.” They say as they grab Caden’s hand and start to pull them out of the little theater. They can’t remember if he had promised them to any other shows, but they did see some earrings that looked interesting before.

Kiki’s heart feels like it skips a beat when Avery smiles up at her and her nose crinkles as she tries to nervously smile back without blushing. When he chuckles and his hand drifts, she wants to say forget about it and climb into his lap, but she restrains herself. “If I can win at least one round of a spar with you.” She says, eyes shifting to his lips before looking back at his eyes.

“I don’t have any ideas for what we win, though… but you can’t choose rifling through my underwear drawer again at least.” The way his eyes dances both thrills and scares her as she absentmindedly pulls part of her bottom lip between her teeth.
